Director David O. Russell reunites with two of his stars from The Fighter, Oscar winner Christian Bale and Amy Adams, for American Hustle, which also stars Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and Robert De Niro (all of whom previously worked with Russell on Silver Linings Playbook). Jeremy Renner rounds out the star-studded ensemble.

The crime flick (set against the backdrop of the ABSCAM case) has an especially Scorsese-esque vibe to it, wouldn’t you agree?

Sony has slated American Hustle for a December 13th release.

Comic-Con: The X-Men Reunited

At the start of this afternoon’s Fox panel at San Diego Comic-Con, The Wolverine director James Mangold started things off with a bit of a dig at that other solo Wolverine movie — “It ended up with a lot of other mutants in it as well,” he joked.

Well, the funny thing is, this panel also ended up with a lot of other mutants! As in, practically the entire cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past: Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Anna Paquin, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage, Evan Peters, and Omar Sy. Director Bryan Singer and producers Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, and Hutch Parker were also in attendance.

Watch the New Hunger Games: Catching Fire Trailer

A question was asked today at Lionsgate’s Hunger Games: Catching Fire panel at San Diego Comic-Con, and it was a perhaps predictable one considering the franchise’s core fanbase: “How intense will the kissing scenes be?”

Thankfully this led to stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson recalling shooting a scene that involved her snot connecting to his mouth. “It’s going to be really hot,” they laughed.

This was the first time Hunger Games has ever done the huge Hall H at the con, and it was a fun one, owing largely to Lawrence and her charm. She caused much swooning in the aisles of the hall.

The panel also included director Francis Lawrence, Willow Shields (Primrose), Lenny Kravitz (Cinna), Jena Malone (Johanna), Jeffrey Wright (Beetee), Liam Hemsworth (Gale), and Josh Hutcherson (Peeta).

Comic-Con: Days of Future Past Plans

20th Century Fox has been coy about what sort of presence the X-Men franchise will have at this week’s San Diego Comic-Con. The Hollywood Reporter recently confirmed that The Wolverine will be there at Saturday’s Fox presentation, and now a new report claims that, as suspected, X-Men: Days of Future Past will be the panel’s “secret” film.

According to Vulture, “the Bryan Singer–helmed film will be sending over a dozen cast members to San Diego to tease the ambitious sequel.” We already know Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore, and Peter Dinklage will already be at Comic-Con for, respectively, The Wolverine, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, True Blood, The Following, and Game of Thrones. So that leaves the likes of James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, Ellen Page, Evan Peters, Nicholas Hoult, Omar Sy, Daniel Cudmore, and Lucas Till, who Bryan Singer revealed via Twitter is reprising his First Class role of Havok (see the pic Singer tweeted below).

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Looking good, Jen Law!

Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence, 22, took a break from her busy schedule this weekend to run some errands with a friend. While out shopping for some Vera Wang in West Hollywood (always a bridesmaid, not yet a bride), Lawrence flashed serious leg in a black, high-slit skirt.

The actress paired her black skirt with a grey T-shirt tied into a crop top, a black blazer, a hat and the mandatory giant celebrity sunglasses. The “Silver Linings Playbook” star just recently debuted her new short, wavy ‘do.

The Most Fashionable People on the 2013 Time 100

By Justin Fenner

Time magazine’s annual list of the world’s 100 most influential people includes a handful of some of the industry’s most beloved characters, including Jenna Lyons and Michael Kors.

But it’s not just designers who represent the fashion community on this year’s list. Tadashi Yanai, the influential CEO of Fast Retailing – which backs Helmut Lang, Theory, and Uniqlo – is also on the list, and so is the Oscar-winning face of Miss Dior, Jennifer Lawrence. And while they might not have made the list this year, Prabal Gurung and Zac Posen made contributions to the list by writing about Lyons and Kors, respectively.

Get a look at who else from the industry made the list here in the gallery, and see the full list of this year’s honorees here.

Notch '2nd Most Influential Person' in World

Markus ‘Notch’ Persson is currently sitting in second position on the 2013 edition of the TIME 100 Poll, putting him ahead of the likes of Barack Obama, Kim Jong Un, Jennifer Lawrence, Beyoncé and controversial pop group Pussy Riot.

In fact, the only person beating the Minecraft creator is Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi, who attracted significant international attention after rising to power last year by decreeing his actions were immune from legal challenges (this has since been annulled).

Interestingly though, Morsi is only beating Notch in terms of “Absolutely” votes; the Egyptian currently has 172,770 to Notch’s 155,658. If you work out the net difference after subtracting the “No Way” votes though, Notch is actually currently sitting in first place with +137,352.

It's Official: Karlie Kloss Is a Victoria's Secret Angel

By Justin Fenner

Karlie Kloss has finally gotten her wings. The model is now a bona fide Victoria’s Secret Angel, and she put her halo on display this week at the brand’s Secret Spring 2013 swim collection photocall in Los Angeles.

Kloss, flanked by veteran Angels Candice Swanepoel and Alessandra Ambrosio, posed for the cameras in a white knit top and a pink bikini. She also participated in this week’s #AskAnAngel Q-and-A session on Twitter, fielding fan’s questions about everything from her favorite actress (“I’m currently in love with Jennifer Lawrence,” she said) and her favorite colors to wear to the beach.

While Kloss has appeared in ads for Victoria’s Secret and walked in the brand’s annual fashion show not once, but twice, her official inclusion on the roster of Angels will doubtless mean big things for her career. Being an Angel is a little bit like a stairway to heaven in the modeling industry for a variety of reasons – not least of which is that Angels tend to be the highest-earning women in the business. On Forbes‘s list of the highest-paid models of 2012, six were current or former Angels.

Wear White Immediately — We’ll Show You How (PHOTOS)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

The old adage that wearing white before Memorial Day is declassé has gone the way of the dinosaur. There’s no reason that you can’t take a page from celebrities like Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried and Jennifer Lawrence, who all just donned white at the Oscars. All it takes is a few pieces to winterize your look.

It’s important to remember that white comes in different shades: you could try a cream-colored coat, an off-white cableknit sweater and eggshell leather pants. Our only tip? Carry that Tide pen for when your lunch misses your mouth. And these pieces are easy to transition to spring: Just lose the tights and the heavy shoes in exchange for sandals or ballet flats. The best part about wearing white after Labor Day is that it’s a nice surprise when everyone else is wearing black. What’s not to love?

Check out our take on wearing white in winter, as well as some tips on how to transition these outfits to spring:

Halle Berry in Talks for Days of Future Past

It sounds like we can cautiously add Halle Berry to the list of returning X-stars in Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Although it hasn’t been officially announced yet, Indie Wire says the actress will “most likely” be reprising her role as Storm in the upcoming comic book sequel — “practically 90 percent sure,” the report says. Negotiations are underway.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lawrence told E! Online that her makeup for Mystique will be getting an upgrade for the new film. Instead of full body paint, which reportedly caused her severe skin irritation on the set of First Class, she’ll be strapping on a body suit. “It will be from neck down so it will cut out time and the blisters,” she said.

Renee Zellweger Botox Speculations Rise At The Oscars (PHOTOS)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Renee Zellweger garnered a lot of attention on the Oscar red carpet last night. But it wasn’t her glimmering Carolina Herrera gown that seemed to grab people’s focus, but rather her face. Specifically, its lack of movement.

That’s right, the 43-year-old sparked Botox rumors with her seemingly ageless complexion at the Academy Awards. Twitter was abuzz with speculation, but our favorite commenter had to be fellow celeb Jesse Tyler Ferguson. The “Modern Family” star tweeted a very specific warning to Best Actress winner Jennifer Lawrence:

Watch Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence, And Naomi Watts React To The Boob Song

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Oscar host Seth MacFarlane’s boob song didn’t just irk normal women (and men) watching and tweeting angrily from their sofas; it made plenty of attendees uncomfortable too. If you aren’t sure whether it was terribly offensive or just Macfarlane being his normal raunchy self, just watch the reactions of the women whose breasts he sang about.

Another Oscar ceremony has come and gone. Expectations were met (Daniel Day-Lewis winning Best Actor) and there were some surprises (Ang Lee beating Steven Speilberg for Best Director).
