Walk Off: Is Rita Ora and Cara Delevingne's Friendship Over?

By Randy Miller

Another celebrity couple bites the dust? Cara Delevingne and “wifey” Rita Ora may have hit a rough patch, which is sad for them but also for us, who will no longer reap the benefit of their stylish and hilarious stream of Instagrams. From behind-the-scenes Fashion Week snaps to shots from inside the Met Gala, these BFFs-no-more gave us plenty to remember them by should this be the end of one of our favorite fashion duos.

These fashion punks got into the spirit in spikes and chains at the Met Gala.

Just hanging out backstage at Chanel – another ordinary day in Paris!

You can’t say these two weren’t characters.

This was truly a friendship for the ages.

Official: Smart shows production version of winged ForJeremy [w/video]

By Jonathon Ramsey

Filed under:

The SmartForJeremy is a reality, a limited run of the haute couture Smart Fortwo being announced at the Shanghai Motor Show. It has been toned down for production since we first saw it at last year’s LA Auto Show but its signature flourish, the wings, remain. Instead replacing the brake lights, though, a smaller set of red-accented wings sit above them. The white interior remains, though the KITT-style wheel has been swapped for a traditional unit.

A collaboration between Mercedes-Benz Cars Advanced Design Studios and Jeremy Scott, it will come in white with white wheels and alubeam accents outside and in. Production starts this month and there will be three powertrain options all in the coupe bodystyle: a standard 55kW Smart ForTwo Electric Drive for 34,800 euro ($45,416 US), a more powerful 60kW Brabus Electric Drive for 40,600 euro ($52,985 US) or a 102-horsepower gasoline-engined Brabus for 33,333 euro ($43,501 US).

It’s not for everyone, but if you want to live like it’s Fashion Week every week look no further. The press release and video below can tell you more about it.

How Made Is Helping the Bright Young Things in Paris

By Justin Fenner

Photo: Looks from Gareth Pugh‘s Fall 2013 show

New York has the CFDA Fashion Incubator, and London has Fashion East. But where do the up-and-coming designers of Paris go for assistance in getting noticed and staging shows? Increasingly, the answer is Made.

The program, which has been helping emerging designers by subsidizing the costs of their Fashion Week shows in New York since 2009, started staging shows in Paris during the Fall 2013 shows. Its three founders, Jenne Lombardo, Mazdack Rassi, and Keith Baptista, asked designers Gareth Pugh and Anthony Vaccarello to show at Hotel Salomon de Rothschild and then got 10 younger designers to show their collections there too. Yang Li, a 25-year-old designer from Beijing, made his Paris debut there.

“There’s no room in Paris for these young designers, and you can’t get around the city to save your life,” Lombardo said in an interview with Style.com. And although she also admitted that “it’s taken a few years for us to get the respect” of the Paris establishment, they’re hoping to continue to support the bright young things in the City of Light.

“We as partners in the program made a substantial investment in Paris,” Baptista said. “I think that everybody wishes us success; it’s a question of whether they’re willing to invest their own time and energy to help us succeed, and that’s where we have to kind of make a breakthrough.”

Tarnished Metallic Manicures At Michael Van Der Ham’s Fall 2013 Show (PHOTOS)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

I’m more than ready to lose these winter layers, but there is one area where I’ve had a change of heart about piling it on: my nails. Backstage at Fashion Week, manicurists were busy dressing up models’ nails in textured lace, matte and shiny nail polishes and beads, crystals and other elaborate accents mostly inspired by the collections.

CND co-founder Jan Arnold worked alongside the nail brand’s education ambassador Amanda Fontanarrosa to create distressed nail art for Michael van der Ham’s fall 2013 show. The deconstructed fabrics and metallic shades found in van der Ham’s designs worked seamlessly with the tarnished metallic manicures.

The 10 Most Buzzed-About Moments of New York Fashion Week

That’s because the most buzzworthy moments of the past eight days had nothing to do with clothes and everything to do with dancing, fluorescent pants, outlandish accessories, and elaborate set design. Fashion Week Doppelgangers: New York Coat Edition

By Christina Perez

It’s not usually ideal to turn up in the same outfit as someone else, but when it comes to the streets of Fashion Week, it’s bound to happen – especially when the outfits in question contain the must-have pieces of the season. This Week's Top 10 – The Looks You Didn't See at Fashion Week

By Hannah Weil

If you’re fully immersed in Fashion Week, we can hardly blame you – but we’d be remiss not to mention the A-listers who showed off their style prowess beyond the tents.
