Director David O. Russell reunites with two of his stars from The Fighter, Oscar winner Christian Bale and Amy Adams, for American Hustle, which also stars Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and Robert De Niro (all of whom previously worked with Russell on Silver Linings Playbook). Jeremy Renner rounds out the star-studded ensemble.

The crime flick (set against the backdrop of the ABSCAM case) has an especially Scorsese-esque vibe to it, wouldn’t you agree?

By The Huffington Post News Editors

A site that juxtaposes handsome men with cute kittens is going viral.

We just have one question: Why did it take so long for someone to come up with this?

Featuring furry felines emulating the poses of male models, dancers and celebs like David Beckham, Bradley Cooper and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, ‘Des Hommes et des Chatons‘ is pure genius:

Jimmy Kimmel Parodies Avengers, Twilight

Having delivered the star studded Movie: The Movie parody last year for the Oscars, Jimmy Kimmel returned with the sequel last night, Movie: The Movie: 2V.

Check out Jessica Chastain, Matt Damon, Gerard Butler, Bryan Cranston, John Krasinski, Kerry Washington, Bradley Cooper and many more – in a story that has an Avengers-inspired group of movie cliché characters battle a Twilight-fueled group of sexy monsters.

Though I have to say, the first one was better…

Academy Awards Winners List 2013: Winners From The 85th Annual Oscars

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Ben Affleck, Anne Hathaway, Daniel Day-Lewis, Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain, Bradley Cooper and more stars celebrated Hollywood’s biggest night on Feb. 24 at the Oscars. (An Academy Awards winners list for 2013 can be found below.)

Hosted by Seth MacFarlane (“Ted”), the 85th annual Academy Awards included a wide array of box office hits. For the first time ever, the Best Picture category included six films with grosses over $100 million, including “Argo,” “Django Unchained,” “Les Miserables,” “Life of Pi,” “Lincoln” and “Silver Linings Playbook.” “Zero Dark Thirty,” another Best Picture nominee, was in striking distance of nine figures as well. (The other Best Picture nominees, “Amour” and “Beasts of the Southern Wild,” were limited releases.)

The history making didn’t end there. The Oscars 2013 ceremony also included opportunities for Day-Lewis and Affleck to enter the record books. Day-Lewis, nominated for “Lincoln,” won his third Best Actor Oscar, an Academy Awards record. Affleck, meanwhile, became only the fourth director in the 85-year history of the Academy Awards to see his film win Best Picture without a subsequent nomination for Best Director. (The last time this happened was at the 1990 ceremony when “Driving Miss Daisy” won.)

Indie Spirit Awards 2013: ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ vs. ‘Beasts Of The Southern Wild’ (PHOTOS)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

The Independent Spirit Awards are stereotyped as a drunken, casual, beachside soiree that takes place the day before the classy people step out for the Academy Awards. Hosted this year by ‘SNL‘ funnyman Andy Samberg, who described the event as “the only show watched by more people in the room than on TV,” the Spirit Awards lived up to its raunchy reputation.

Amy Poehler was on camera drinking directly from a large bottle of wine at her table, while John Hawkes stood up and threatened to drop his pants to the floor. Samberg worked his way through a plethora of penis jokes -– most notably observing that there has been a “real lack of on-screen d*ck in films this year. Everyone got d*ck shy.”

Samberg went on to roast Hollywood in general with the catchphrase of the day: “F*ck you, Hollywood.” He continued dryly, “you can take your ‘Hangovers’ and ‘Hunger Games‘ and shove it up your ass. You know what I’m talking about, Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence,” he joked.

The Oscar NEEDS to go to Daniel Day Lewis

OK, SO, I just saw the best actor Oscar nominees and I just had to get this off my chest: (and no, its NOT A TUMOR. lol Kindergarten Cop.)

How is anybody going to beat Daniel Day Lewis as Lincoln? Seriously. How!? He played a REAL PERSON.

Who was Bradley Cooper supposed to be? Some fictional dude named Mike or whatever?

How can you tell how good of an actor somebody is, if the person he's playing isn't ACTUAL? Like, I know Daniel Day Lewis looked like Abraham Lincoln so I know he acted good…

Bradley Cooper looked like… himself i guess? And acted like… a fictional guy?

Know what I mean?

Does Bradley Cooper Want to Play Lance Armstrong?

So is Bradley Cooper in the running to play cyclist Lance Armstrong, or isn’t he? From the sounds of it he is, but it’s been a confusing few days.

First J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot announced they were teaming up with Paramount Pictures to purchase the rights to forthcoming book Cycle of Lies: The Fall and Rise of Lance Armstrong by New York Times journalist Juliet Macur, with a view to filming it.

Then when quizzed about the project last week, Cooper told the BBC: “I would be interested in that. I think he’s fascinating. What a fascinating character.”
