Kris Humphries Divorce From Kim Kardashian Official Nearly A Year And A Half After Filing

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Nearly a year and a half after filing to divorce Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian is officially single, according to TMZ

TMZ reports that NBA star Humphries dropped his request for an annulment based on fraud, which had been holding up divorce proceedings. He reportedly will receive no money from Kardashian, according to the terms of their prenuptial agreement.

Kardashian filed for divorce in October 2011, just 72 days after her August 2011 wedding — estimated to cost $10 million — which was broadcast in a 2-day, 4-hour special on E!.

Kim Kardashian’s Ugly Crying Face Featured On iPhone Case (PHOTO)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

We love a good ugly cry — especially when it’s Kim Kardashian who’s shedding the tears.

Sure, it’s a rare person who looks attractive when the waterworks come on, but if seven seasons of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” have taught us anything, it’s that the 32-year-old reality star has a tendency to look a little less than perfect when crying. Who could forget the mascara-stained tears that rolled down her face when she admitted that her marriage to Kris Humphries hit the skids?

And now, that infamous divorce breakdown is immortalized in the form of an iPhone case for sale on Amazon.com:

Competition Gets Pantsed by Kmart

By Rich Duprey, The Motley Fool

Filed under:

I’ll admit that when it comes to Sears Holdings , I’m not a big fan of the company. I see its death spiral as a slow, painful one for investors. It’s too bad a new marketing campaign for its new Kmart shipping services isn’t the norm, because it’s the type of promo that makes the once venerable retailer seem relevant again.

Laden with innuendo, Kmart’s “Ship My Pants” commercial highlighting the ability of shoppers to get items shipped for free from the company’s website if it can’t be found in stores is actually a pretty funny spot. It’s gone viral, too, serving up more than 5 million hits at this writing, even though it was posted to YouTube just last week.

One actor remarks how excited he is that he can “ship my pants,” while a woman notes that she “shipped my drawers” and a third person can’t believe he “shipped my bed.”

It’s the kind of advertising that’s fresh, despite being tinged with bawdiness. Contrast that with an out-of-touch and out-of-fashion decision by Sears to launch clothing lines by pop stars Nicki Minaj and Adam Levine — an all too reminiscent retread of its Kim Kardashian clothing line — and you have to give them props for going a different route here.

Not that the actual service Kmart is providing is unique, mind you. Wal-Mart offers a free ship-to-store feature, as do J.C. PenneyRadio Shack, Toys R Us, Nordstrom , and a number of other retailers. Actually, so committed to customer service is Nordstrom that it’s even had employees drive items to a customer’s house at no charge to ensure they get it.

Yet the service does set Kmart apart from some of its top rivals, such as Target , which offers only a standard free shipping option if you use your Target credit card for the purchase. Macy’s doesn’t offer it at all.

Yet for those that do provide a free ship-to-store option, Kmart has separated itself by promoting it in a fun, memorable way. But let’s see just how many customers decide to avail themselves of the opportunity and whether it can have an impact on a steadily declining retail base. As the Pets.com sock puppet made clear, a clever advertising campaign doesn’t always translate into sales.

Out of stock
J.C. Penney’s stock cratered under Ron Johnson‘s leadership, but could new CEO Mike Ullman present the opportunity investors have been waiting for? If you’re wondering whether J.C. Penney is a buy today, you’re invited to claim a copy of The Motley Fool’s must-read report on the company. Learn everything you need to know about Penney’s turnaround — or lack thereof. Cindy Crawford revealed one of the most awesome photos on Twitter this week: a group of amazing supermodels decked out in vintage Spice Girls clothes! Bette Midler also decided to make a great statement on all the Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian pregnancy hoopla. @90sgirlproblem made a proclamation that fits our nineties fashion trends post perfectly.

Nicola Formichetti Leaves Thierry Mugler After Tweeting About ‘Big Announcements’

By The Huffington Post News Editors

If you thought designer musical chairs had come to a halt, think again: Nicola Formichetti has left Thierry Mugler.

After two years on the job, Formichetti has decided to part ways with Mugler after reaching a “mutual agreement” with the brand, Women’s Wear Daily reports. The designer has become known not only for his celebrity best friends like Lady Gaga (who’s walked the Mugler runway) and Kim Kardashian, but also for the success he brought to the fashion house.

After Nicolas Ghesquière and Stefano Pilato‘s unceremonious departures from their respective design gigs, we’re a little curious to know why Formichetti would leave Mugler. Does he have bigger and better things in the works? Will he become a full-time fashion editor now? Was he fired? The 35-year-old only offered us a cryptic hint on Twitter yesterday, tweeting, “Big announcements coming this week!!”

Snooki Gives Kim Kardashian Advice For Giving Birth In Style (VIDEO)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

We wouldn’t recommend taking advice from Snooki when it comes to, well, most things. But when the erstwhile “Jersey Shore” star decided to offer up some words of wisdom to Kim Kardashian, we were more than willing to eavesdrop — out of sheer curiosity, of course.

Addressing the pregnant star in her capacity as Celebrity Baby Correspondent for Celebuzz (looks like she’s found a second career?), Snooki dishes about “how to look glam during labor — because it’s a bitch.”

“If your face isn’t already made up when your water breaks,” new mom Snooki says in the Celebuzz video, “you have plenty of time to do it in the hospital when you’re waiting to dilate.” Yippee! Just make sure to choose your color palette wisely, she says, seeing as hospital lighting and decor is totally drab.

Kris Humphries Wooed Lindsey Vonn Before Tiger Came Along?

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Did Tiger Woods steal Kris Humphries‘ girl?

According to a new report in the latest print issue of Us Weekly, Humphries had been wooing skier Lindsey Vonn when the pro golfer came along and swept her off her feet.

“Woods wasn’t Vonn’s only suitor,” a source close to Vonn reportedly told the magazine. “Bachelor No. 2 was none other than Kim Kardashian ex Kris Humphries.” The source added, however, that the pair’s relationship had likely not been “physical.”

‘I Am A God’: Kanye West Song Name Mistaken For Album Title In Earlier Reports

By The Huffington Post News Editors

The internet had a field day Tuesday with reports that Kanye West was working on an album titled “I Am God,” a rumor that seemed to originate from a parenthetical in a BBC post about what West and Kim Kardashian may name their child (apparently “North” is a name that’s in the running).

Given West‘s habit of being outspoken (and a Rolling Stone cover in which he posed in a crown of thorns), many sites were eager to run with the unattributed factoid. The only problem is that that rumor appears to be a bit of a misunderstanding. A reliable source in West’s camp tells HuffPost Entertainment that the title is actual for an upcoming single, and that the album’s name has yet to be set. The track will be called “I Am A God” (emphasis added).

“We would never be so presumptuous or sacrilegious to call ourselves the supreme being,” the source said. While everyone will have to wait for the actual song to parse the specifics of the song’s message, the source hinted that the idea was generally that all people are manifestations of a higher power.

Kris Humphries, Lamar Odom Battle It Out On The Court (PHOTO)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Talk about awkward.

Kris Humphries literally bumped into his former brother-in-law Lamar Odom on the basketball court Saturday (March 23) as the Brooklyn Nets took on the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center in L.A.

Technically, the two are still family, considering Humphries’ divorce from ex-wife Kim Kardashian hasn’t been finalized. Odom is married to Khloe Kardashian, who tweeted during the game:

Katy Perry’s Bra Top At Kids’ Choice Awards Shows John Mayer What He’s Missing (PHOTOS)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Katy Perry may be fresh off the heels of her recent split from John Mayer, but that doesn’t mean she’s lost her style game. The star even managed to show her ex-beau what he’s missing at the Kids’ Choice Awards last night.

For the Nickelodeon award show, Katy opted for a sleek bra top and skirt by Hervé Léger by Max Azria — talk about a head-turning look. While everyone from Miley Cyrus to Kim Kardashian have tried the risqué cropped style, we think the “Wide Awake” singer really nailed it with the fun print, matching nails and minimal accessories.

It didn’t hurt that Katy seemed to be enjoying herself, goofing around with fellow musicians Selena Gomez and Fergie (notice her baby bump?). Plus, she snagged the Favorite Female Singer honor. Eat your heart out, John.
