Notebook: Bulls 142, Nets 134

THE FACTS: In a game that lasted just under four hours (3:57), the host Chicago Bulls outlasted the Brooklyn Nets 142-134 in three overtimes Saturday to take a 3-1 lead in their best-of-seven first round playoff series. With the Bulls trailing by 14 points with 2:53 left in regulation, Bulls guard Nate Robinson scored 12 consecutive points, then had the assist on the game-tying basket by Carlos Boozer to create the tight game late. Robinson, who fouled out with 1:03 left in the second overtime, led all scorers with 34 points, 23 of them in the fourth quarter. Deron Williams led the Nets with 32 points and 10 assists but scored just two points in 15 minutes of overtime.

Bulls' Noah says foot 'fine,' will play in Game 2

Bulls: Rose not likely to return in playoffs

Notebook: Raptors 93, Nets 87

THE FACTS: The Toronto Raptors (32-48) defeated the Brooklyn Nets (47-33) 93-87 to win their third game in a row and the fifth of their last six games to avoid a season sweep. Toronto led wire-to-wire and gained as much as a 21-point lead, but had some trouble late in the game, but DeMar DeRozan falling one point short of his career-high willed his squad with 36 points and five rebounds. Rudy Gay‘s double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds and Amir Johnson‘s 10 points and nine rebounds complimented the attack as the Raptors defeated their second playoff-bound opponent in a row.

Notebook: Nets 101, Celtics 93

THE FACTS: Deron Williams had a game-high 29 points and 12 assists, as the Brooklyn Nets earned a road season sweep of the Boston Celtics with a 101-93 victory. Brook Lopez added 21 points, while Joe Johnson chipped in with 20 in the balanced offensive effort for the visitors, which helped Brooklyn build and maintain a double-digit lead for nearly the entire second half. Paul Pierce had 23 points in the loss, hurting Boston’s chances at moving up in the Eastern Conference standings before the postseason. With the win, Brooklyn takes the season series 3-1 over Boston.

MADISON, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Pfizer Consumer Healthcare (NYS: PFE) , makers of Advil®, is kicking off its Advil® Relief in Action campaign today that honors volunteers who don’t let pain get in the way of providing relief to others in need. Advil® Relief in Action celebrates the efforts of these tireless everyday heroes, as well as supports and contributes to the efforts of Habitat for Humanity and Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP), whose volunteers exemplify Relief in Action and work to improve the lives of others every day.
