Bette Midler also decided to make a great statement on all the Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian pregnancy hoopla. @90sgirlproblem made a proclamation that fits our nineties fashion trends post perfectly.

This week was also hilarious in the Twittersphere — maybe the nicer weather has put people in good spirits. Whatever the reason, Michael Carl at Vanity Fair had us LOL‘ing twice, RuPaul gave us a helpful runway tip and Man Repeller and John Jannuzzi questioned some men’s habits.

Audubon Society Gala Honors Louis Bacon, Bette Midler Sings Birdie Tunes

On January 17, at the Plaza Hotel in New York, billionaire hedge fund manager Louis Bacon was spotted among the crowd of 560 singing along to a raft of bird-themed numbers belted by Bette Midler, a.k.a. the Divine Miss M. Among the tunes: “Skylark,” “When the Red, Red Robin Comes Bob, Bob, Bobbin’ Along” and, of course, “Wind Beneath My Wings.” Bacon had good reason to feel elated.
