LOS ANGELES — Katy Perry hasn’t been doing so well in the romance department lately — bye-bye John Mayer. But the singer-songwriter is stepping up her game to rid herself of reminders of her recent romantic past.
Perry has listed the Mediterranean home that she and then-husband Russell Brand bought from National Lampoon magazine executive Daniel Laikin in 2011, according to Realtor.com. The home is listed at $6.925 million; the singer bought the estate, which she never occupied, for $6.5 million.
The three-story Spanish-style estate spans 8,830 square feet of living space and sits on a three-acre property in the Sunset Strip area. It has a four-room master suite, a lagoon-like swimming pool and the listing describes the main house as having “fortress-security.”
