Zelda Gets Horrifying Nic Cage Makeover

An… inventive pair of modders have altered The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask to make almost everything into Nicolas Cage‘s face.

“After months of uncomfortable work, the Nicolas Cage texture pack for Majora’s Mask is finally finished,” says YouTube user Criken2, one of the two modders behind this monstrosity. “Why make this you may ask? I wish I had an answer for you. The truth is co-modder Shayne and I lost the luxury of free will as soon as we began working on this project. We had no goal, only Cage.”

If you want to see Link, Epona, Skull Kid and more terrifyingly face-merged with Nic Cage, the video is below.

Nic Cage on Returning for Ghost Rider 3

Oscar winner Nicolas Cage was recently asked about the possibility of kickin’ tires and lightin’ fires on a third Ghost Rider movie. However, for now, it sounds like the actor is burnt out on Johnny Blaze.

“It’s possible, but it won’t be with me,” Cage told Collider on returning for a potential Ghost Rider 3. “I’ve said what I have to say. I don’t want to say never… anything’s possible. But I doubt, highly, that I would be in a third installment of that.”

While Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance was by no means considered a wild success, it did pull in a worldwide gross of $132 million before home video sales. And with a reported budget of $47 million, a third film isn’t entirely outside the realm of possibility.

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Watch his pretty acoustic rendition in the video above.

After hearing a slew of other “I Knew You Were Trouble” remixes over the past few weeks, including one with goat sounds and Nicolas Cage screaming, we have to say that Ed’s is an easy winner for best cover we’ve heard yet.

Director Discusses Doctor Strange Movie

Roman Coppola has been discussing his efforts to make a Doctor Strange movie, stating that he’d be “delighted to take a shot” at the property.

The director previously wanted to cast cousin Nicolas Cage in the title role, and even spoke with Stan Lee about the project, but that effort never got off the ground.

He could yet have his chance however, with Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige recently announcing that the Sorcerer Supreme will be getting his own movie in the studio’s next wave of films.

But Coppola is now worried about the sheer number of superhero movies out there at present.

The Lost Nic Cage Superman Movie

Director/Producer Jon Schnepp (Metalocalypse, Grimm’s Fairy Tales and The ABC’s of Death) has launched a Kickstarter campaign to finance his documentary about Tim Burton‘s doomed comic book movie: Superman Lives. The documentary would look at the death of what Schnepp contends would have been the most original, and strangest, version of Superman ever to grace the silver screen.

Here is a snapshot: Tim Burton directs Nicolas Cage as Superman from a script by Kevin Smith that features rainbow robot outfits, Brainiac Skull ships, Superman not “flying” but fighting a giant spider and polar bears guarding the Fortress of Solitude.

US: Arms dealer's associate arrested in Australia

A U.S. prosecutor says an associate of a notorious Russian arms dealer has been arrested in Australia.

U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara announced Thursday in New York that Syrian-born American Richard Ammar Chichakli is in custody.

He was arrested Wednesday on charges that he conspired with Viktor Bout (boot) and others to try to buy aircraft from two companies in the United States. The prosecutor says such a purchase would violate economic sanctions.

Bout is a former Soviet air officer. He was dubbed the “Merchant of Death” because of his 1990s-era notoriety for running a fleet of aging Soviet-era cargo planes to conflict-ridden hotspots in Africa. He also inspired the arms-dealer character played by Nicolas Cage in the 2005 film “Lord of War.”

Bout was sentenced last year to 25 years in prison.
