Who is Ed Mezvinsky? He’s Chelsea Clinton’s father-in law.

Ed Mezvinsky

Who is Ed Mezvinsky?…

Edward “Ed” Mezvinsky born January 17, 1937, is a former Democrat congressman.

As a Democrat, he represented Iowa ‘s 1st congressional district in the United States House of Representatives for two terms,

from 1973 to 1977.

He sat on the House Judiciary Committee that decided the fate of Richard Nixon.

He and the Clinton’s were very politically intertwined for years.

In March 2001, Mezvinsky was indicted and later pleaded guilty to 31 of 69 charges of bank fraud, mail fraud, and wire fraud.

He was sentenced to 80 months in (Federal) prison.

Ed Mezvinsky embezzled more than $10 million dollars from people via both a Ponzi scheme and the notorious Nigerian e-mail scams.

After serving five years in federal prison, he was released in April 2008.  He remained on federal probation through 2011,

and still owes $9.4 million in restitution to his victims.

So who is he?

Marc and Chelsea Mezvinsky

He’s Chelsea Clinton’s father-in law.

Has anyone heard mention of this in any of the media?

If this guy was Jenna or Barbara Bush’s, or better yet, Sarah Palin’s daughter’s, father-in- law, the news would be an everyday headline.

The Left Would Hate Jackie Robinson Today…

By Dr. Kevin "Coach" Collins

Democrats don’t ever tell the truth about their shared history with African Americans. They will never admit that the Confederacy was formed by Democrats intent on keeping their ancestors locked on plantations as slaves. They will never admit that the Klu Klux Klan was formed and populated by Democrats who had been members of the Confederate Army.  They have lied about which Party was home to some of the worst bigots in American history.

Black conservative writer K. Carl Smith summed these lies up with: “When I grew up in Alabama, I thought George Wallace was a Republican. I thought Bull Connor was a Republican. I believed the people that bombed the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Ala., were part of the Republican Party…..  all of the things I believed to be true I found it was a lie.”

Last Friday, the new movie “42” referring to Jackie Robinson’s uniform number was released. It is apparently a stirring tale of how a black American named Jack Roosevelt Robinson, who had the skill and courage necessary to pull it off, broke the color barrier and played baseball for the Brooklyn Dodgers.

What is certain is that the Hollywood version of the Jackie Robinson story will not tell us about his life as a Republican activist after baseball. It will not touch on the strongly-held  Republican beliefs of Branch Rickey, the man who signed Robinson to play baseball for the  Dodgers, ironically played by leading Hollywood liberal Harrison Ford.  Nor will it mention that it was not until in 1959,  twelve years after Robinson was first at bat, that Boston (a bastion of phony liberalism) became the very last city to put a black man (Pumpsie Green) on its baseball field.

Jackie Robinson’s post-baseball years are just another story about black people the Democrats and their lap dog media ignore because it doesn’t fit the tapestry of lies they need their plantation hands to hear and believe.

The Democrats want the “truth” to be: “Yes Robinson had these wired un-politically correct conservative thoughts, but in 1960 when he saw Richard Nixon refuse to campaign in Harlem he was cleansed of them.” Nevertheless, Robinson’s autobiography strongly suggests otherwise. He was impressed with the enormous sums of money that white Republican Nelson Rockefeller’s family had given to support black colleges (Spellman College, which is today a leading anti-Republican nest, was founded by John D. Rockefeller and named for his mother.) Robinson liked a certain brand of Republicanism. He was a Rockefeller Republican, but a Republican nonetheless.

In order to campaign for Nelson Rockefeller in 1964, Robinson gave up a well- paying, very secure  job as a spokesman for Chock Full O’Nuts coffee company. Yet who could deny that if Jackie Robinson was alive today he would be mocked and reviled by the creeps at MSNBC because his political beliefs would not fit the plantation field-hand mentality they demand from blacks?  Number 42 would be just another Uncle Tom to them.

Even in death, Thatcher draws scorn from some

While some Britons mourned the passing of Margaret Thatcher, others raised glasses of champagne in impromptu street parties. And Judy Garland’s song “Ding Dong! The Witch is Dead” is surging up the UK singles charts.

A Guardian newspaper cartoon depicted Thatcher descending into hell, the Socialist Worker front page said “Rejoice,” and a movie marquee was rearranged to read: “Margaret Thatchers Dead LOL.”

Many societies soften their take on divisive leaders as they age — notably the United States, where even unpopular presidents are warmly eulogized in death — but emotions in Britain are as raw as they were when the Iron Lady was in power.

Yes, Thatcher was an unusually divisive figure blamed by many for crippling Britain’s labor unions and sabotaging workers’ rights, but the willingness of small groups of Britons to publicly mock a longtime national leader hours after her death reflects a British contempt for power and its practitioners that many believe stands in contrast to attitudes in the United States.

There were no similar scenes of jubilation after the 1994 death of Richard Nixon, a polarizing figure who is the only U.S. president to resign from office, said Robert McGeehan, an associate fellow at the Institute for the Study of Americas.

“This really shows the dissimilarity between the two countries,” said McGeehan, a dual national who worked with Thatcher in academia after she left office. “One does not recall, with the passing of controversial figures in the U.S., anything remotely resembling the really crude approach we’ve seen over here,” he said. “There is a class ingredient here that we simply don’t have in America. They like to perpetuate this; the bitterness goes from father to son.”

In contrast, he said, Nixon — disgraced by the Watergate scandal and facing impeachment — eventually rehabilitated his public image and was treated as a respected elder statesmen by the time of his death.

There are key differences between the two political systems, despite their common roots. In Britain, the prime minister is not the head of state — a position filled by the monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, who is also the head of the Church of England — while in the U.S. the president fills the dual role as head of state and commander-in-chief of the armed forces.

Video: Barack Obama’s Impeachable Offense

By Kris Zane

Reading the headlines the past few weeks has been like a page out of the book of Revelation. Barack Obama riding on his red horse has been foretelling a literal Armageddon if the so-called “draconian” sequestration cuts go into effect.

But Armageddon turned into Chicago’s cutthroat streets with Obama’s Al Capone-like thugs shaking down enemies when pundits, politicians, and journalists began to show that Obama as John the Baptist crying in the wilderness was really the boy crying wolf.

That the sequestration amounted to about two percent of the budget, that the “draconian” sequestration cuts were Obama’s idea. That it was all a sham to get another tax hike on the “fat cat millionaires and billionaires.”

Of course, the leftist media easily spun the narrative for Obama, blaming those evil Republicans.

At least until journalistic giant Bob Woodward came on the scene, setting the record straight. It was hard to argue against Woodward’s facts, given that he had written an entire book, The Price of Politics, describing the whole sequestration debacle.

So the Obama White House did what they do best: the shakedown.

Obama minion and thug Gene Sperling sent Woodward a threatening email, basically telling him to keep his mouth shut:

But I do truly believe you should rethink your comment about saying saying that Potus asking for revenues is moving the goal post. I know you may not believe this, but as a friend, I think you will regret staking out that claim.

Team Obama’s mistake was that they weren’t dealing with one of their hacks in the mainstream media. This was the man who had brought down Richard Nixon. This was the man who, as the mainstream media began to drink Obama’s Kool-Aid, remained at the water cooler of real journalism.

And he began to sing like a canary. First on CNN. Then on Fox. Then, well, his words were beamed as millions of ones and zeros over the Internet, and Team Obama and the Left did the only thing that was left: mockery.

This was exemplified with Obama henchman David Plouffe’s tweet that Woodward’s statements were merely rantings of a senile old man. And the Left parroted this narrative ad nauseam. Woodward was washed up. Put him out to pasture. Nothing to see here, move on. Give Woodward a teaspoon of Geritol and wheel him out onto the patio.

Except then came Lanny Davis, former Bill Clinton special counsel who had been writing a column for the Washington Times. He too received the shakedown treatment from Team Obama.

Then the wheels began to fall off the sequestration bus.

The media began to turn on Obama.

Arne Duncan, Obama’s Education Secretary, was caught in a lie about the sequestration resulting in “thousands of teacher layoffs,” which was a total fabrication.

But this was only the innocuous part of Obama’s spin machine.

Beneath the surface, there was simmering what can only be called treason.

Barack Obama, putting politics above his primary duty as Commander-in-Chief—that of protecting it’s citizens—pulled the aircraft carrier <a target=_blank target="_blank" …read more

Rex Scouten, former White House chief usher, dies

Rex Scouten, who served 10 first families as a Secret Service agent, White House chief usher and chief curator, has died.

The Richard Nixon Foundation says Scouten, who lived in Fairfax, Va., died Wednesday at a local hospital. He was 88.

Scouten’s career began during Harry S. Truman’s administration and continued through Bill Clinton‘s presidency. Scouten guarded Truman for four years, then became part of the first Secret Service detail assigned to a vice president with Richard Nixon.

In 1969, Scouten became chief usher, a position he held until 1986. He briefly retired, only to return as White House curator at President Ronald Reagan‘s request. He left that job in 1997.

The Reagans’ dog was named Rex in honor of Scouten.

Video: Are You On Obama’s Enemies List?

By Kris Zane

All presidents have an enemies list: some columnist at a newspaper, a donor to their opponent, a political cartoonist that depicts them as a buffoon.

But Richard Nixon took the “Enemies List” concept to a new level, not only identifying an enemy, but using the power of the State to punish them: using bureaucratic and law enforcement bodies to investigate, harass, audit, and even arrest them.

Barack Obama, however, has taken this enemies list concept to a new level.

Gone are the days of Richard Nixon when this enemies list is locked in a drawer in the Oval Office, consisting of a few hundred names.

Barack Obama’s enemies list contains not hundreds, but thousands, perhaps tens of thousands of names.

Conservative giant and bestselling author Floyd G. Brown in his blockbuster book,  Obama’s Enemies List: How Barack Obama Intimidated America and Stole the Election, describes an actual mammoth list of Obama’s political enemies, with bio info, opposition research, and even unsealed court records

Floyd Brown, through his penchant for investigative journalism, sheds light on a President so corrupt that it isn’t simply some mega donor that Obama vilifies and attacks—typified in Obama’s attack of Romney donor Frank VanderSloot, CEO of Idaho Falls wellness-products company Melaleuca. Obama used the power of the IRS to harass him, had private investigators combing through sealed court records, and even had them harass and stalk his family.

But now it’s the “little guy” also. The blogger who runs a small website critical of Obama. A restaurant owner whodeclines to comply with one of Obama’s photo ops. A small business owner who tells her employees she has to cut staff because of ObamaCare.

You may think that being on Obama’s enemies list is something that happens to other people. But as Obama’s power expands, his enemies list will expand also; and you may find yourself and your family feeling the brunt of his minions.

What are we to do?

When you’re in a war, the best preparation is to know your enemy.

And that is why everyone who considers themselves a conservative and everyone who is against tyranny should buy Floyd Brown’s book.

Now.

Before it’s too late.
