On Thursday, Huma Abedin had been flogged across the airwaves by the MSM as being “intelligent,” “delicate,” “brave” and was lauded for “standing by her man.” The degenerate Anthony Weiner had “made a mistake.” Several, actually. Why the deafening cacophony of praise? Because Abedin and the State Department are under Senate investigation and MSM is trying to deflect damaging public scrutiny of Abedin/Hillary/State Department wrongdoing.

If the investigation sinks Abedin, it might also derail a potential presidential run by Hillary Clinton in 2016. Abedin and Hillary are indiscrete in more ways than one.

According to FOX News “Abedin is facing her own troubles — less salacious than her husband’s, but potentially more severe.”

Abedin was Hillary Clinton’s deputy chief of staff at the State Department. The title changed, according to Politico, when Abedin took maternity leave during the summer of 2012. Clinton awarded her bosom buddy of 15 years the title of “special government employee.”

Abedin’s part-time labors on behalf of the State Department netted her an annual salary of $135,000 — $155,000 with benefits. The status change was kept secret. It was unearthed by The Politico in May, 2013. Being a “special government employee” gave Abedin plenty of time with her new family but it also permitted Abedin to pursue other, more lucrative jobs while on the government payroll.

The MSM is no longer the only propaganda machine for the Obama regime. With the demise of the restriction on propaganda, broadcasting to citizens from our own government has been repealed. The Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012, buried deep within the last National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for 2013, now allows our dissembler-in-chief to broadcast propaganda directly to American citizens.

It went live on July 2nd. This will be a day that will demarcate the death of the Republic as Obama can now move forward with whatever agenda he wishes and will not have to worry about what the MSM says, does, or broadcasts; he has his own taxpayer-funded machine.

This can only inflame an already disquieted population and proves beyond a shadow of doubt the complicity of Congress with his agenda. It follows that this latest piece of legislation fits nicely with the IRS, NSA, and DOJ initiatives to stifle all opposition to the Obama agenda and can be used to shape public opinion that is turning decidedly oppressive, dictatorial, and capricious.

Curious that this law took effect shortly after all these scandals came to light, with even the MSM reporting on them? This is a wholesale abrogation of our founding principles as found in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution (and can only further the goals of tyranny.)

What Difference Does It Make…?

Author’s Note – I began my most recent post with the following:

“I never imagined that I’d find myself quoting Bill’s one-time heart throb (okay, eons of time ago), but using her just happens to suit my purpose. (Guess Bill and I aren’t so different after all….)”


Due to an inadvertent title change (the title was to have been the same as this one’s), readers were no doubt puzzled by this. Hopefully, this will clear things up.


Anyone who registers even the faintest EKG response realizes that the “Mainstream Media” isn’t mainstream. So if you felt your not insignificant intelligence was being insulted…and therefore didn’t dive headlong into the piece, I’d ask you to reconsider, as I believe our perception of the establishment media (which almost no one in this audience either reads or watches) is at the very root of all that ails us…and I mean that with absolute sincerity!


Note that I did not say that the endangered media is the problem, but that our perception of it is. Hear me out….


Every national Conservative pundit I know, with the exception of Rush Limbaugh (who has famously – and accurately – dubbed them the “Drive-by” or “Endangered Media”), Michael Savage, and Joseph Farah (who both refer to them as the “so-called ‘mainstream’ media”), mindlessly refers to them as the “mainstream” or “MSM” – freely bestowing upon them the highest of both compliments and credibility!


Would we have called the Communists’ Pravda (far more conservative today than our own state-controlled press!) the Soviet Union’s “mainstream” media? Of course not! It was nothing more than a state-owned organ of propaganda…and while George Soros may not own the New York Times outright (or even in part), it is clear that he, his allies, and his pawns are in lockstep with its entire agenda. (Obviously everything I have said about the networks applies to the so-called “Newspaper of Record,” as well as to its counterparts from coast to coast – whose viewership and coffers are also universally, and happily, “on the brink.”)


To put this in perspective I will recount an experience I had last spring, when AZ State Representative Carl Seel took me by to introduce me to then Speaker of the House, Andy Tobin. It was a Friday afternoon, perhaps 2:00 or 3:00, and the Speaker had gone for the week, as it turned out. His secretary dutifully wrote down my name and phone number, however, promising to have him call me…which, of course, he never did. I knew little about the Speaker at that time, but have since learned all I need to know: he’s a “Republican” – not a Conservative, and a “politician” – not a Statesman, as best I can tell. (It’s difficult, of course, to know any of our “representatives” well when they refuse to respond to their constituents!

Mikhail Prokorov (shown) may not yet be a household name in America, but he is quickly becoming one. The 47-year-old Russian billionaire playboy received a big boost in that direction with a March 25 adulatory cover story provided courtesy of Forbes magazine. The most flamboyant and best-known of Russia’s super-rich oligarchs, Prokhorov has already established his presence in the U.S. sports world as owner of the Brooklyn Nets (formerly the New Jersey Nets) NBA franchise. For the past several years he has courted the media, Wall Street, and pop celebrities. He has taken on hip-hop mogul Jay-Z as a minority share partner in the Nets and can count the famous rapper and his wife, superstar Beyonce, in his entourage.

Prokhorov, a 6-foot-8-inch extreme athlete, is the owner of two opulent super yachts, one of which, the Solemar, cost a reported $45 million. When he’s in New York, he stays in the penthouse suite atop the Four Seasons Hotel. Price: $35,000 per night. This is the kind of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous stuff that is irresistible to the paparazzi and the celebrity-chasing media. However, none of the investigative reporters or editorialists of the supposedly serious MSM or alternative media has bothered to do any in-depth checkup on this “charming” tycoon who is taking America by storm and is touted as a top contender to be the next president of Russia.

“We are in the process of building a real, strong, powerful party called the Civic Platform. That’s what I do all day,” says Prokhorov in the Forbes cover story by Ukrainian journalist Katya Soldak.

Prokhorov made a trial run for the presidency in 2012, even though it was a foregone conclusion that Vladimir Putin had an iron-clad lock on the completely controlled game. While the youthful magnate postures as “the alternative” to the oppressive Putin regime, he is close to Putin and is clearly an instrument of the KGB/FSB that controls Russia’s political and economic destiny. As we reported in 2009, (“Dangerous Connections: NBA and the KGB”) Prokhorov and his fellow Russian oligarchs “did not become billionaires virtually overnight because of their business acumen and financial genius. They were provided with special privileges and massive state assets to serve a strategic political agenda.”

They have been entrusted, as we noted, with “The Party’s Gold,” and must use it according to the dictates of the Kremlin or end up dead or in jail, like many of his erstwhile high-rolling oligarch confrères.

Nullification: A State’s Right

What exactly is nullification? We generally hear the term when a jury decides to nullify a criminal prosecution by acquitting an obviously guilty defendant. Most prominently the O.J. Simpson verdict probably typifies the term. Nullification is now a growing topic in states moving forward legislation for the purpose of nullifying Federal Law and the overreach of Federal Government.

Being the gun packing, Bible clinging extremist that I am, I attended a Day of Resistance Rally to see what it was all about. It was 23 degrees outside with a steady 20mph wind from the northeast, which made for a chilly rally. Snowberms pushed up around the edges of the parking lot provided little protection from the bitter wind, but still, somewhere between 150 and 223 people braved the cold and stood in solidarity for the right to keep and bear arms. The first speaker, the mayor of the town, spoke about nullification. He began by talking about how the states had essentially nullified the national ID law or the federal Real ID law by enacting their own laws. He went on to speak about current State legislation being considered and the principles of state’s rights and the overreach of the Federal Government.

My state representatives recently introduced a law intending to protect citizen’s Second Amendment rights from the Federal Government. The controversy surrounding the legislation (Alaska HB69) was whether State and local law enforcement can arrest and charge Federal agents for enforcing Federal law contrary to State law. Wow, what a mouthful. The liberal left claims that the law is unconstitutional because of the supremacy clause, while the sponsor says they are making a statement and they don’t really care what the federal government thinks.

At this point I wish I had been taught more about the Constitution in high school or was that the plan all along? Is the constitution so complex, and the framework and purpose of our Federal Government so unimportant, that it is not taught in school? Was I not paying attention? Taking the right classes? Why do I know so little about this? I felt liked someone just smacked me with a stupid stick.

While this topic isn’t new, many people do not really understand this concept of nullification. I certainly didn’t. So off to the internet I went and I found some really interesting stuff. First of all, the States individually came together and created the federal government through the Constitution, which was written to LIMIT the power of the Federal Government. Ok, that alone blew my mind. The other main principle that I came away with is that the Federal Government does not really have the power to do what they do. They have basically high jacked principles such as the Commerce Clause to regulate all sorts of things, including firearms.

So how are states nullifying Federal Law and which ones? Probably the best publicized in the non MSM is the NDAA, the National Defense Authorization Act that provides authority to the Federal Government to indefinitely detain U.S citizens and other unconstitutionalities. Then there …read more

Take President Obama and his Cabinet of Liars, please.

We all know what dirty tricks they played to try and stop the sequester’s automatic budget cuts from happening.

They spent weeks trying to frighten the America people into believing the country would collapse into chaos and suffering if the federal government’s sequester-forced spending cuts went into effect.

The campaigner-in-chief and his chorus of toadies did everything they could to make sure the puny spending cuts — which would have merely taken the federal budget back to its 2012 level — would cause the most pain to the most people.

Supposedly, the cuts were going to decimate the ranks of our local police forces and firefighters, throw hundreds of teachers into the streets, create long lines at airports, and maybe even leave the United States vulnerable to a military invasion by Greece.

Of course, most of Big Media played right along with Obama’s dirty political game. Like the dupes they are, they publicized every sequester scare-story like it was going to mean the end of America as we know it.

(Too bad the MSM don’t devote the same level of hysteria to covering some of our real problems, like Obama’s runaway federal spending and our unpayable future debt load.)

In case you haven’t noticed by now, Armageddon didn’t happen. The sequester came, and the sun is still coming up. Planes aren’t falling from the heavens. And I haven’t had to use my guns to defend my home against a single robber or terrorist.

Even the invertebrate Republicans in Congress haven’t caved to pressure from the special interests who oppose the sequester cuts, though perhaps they just need more time.

So far, Obama’s cross-country campaign of whoppers hasn’t worked on the American people, who don’t need Karl Rove to tell them that the “Big Bad Wolf” the president was yapping about every day wasn’t really at their doors.

Another hopeful sign that most Americans are not as naive or stupid as the Obama Gang thinks they are came this week when the citizens of Los Angeles went to the polls.

The mayoral primary was the top draw, but also on the ballot on Tuesday was one of California’s infamous ballot measures.

The official title was “Proposition A — Neighborhood Public Safety And Vital City Services Funding And Accountability Measure.” That’s government-speak for a half-cent sales tax hike.

If you’re not familiar with the fiscal condition of my home city of Los Angeles, it’s a depressing microcosm of the federal government and the state of California. Taxing too much and spending even more, the city already has a sales tax of 9 cents and a projected annual budget deficit of $216 million.

To get voters to OK the higher sales tax and add $200 million in annual revenue to City Hall’s $7.2 billion budget, LA’s politicians imitated the president’s tactics.

Just as Obama tried to scare the public into believing that the sequester would hurt our national security, the local pols here tried to scare voters into thinking public safety would be endangered without Proposition A.

Conservative Real Life Superheroes

America’s comic book art form has inspired citizens to perform good deeds and even stop crime in progress.

It draws its appeal from biblical and classical lessons from Antiquity, updated for modern audiences hungry for heroes in these uncertain times.

“Real-life superheroes (RLSH)” is what the MSM calls us. Yes, I said “us.” I’m not only Cap Black online; that’s who I am on the streets too.

Since 2008, I took my various creative patriot activities and placed them under one superhero-inspired real-life username, “Cap Black.”

RLSH at that time were a great group of guys who encouraged each other to do more and better creative good.

As years went on, I noted many of them were politically left-of-center, but still supporters of private solutions to public problems.

I wish they’d pass this DIY ethic along to the Democrat Party!

I added “The Hood Conservative” to my Cap Black username to underscore the cultural crisis I faced as a creative patriot in the Hood.

Liberalism is the super-villain faced in these ugly zip codes. Thugs I call chocolate Klansmen, drugs, low morals, and squalor are all this ideological poison mass-produces.

Progressive RLSH can’t bring themselves to quite make this connection, despite regular humanitarian visits to these areas.

As an openly conservative RLSH, I’ve encountered more than a few masked Marxists who were once bosom buddies.

Like more conventional communities, liberals here are open-minded and welcoming UNTIL you state you’re (gasp!) a conservative or a Republican.

Then the rumor mill starts churning, and imagined wrongs are trumped up to unsuccessfully smear said conservative.

But as a square as I am, each attempt resulted in an epic fail!

Another creative patriot is my partner in our Heroes of America Facebook page. He’s the one and only Justin Tyme: The Redneck Superman!

He promotes patriotism, being a born-again Christian supporting police and the military. He’s also an excellent online graphic designer, which comes in handy for our Heroes of America Facebook page, where we creatively support conservatism without apology.

“Justin Tyme of Miller, South Dakota” is his personal Facebook page. Mine is “Cap Black The Hood Conservative.”

Only in America could two guys named “Cap Black: The Hood Conservative” and “Justin Tyme, The Redneck Superman” unite!

That’s the power of traditional values! They bring individuals together where lesser ideals drive them apart.

Conservative and libertarian RLSH activists favorably respond to my political posts, and we’ve formed a center-right network to represent views not usually heard from the liberal RLSH mainstream.

Conventional conservatives probably aren’t surprised by this double standard. They’re used to being snubbed at work or even by relatives for the “sin” of not being Democrats.

Why should “super” liberals be any more ideologically inclusive? Liberal is liberal, regardless of what one calls oneself or how one dresses.

One irony is how this progressive group reacts to yet another liberal: the two-fisted phenom called Phoenix Jones, hailing from the progressive stronghold named Seattle, Washington.

While sharing the same progressivism, many liberal RLSH nonetheless trip over themselves denouncing his brashness, PR flair, and the fact that, as a mixed martial artist, he’s literally able to fight …read more

On Monday Alex Jones appeared on CNN to debate Piers Morgan about gun control. In his appearance Alex Jones yells, interrupts, affects a mocking English accent, accuses Piers Morgan of being a “redcoat” and generally steam rolls through the entire segment. To many viewers Alex Jones came off as an unhinged lunatic who did more damage than help to his cause.
