Love him or hate him, President Woodrow Wilson rightly stated that “A nation that does not remember what it was yesterday, does not know what it is today, nor what it is trying to do. We are trying to do a futile thing if we do not know where we have come from, or what we have been about… America was born a Christian nation. America was born to exemplify that devotion to the tenets of righteousness which are derived from the revelations of Holy Scripture.”

Recently, while doing a radio interview, I was asked what my opinion was concerning immoral issues that are taking place in our country. I said that “My ‘opinion’ doesn’t matter any more than your ‘opinion’ does.” I said, “It is OK for us to have different opinions as long as we are rooted in the same principles.”

And herein lies America’s problems.

When we are no longer rooted in the same principles, corruption seeps in and begins to divide and conquer through outlets such as the media, public schools, and colleges.

For example, most young people think America is a democracy. Yet, when saying the Pledge of Allegiance, you recite: “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the UNITED States of America, and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands, ONE NATION UNDER GOD, indivisible (cannot be divided, separated, or broken), with liberty and justice for all.”

President Andrew Jackson said that “The Bible is the rock upon which our republic rests.” And these are the principles that keep us united.

I can just now hear the media, the teacher, the “well-educated” college professor, or the philosopher (using big words with common-sense meanings) decry: “We are not a Christian nation.” They then complain about the government that will not be ruled by Law (God gave government through Moses – Exodus 18:21).

In their confusion, they blurt out the truth: They would rather listen to man’s 10,000 commandments than to God’s Ten Commandments, which only produce liberty when you love God with your whole heart, mind, soul, and strength.

In essence, the unprincipled in America are at war with God and His Law, which commanded we should not kill, commit adultery, steal, lie, or covet. They seem to forget that “Wherever law ends, tyranny begins”… and tyranny is what you are dealing with today because most people do not know their history.

America, how is it that the left (as it is called) knows how to lie better than the right knows how to tell the truth?

The remedy: know your history

The University of Houston political science professors searched to find where the Founding Fathers chose their ideas:

They assembled 15,000 writings from the era of the founders.
They researched for 10 years, isolated 3,154 direct quotes, and identified the source of the quotes:

8.3 percent were quotes from Baron Charles de Montesquieu;
7.9 percent were quotes from Sir William Blackstone;
2.9 percent were from John Locke;

I’m beginning to wonder what in the world is going on in Texas! First I told you how the public school system in Texas is being infiltrated with CSCOPE curriculum thatteaches that the Founding Fathers, who were involved in the Boston Tea Party, were “terrorists.” Now, word is that in a Texas high school, students are told to refer to the Jihadists who hijacked planes on 9-11 to attack America should be referred to as “freedom fighters,” not terrorists.

Students at Lumberton High School were not only told this nonsense, but they have also been told to stop referring to the Holocaust as Genocide. Instead they used the term “ethnic cleansing.” Well isn’t that nice!
“I don’t think my freshman-level teacher was trying to politicize radical Islam or anything like that,” Valastro said of the 32-year veteran teacher. “I don’t think our teacher has…to my knowledge ever converted a single student to Islam.”Superintendent of the Lumberton Independent School District John Valastro says that the Advanced Placement World Geography teacher did nothing wrong. “What is more dangerous – fear and ignorance or education and understanding,” he asked. “From our standpoint, we are here to educate the kids.” To which I simply ask, then educate, don’t revise history and stop attempting to indoctrinate with political correctness.

That isn’t even close to the point and it most definitely is politicizing the issue when you completely distort who is who. I wonder if this teacher decided to dig into the pedophilia of Islam’s leader or maybe his criminal activity as heattacked caravans and engaged in terrorism or even more those that claimed he was possessed of a demon. The man did not even read or write, according to a pro-Islam source and the Qur’an itself.

Chicago top cop says pro-Second Amendment pols hurt public safety

Facing a surging homicide rate and several headline-grabbing murders, Chicago’s top cop is taking aim at the Second Amendment, according to critics.

Appearing on alocal Windy CitySunday morning talk show, Police SuperintendentGarry McCarthysaid gun owners who lobby politicians or donate money to pro-gun rights political campaigns are engaged in corruption that endangers public safety.

McCarthy, whose city – despite having some of the toughest gun laws in the nation – saw more than 500 homicides last year for the first time since 2008, also said the Second Amendment limits citizens to owning smooth-bore muskets.

Critics were quick to fire back. Illinois State Rifle Association Executive Director Richard Pearson said McCarthy missed the Founding Fathers‘ point.

“Garry McCarthy’s understanding of our Constitution barely qualifies him as a meter maid, never mind the chief of the nation’s third largest police department,” Pearsonsaid.

McCarthy in the past has blamed “government-sponsored racism” and Sarah Palin for Chicago’s gun violence. He has been outspoken in his opposition to handgun proliferation, telling a radio panel last month he equates fewer guns with improved public safety.

“When people say concealed carry, I say Trayvon Martin,” McCarthy said, referring to the Florida teen who was shot and killed last February by a neighborhood watch volunteer, sparking controversy across the country. “I say Trayvon Martin because the answer to guns is not more guns, and just simply putting guns in people’s hands is going to lead to more tragedy.”

McCarthy backs banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, requiring background checks for anyone who buys a gun, mandatory reporting of the sale, transfer, loss or theft of a gun and and mandatory minimum prison sentences for people convicted of illegally possessing a gun.

In January, some 43 people were gunned down in Chicago, making it the deadliest January in the city in more than a decade. One of the victims was Hadiya Pendleton, a 15-year-old high school student who performed as a drum majorette at President Obama‘s inauguration just days before being shot in a park.

School Official Heard Claiming Constitutional Rights Don’t Apply

For a lot of high school students, the Constitution is about as dry a subject as you can get. But not for some kids in Boca Raton, FL.

Students at the Spanish River High School in this Miami suburb show an interest in Constitutional rights — especially when they are taken away right under their noses. Members of the American Club there were surprised that Christian speaker/musician Bradlee Dean was kicked off of their school’s property over Dean’s conservative views, even though Dean had been invited weeks before under the approval of the school’s administration.

“I was surprised that a teacher … or someone who worked at the school, was telling the students that we’re not supposed to uphold the Constitutional values given by our Founding Fathers while on school property,” a student said after Dean was kicked off school property. The student’s comments are recorded on a YouTube video chronicling the incident:

Exiled to the roadside

This is the kind of student most teachers want — someone who is passionately interested in the subject. The other students in the club were no doubt just as fascinated, as they sat on the grass afterwards just off the school property to hear Dean’s talk.

But Dean’s talk was too politically incorrect, in the eyes of Principal William Latson and his cohorts at Spanish River. Latson ignored the fact that Dean had been invited by the school’s club (which has invited other conservative speakers, including entertainer Victoria Jackson) and that Dean’s appearance was approved and announced on the school’s PA system that week.

“Controversial” and “Anti-Homosexuality”

Halfway through the event, it was shut down by the principal, who cited “controversial statements” and the “anti-homosexuality” of Dean’s group “Sons of Liberty.” (Disclosure: Sons of Liberty is a client of our firm, TreeFrogClick.) One official told the group that the Constitution “does not apply to school property,” and that neither the Club nor the speakers had any First Amendment rights.

What? The Constitution does not apply to public school property, and First Amendment rights are squashed? Sounds like these school officials have put their institution in the same category as a prison, or a school in a communist country.

And anyone who believes in traditional morality, such that homosexual acts are inherently disordered — runs the risk of being trotted off school grounds.

Dismantle Beliefs

To make it clear, America, most public schools — or should I say government schools — are doing their utmost to dismantle students’ beliefs that families should be led by a mom and dad, and not by two men or two women who are sexually involved with one another. If you aren’t sure what’s going on, find out what kind of sex education, field trips to Planned Parenthood, and “anti-bullying” programs that are a mask for the homosexual agenda are going on at your school.

Benghazi Attack Was Retaliation For Brennan’s Secret Al-Qaeda War

Many refer to the President of the United States, leader of the sole superpower in the world, as the most powerful person on the face of the Earth. It follows then that Barack Hussein Obama, as President, would be considered this person.

But that would be an incorrect conclusion. Even Obama with his “we can’t wait for Congress to act” meme, spurning the legislative branch, spurning the checks and balances the Founding Fathers put in place—even with Obama spurning the Courts in the recent NLRB ruling deeming his “recess” appointments unconstitutional, there is one man who wields more power than Obama: CIA appointee John Brennan.

How can that be? Brennan is man who is actually relatively low in the White House food chain, who is nothing more than an adviser to the President, with the title of Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism.

Yet this man has a virtually unchecked amount of power—no, let us call it for what it is—unchecked power. Congress, the Courts, the CIA, even the Pentagon have no reign over this man as we shall see in a moment.

It was recently discovered that Brennan, running something akin to a fiefdom with his drone assassination program, has the power to decide who lives and who dies and doesn’t have to provide evidence to any entity that the “target” presents any threat to America—even if they are an American—even if the American is living in the United States!

Investigative Reporter Michael Isikoff uncovered a secret memo, entitled:

“Lawfulness of a Lethal Operation Directed Against a U.S. Citizen who is a Senior Operational Leader of Al Qa’ida or An Associated Force.”

The memo gives the Obama Administration—in effect Brennan—the authority to kill any American citizen at anytime for any reason without proof, without due process, and with absolutely no oversight.

The key passage in the sixteen page memo is the following:

The condition that an operational leader present an “imminent” threat of violent attack against the United States does not require the United States to have clear evidence that a specific attack on U.S. persons and interests will take place in the immediate future.

This was the basis for the drone strike against American-born al-Qaeda-linked terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki in September of 2011 in Yemen. And this was the basis of the murder of al-Awlaki’s sixteen-year-old son Abdulrahman, along with several other teenagers who were engaged in an outdoor barbecue. While it is debatable whether al-Awlaki as an American citizen should have received due process, it is doubtful that his son, murdered two weeks after al-Awlaki, had any connection to al-Qaeda.

But this unchecked power exercised by John Brennan is mild compared to what we learned with the recent release of an extensive book on the Benghazi consulate attack on September 11, 2012.

Happy 100th Birthday, Income Tax!

On Sunday, the Sixteenth Amendment, the one that laid the groundwork for a permanent federal income tax, celebrated its 100th birthday. Needless to say, not everybody was lining up to celebrate. In Forbes, wealth manager David Marotta used the anniversary as an opportunity to exhort readers to “Let the Income Tax Die at 100.” Meanwhile, over at The Global Dispatch, Robert Harriman paired anti-tax quotes from a trio of Founding Fathers with a pro-tax quote from Karl Marx.

None Dare Call It… Treason

Today, our nation is facing perhaps the most critical situation it has faced since 1776 when our nation declared our Independence! Our very Constitution is being attacked by a man who has taken an oath of office to “…preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States” and also by those who have taken an oath to “support and defend” that same Constitution. Yet, some elected representatives find it in their best interest to refuse to honor their Oath of Office. We the people had sent these senators and representatives to their office with the idea that they would be trusted with our Constitution. But instead, they betray the very principles of their office. Some lay claim that this is an act of treason. With this in mind, let us look at just what treason is defined as.

Treason is defined by Webster’s online as:

1. the betrayal of trust; 2. the offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance or to kill or personally injure the sovereign or his family.

The 1828 Webster’s Dictionary, which many would use to define words pertaining to the Constitution and the Founding Fathers, defines Treason as:

Treason is the highest crime of a civil nature of which a man can be guilty. Its signification is different in different countries. In general, it is the offense of attempting to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance, or of betraying the state into the hands of a foreign power. In monarchies, the killing of the king, or an attempt to take his life, is treason. In England, to imagine or compass the death of the king, or of the prince, or of the queen consort, or of the heir apparent of the crown, is high treason; as are many other offenses created by statute.

Understanding what the definition of treason is, let us see just what our elected officials in Washington are doing with the Second Amendment and see if whether they are in fact committing an act of treason.

Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Let us list those officials who have now committed acts of treason by their actions and words: President Barack Obama, with his signing of unconstitutional executive orders contrary to the Constitution; Vice president Joe Biden, with his words making an attempt to change opinion of the Constitution; and Attorney General Eric Holder, with his words and his strong statements against the very oath he took. We cannot forget Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and her deliberate attempt to classify weapons that are now legal under the Constitution. Here we must present some idea of why “We The People” do not have to abide by any laws made that are in direct conflict with the Second Amendment and State laws.

Even Attorney General Eric Holder has made statements that are contrary to his oath of office.

In a 1995 address to the Woman’s National Democratic Club, Holder announced the launch of a public campaign to “really brainwash people into thinking about guns in a vastly different way.”

“What we need to do,” he explained, “is change the way in which people think about guns, especially young people, and make it something that’s not cool, that it’s not acceptable, it’s not hip to carry a gun anymore, in the way in which we changed our attitudes about cigarettes.”

Holder also advanced the notion that “Every day that goes by, about 12, 13 more children in this country die from gun violence”—a statistic that would be true only if one classified 18-year-old, gun-wielding gangsters as “children.” In the wake of the 9/11 attacks, Holder wrote an opinion piece for The Washington Post calling for a new law that would give the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms “a record of every firearm sale.” He also advocated that prospective gun buyers be checked against the secret “watch lists” compiled by the government.

In 2008, Holder argued that “the Second Amendment did not protect an individual right to keep and bear arms” but only protected government militias’ rights to guns. Scholar and political commentator John Lott writes that he “can’t find even one gun control law that Holder has opposed.”

Even Vice President Joe Biden made very serious statements that are not at all reasonable when he stated “You don’t need an assault rifle to stop an intruder, you just need a double barrel shotgun with ammunition, the assault weapon is not as accurate as a shotgun.” Here it seems that Biden has never been in a situation where the so-called “assault weapon” was used against several people attacking a single individual where that individual overcame the number of people attacking them.

Here, it becomes very clear that those who present unconstitutional laws do not uphold the very Constitution they swore an oath to support and defend. In doing so, all those who take a stand counter to the Constitution are people committing treason and making laws that cannot be upheld because they are unconstitutional. This must stop, and these people must be held accountable for what they have done.

How can “We The People” even think of stopping these types of treasonous actions by the people we elected to serve? We as a nation must come to understand the true assaults that are now being made upon our nation by those sworn to support and defend our Constitution. We as a people must and should do all we can to ensure that the Constitution is not destroyed.

God help us all before it is too late!

How Democrats Plan On Stealing The Presidency In 2016

To guarantee the will of the people would decide who would govern us our Founding Fathers gave each state the right to apportion its Electoral College votes (ECVs) as it wished.

Democrats don’t really like this because it opens the door to changes that would give people more of a voice in the selection of our presidents. Throughout the last two hundred years, they have often relied on voter fraud to win presidential elections.

This is why they are gearing up to fight a new plan for awarding ECVs being considered in six states totally controlled by Republicans. Barack Obama won all six.

The plan calls for an ECV to be awarded to a candidate for each Congressional District he/she wins, thus ending the “winner take all” system which invites fraud in a few districts which is so rampant as to smother the honest votes throughout a state.

This “win the district, win the ECVs” system is entirely legal and is the mirror image (comparing honesty to corruption) of the Democrats’ plan to award ECVs of some states to the winner of the nationwide popular vote. Doing this would mean that California would not even have to bother counting its presidential votes. It could just wait until the results of ballot box stuffing operations in the northeastern states were complete and say, “Here’s our 55 ECVs” to the Democrat candidate.

How things would change.

If this system was in place last November, six states Obama won in spite of being completely controlled by Republicans could have awarded GOP candidate Mitt Romney enough additional ECVs to win by a narrow margin.

The state-by state-differences in Romney’s favor would have been as follows: In Florida +15; Ohio + 12; Michigan + 9; Wisconsin + 5; Virginia + 9 and Pennsylvania +12 for a grand total of 63 new ECVs and a final tally of 273 ECVs.

The chances of this plan being passed in these states are very real. For various reasons, each Republican governor would be eager to sign this clearly Constitutional change into law.

Under this plan the Democrats could continue to win big cities with 112% of the population voting Democrat but not come close to stealing the ECVs of states whose people want a Republican president. If we are ever to regain our freedom, passing this legislation is essential.

Don’t Ban Firearms; BAN Obama And Cuomo!

Now that these two left wing liberal/communists have pushed their agendas to take our God given, Constitutional right to bear arms, I am now waiting for them to announce the forced buyback of our firearms.

As far as Obama, he can start with buying back the firearms that he has illegally sold to the Mexican drug cartels under his Fast and Furious gun running operation, as well as the weapons sold to the Muslim Brotherhood, Al Queida, and the terrorist factions that have taken over Libya and Syria. Not that anyone has bothered to check, but one has to wonder if Ambassador Stevens and the three brave Americans that were with him were killed with American-supplied weapons.

For two of the most polarizing people that ever entered the political spectrum, they sure have their fair share of issues when it comes to protecting and defending the United States Constitution.

Let’s start with Obama. Aside from the eligibility issues that have plagued him since 2007, which still to this day have not been investigated, we can add the Fast and Furious scandal, Benghazi, Solyndra, the NDAA, the BP oil spill extortion, offshore drilling bans, excessive executive orders to circumvent Congress, Obamacare, CZARs, and illegal recess appointments (and that is just off the top of my head. I am sure there is more.)

Now let’s look at Cuomo. As the HUD secretary, he was instrumental in pushing banks to lend money for mortgages to clients they KNEW did not have the means to pay the money back, knowing full well that this would lead to the collapse of not only the banking system, but the housing market as well. Cuomo was subsequently instrumental in causing this recession (more like a depression) that America still has not recovered from regardless of what the economists and media may tell us. I believe that this whole scam was set up in order to transfer private property into the government sector as up to 98 percent of the existing mortgages are guaranteed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. If you look at any communist regime, you will find that ALL property is government-owned.

Some 238 years ago, our Founding Fathers faced the same kind of tyranny in the 13 Colonies. Did they just roll over and let the king of England dictate to them as we get dictated to today? No, they didn’t. They kissed their mothers, sisters, and daughters good bye, took up their arms, and stood up in one accord and proclaimed to the king “WE WILL NOT COMPLY’! I fear that if we continue on this path of destruction, we will be faced with the same choices as our Forefathers did. Will you stand up for the Constitution? Or will you just roll over and be ruled by dictators? The time is drawing short for you to make your choice. Until you choose, stay safe and always be aware of your surroundings.

NH Representative Calls For Limits On Conservatives’ Rights

Conservatives and Libertarians alike know that they are put down time and time again (occasionally by each other; but soon, we may have a bigger threat to deal with.) To quote Cynthia Chase (D-NH) in the Union Leader newspaper: “In the opinion of this Democrat, Free Staters are the single biggest threat the state is facing today.” She continued, saying that “One way is to pass measures that will restrict the ‘freedoms’ that they think they will find here. Another is to shine the bright light of publicity on who they are and why they are coming.” Now, she was referring to the developing Libertarian Free State Project, which is trying to get people to move to New Hampshire.

To say that the people who believe that Government should be small, that spending should be cut, and that people should be finding jobs (so they can get off Entitlement Programs) should have their freedoms limited is ludicrous. The Constitution of the United States guarantees FREE SPEECH (see Article I, Section I), basically saying that people can say what they want, think what they want, and not be infringed upon. What she proposes, though, goes against the Constitution itself. What she calls for, the censorship of Conservative and Libertarian values and arguments, moves to defy one of the freedoms the Founding Fathers and so many others fought and died to attain and defend. Many people have made the ultimate sacrifice over many years to keep these freedoms alive, and she basically wants to take what they have done and throw it in the trash. She wants to take the freedoms given to us Conservatives and Libertarians, shred them up, and say “you can’t do that”.

America has come very far since the days when the British were in control. We’ve revolted, had a revolution, and gained our Independence. We’ve already been through one Civil War, and we as a nation weren’t even 100 years old. We’ve been through two World Wars, both excruciatingly painful; but we pulled through. We’ve been through countless other wars since. All through those, we have fought to keep our rights, our liberty, and our freedom. Men and women have worked so hard and died to make sure we at home can keep these rights. It would be sad to see those rights taken away not by invasion, but by our own people. By our own neighbors, by anyone. Maybe even a family member. These rights were won so we could all be free.

When one person or group of people believes that they should be taken away for a certain few, or even a certain majority, trouble is only so far in the distance. People constantly say that they will not stand for their government telling them what to do, how to think, what to say, and what they can or can’t have. I for one am one of those people. I will not allow my rights, which are guaranteed by the Constitution, to be limited. “I will not sit by peacefully and watch” is what many people say, and I for one agree with them and see their point. Cynthia Chase’s comments have angered many, for I myself was one of the many. I have seen what some say. They are displeased and disgusted that just because they believe in Conservatism or Libertarianism, they must have their rights limited. We are not pleased and shall not stand for this at all.

White House: Texas must remain part of the US

Bad news for thousands of people who wanted to see Texas secede: The state is still in the U.S.

The White House has responded to a petition asking that Texas be allowed to break away from the country, saying the Founding Fathers who created the nation “did not provide a right to walk away from it.”

More than 125,000 people signed the petition, which was created a few days after President Barack Obama won re-election. The White House has promised to respond to any petition that gets more than 25,000 signatures within 30 days.

Jon Carson, director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, issued a response quoting Abraham Lincoln‘s first inaugural address and a Supreme Court opinion after the Civil War. It said America was created as a “perpetual union,” but one that allows people with different beliefs to debate the issues.

“Democracy can be noisy and controversial,” Carson said. “Free and open debate is what makes this country work … But as much as we value a healthy debate, we don’t let that debate tear us apart.”

The petition was created Micah Hurd, a Texas National Guardsman and an engineering student at the University of Texas in Arlington. He couldn’t be reached for comment Monday.

In asking that Texas be allowed to leave the country, the petition cited the “economic difficulties stemming from the federal government‘s neglect to reform domestic and foreign spending.” It argued that given the size of Texas’ economy and because the state has a balanced budget, it would be “practically feasible for Texas to withdraw from the union.”

The petition also said the federal government didn’t share the same values held by the Founding Fathers.

But Carson argued that the writers of the U.S. Constitution addressed the need for policy change through elections, not secession.

The petition’s success brought overnight fame for Hurd, though briefly got him in trouble. In December, a regiment commander at the Texas National Guard sent an email to his subordinates, including Hurd, saying “any mention of secession better happen on a civilian venue.”

“It’s only talk, and rather ignorant talk at that,” the commander wrote. “If you’ve already done something to call attention to yourself or our regiment in this matter, make it go away.”

But a few days later, a National Guard spokeswoman said Hurd had done nothing wrong and that “the email asking him not to talk about it” shouldn’t have been sent.

A telephone listing for Hurd couldn’t be found Monday by The Associated Press. His father, who has spoken on behalf of his son in the past, didn’t immediately return a phone message.

A group of like-minded patriots, bound together by pride in American exceptionalism, plan on building an armed community to protect their liberty.

The group, named Citadel, intends to purchase 2,000 to 3,000 acres for the project in western Idaho. The community will comprise of 3,500 to 7,000 families of patriotic Americans who “voluntarily choose to live together in accordance with Thomas Jefferson’s ideal of Rightful Liberty.”

According to the Citadel website, Rightful Liberty means that “neighbors keep their noses out of other neighbors’ business, that neighbors live and let live.”

Citadel explains that residents in the community will be bound by the following:

Patriotism
Pride in American Exceptionalism
Our proud history of Liberty as defined by our Founding Fathers, and
Physical preparedness to survive and prevail in the face of natural catastrophes –such as Hurricanes Sandy or Katrina — or man-made catastrophes such as a power grid failure or economic collapse.
Residents should also agree that being “prepared for the emergencies of life and being proficient with the American icon of Liberty — the Rifle — are prudent measures.”

Some of the benefits of the Citadel community include a safe, well-prepared, patriotic community where children will be educated in school, not indoctrinated.
