Jose Arango, New Jersey GOP Leader, Compares Female Lt. Gov. Candidate To His Secretary

By The Huffington Post News Editors

A county Republican Party chairman in New Jersey had some harsh words this week for Hispanic labor leader Milly Silva, the newly tapped running mate of the state’s Democratic candidate for governor.

“Poor thing,” Jose Arango, the chairman, said of Silva, who is the executive vice president of labor union SEIU 1199. “It’s like picking my secretary. She’s a very nice person. The union likes her, but even in the union she’s vice president. She hasn’t been a committeewoman.”

Arango added, “It’s like the guy in CVS with no expertise who suddenly gets promoted to pharmacist. It’s like the guy saying, ‘I work at CVS, I can be the pharmacist.'”

GOP Chair: Not Big on That 'Tolerance' Word

Sure, the Republican Party’s self-assessment may have called for more tolerance , but its chairman isn’t much interested in the word itself, he says. Florida Mom Gets 20 Years For Firing Warning Shot

By Breaking News

Florida SC Florida Mom Gets 20 Years For Firing Warning Shot

In 2012, a Florida mother of three received a 20-years prison sentence for firing a warning shot into the ceiling to deter her ex-husband from attacking her.

The case is receiving renewed media attention after the Zimmerman verdict, because Marissa Alexander pled self-defense under Florida’s stand your ground law. She claims that her ex-husband attacked her and made her fear for her life. She had already taken out a protective order against him after he had assaulted her, including one incident that put her in hospital. She had never been in trouble with the law before her arrest.

According to sworn depositions, Alexander was living at her mother’s house after separating from her husband Rico Gray. He came to the house and “flew into a jealous rage after discovering, while poking through her cellphone, that she had sent pictures of their newborn daughter to her first husband,” according to Reason. Alexander was in the bathroom at the time.

Gray tried to force the door and then blocked her exit when she tried to leave. “I was like forcing her back with my body,” he admitted in his sworn deposition. He is 7 inches taller and outweighs her by 100 pounds, according to Reason. He admitted that he told her “if she ever cheated on me I would kill her.”

She pushed past him and ran to get her gun from her car, then returned to the house and told Gray to leave. She says she then fired a warning shot into the ceiling, and Gray initially admitted that was true. “The gun was never pointed at me,” he said in his sworn depostion. “She just didn’t want me to put my hands on her anymore, so she did what she feel like she have to do to make sure she wouldn’t get hurt.”

Erase The Boarders And Erase The Republican Party

By Derrick Hollenbeck

Voting Booth 300x168 Erase the Boarders and Erase the Republican Party

We’ve heard ad nauseam the advice from our good friend Chuck Schumer about how the Republicans can win the White House back if they would only grant amnesty to millions of   new Democrat voters and erase our southern border. This is of course a lie designed to destroy the Republican Party akin to deliberately directing a lost motorist to take a washed out bridge during a roaring Nor’easter.  Because what Democrats say and do is so often purposefully dishonest, here’s some advice from a rank and file conservative who actually wants the Republican Party to survive and grow.

The road to future political dominance is blindingly obvious to anyone who can count, but our Republican “leaders” are playing make believe with the clear truth. As damaged as our economy is we are still head and shoulders above the rest of the world’s cultures and economies.

The wagon of America’s economy is pulled by people who understand Judeo-Christian ethics and the value of hard work. Tending to the demands of White Americans, and those who share their values is simply a matter of siding with America’s “makers over our nation’s takers.”

With huge portions of Blacks and Hispanics falling outside of these parameters, it’s very easy to understand why both groups consistently vote Democrat. The Democrat lure of something for nothing is so overwhelming that it is not only foolhardy, but politically dangerous, to believe these “no worries minorities” will ever vote Republican in any meaningful numbers.

Minority groups make up about 32% of the American voting public. Whites are more than double that number at about 68%.  Analysis of last November’s presidential vote  showed that had Mitt Romney merely gotten the same amount of White votes John McCain got in 2008 he would have won despite his poorly run campaign. Further examination shows that had Romney gotten an impossible 70% of the Latino vote he still would have lost. Chasing minority votes is worse than a zero sum game.  The minority votes a Republican picks up by pandering to Hispanics or Black voters comes nowhere near offsetting the Whites who continue to flee the Republican Party in protest.

It is an undeniable fact that Whites and people of like mind and ethic have a bigger stake in the survival of America than those who will flood into our country should the Republicans grant them amnesty. When the lifeblood of America is drained out they will simply pack up and leave for Mexico as has happened since the start of Obama’s depression.

So what does all this say? It clearly says that if the Republicans want to live as free Americans and continue as a national Party they will have to concentrate on meeting the needs of Whites and like-minded people. Democrats focus on catering to Blacks and Hispanics as their natural constituency; why shouldn’t Republicans focus on their natural constituency? Going after a bloc of voters, that is more than twice as large as the Democrat pool of minorities, makes sense even to a fourth grader.

Why Do I Have To Show ID When Obama Shows None?

By Tom Ballantyne Jr.

I just went through this in re-instating my architectural license in AZ. They wanted me to provide college transcripts, proof of registration in previous states, proof of passing the national licensing exam, and 30 year professional experience (work) history, proof of citizenship, proof of Social Security registration, and government-provided photo ID (not necessary to vote in every state won by Barack Obama in the recent election) – all of which I had to provide 8 years ago upon being licensed initially in the state, and ALL of which is in my file IN THEIR OFFICE. The forms which they send to be re-completed are all available on-line, but cannot be filled out electronically. They have to be printed, filled in by hand (or typewriter!), scanned, printed, and mailed. (I was stunned yesterday that they let me email an additional form they requested from another state!) Meanwhile, the “supervisor” was attending a “conference” in San Francisco, or was it San Diego?

By the Way, just try telling them that your birth certificate is posted on your MySpace page, and let me know how that works out for you. Oh yeah, your’re not the guy with the Connecticut Social Security Number (who couldn’t pass the Federal Government’s own E-Verify system last year), and whose Selective Service Registration is a clear forgery (both departments refusing to provide proof of original documentation, while scurrying to destroy past records – all such actions a matter of public record). Anyway, you’re not the guy walking around with the Nuclear Launch Codes (the Nuclear Football) within 20 feet of you at all times (or was it meters?), so no big deal. Oops! I got that backwards. It isn’t a big deal for HIM, but it is for those of us who hire and pay him, and to whom HE is to answer. But saying all of this only makes me a “racist” and “birther” according to the media elites in BOTH parties.

No, you and I are just people who believe that under the Rule of Law, we are all EQUAL, even if we’re not an impoverished, government-assisted, transgender “male” (or lesbian), Muslim, or, at least non-Christian or non-Jewish (yes, lots of contradictions there) person of color. Too bad about that “document of negative liberties”…but that apparently only applies to angry white Christian males…like those who wrote that dusty old document (found recently in a trash bin behind the Capitol!).

An Eagle Scout’s Take On The Current Boy Scout Controversy

By Daniel Noe

Yesterday, Western Journalism linked to an article about the controversy over allowing openly gay boys into the Boy Scouts of America controversy.

It looks like after relentless pressure, the Boy Scouts are caving into the homosexual agenda (which as I will explain later has nothing to do with homosexuality per se.)

This just might be the last straw for me…

First, some background. From 1998 until 2004, I was a proud member of BSA Troop 199 in Oldwick, New Jersey. I made a lot of friends and even acquired a few mentors during my time in the scouts. One of my proudest accomplishments in my 26 years was attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in October 2004. I remember the ceremony as if it was just yesterday. It was a lot of hard work, but it was more than worth it.

I am still in touch with several of my fellow Eagle Scouts (some of whom just might be reading this right now!) And man do we have a strong opinion on what is happening to the program we were privileged to be a part of during our teenage years.

I do know some “scout dads” who will cease any involvement, current or former, with the Boy Scouts should they yield to the gay lobby.

I should also mention (proudly) that I am a theologically and culturally conservative Christian who after attending a more moderate church for 15 years was saved earlier this year after attending an Independent Baptist church for two weeks. I am proud to call Sun Valley Baptist Church in Anthem, Arizona my new home church.

The reason why I am specific in terms of what kind of Christian I am is because sadly, a LOT of Christianity has been watered down in America. Whole denominations are indifferent to traditional marriage, “social justice,” the increasing usurpation of our God-given liberties under multiple recent administrations, and even abortion.

When it comes to marriage, I subscribe strictly to its biblical definition. (To some people, that makes me a “bigot,” an accusation I will proudly wear with a badge of honor.) Why, you may ask? Because God did not create Adam and Steve, nor Alice and Eve. He created Adam and Eve. End of story.

I believe that Christians are to hate sin while at the same time loving the sinner. It is not gays themselves I am opposed to. It is the gay lifestyle, which is shamelessly promoted on television, Hollywood, the rest of the media, and the Democratic Party (this should not suggest that I am any fan of the Republican Party, FYI.) It is specifically promoted as a “normal” lifestyle, which just simply is not true to the many of us Christians who read the Bible for ourselves.

It is not the job of Christians to call them names (i.e. “perverts”, “queers”, or worse.) Unfortunately, some Christians will distract fellow church-goers from the fact that they are sinners by just demonizing gays (or immigrants or Muslims) all the time. These Christians should know better as

Joe Miller Of Alaska Considers 2014 Senate Run

By Breaking News

Joe Miller SC Joe Miller of Alaska considers 2014 Senate run

Serious times call for bold measures, Joe Miller said yesterday in a press release: “With the re-election of Barack Obama, our very way of self-government is in peril. The Constitution is under attack, the value of human life degraded, religious liberties are threatened, the Second Amendment is increasingly in jeopardy, and the right to protection from unlawful search and seizure is giving way to a virtual surveillance State.”

Not long ago, Miller just barely missed the turn to the Senate when Lisa Murkowski asked for a recount, telling the judge that those who spelled her name wrong on the ballot should be included in the count. She won the recount, and the Miller/Murkowski contention perfectly reflected the division rising in the Republican Party between establishment conservatives and new Tea Party candidates. Miller was a Tea Party champion and had the support of Alaska’s former Gov. Sarah Palin.

Murkowski, who represents Alaska today, is the poster child of the political group “No Labels,” which claims to be a “growing citizens’ movement of Democrats, Republicans and everything in between …”

No Labels is high-fiving Sens. Mark Udall (D-CO) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) for their role in sparking a bipartisan seating movement among members of Congress in advance of the State of the Union address,” their web site reads, featuring photos of Murkowski and Udall.

“In 2010, I was one of the first candidates to warn of a looming debt crisis and predict the coming downgrade of America’s credit rating,” Miller said. “My campaign championed the prerogatives of State governments under the 10th Amendment, and pointed out the massive threat to our individual liberties coming out of Washington. In October of 2010, I predicted that regardless of who represented Alaska in DC, ‘the era of earmarks is dead.’ And we were ahead of the curve on entitlement reform.”

The Tea Party Comeback

By Breaking News

Thousands of Tea Party activists will gather Monday at rallies across the nation to mark Tax Day, April 15–and to re-ignite a movement that had been written off as dormant by the media and the political classes.

After propelling the Republican Party to the majority in the House of Representatives in 2010–and likely for the next decade thereafter–the Tea Party seemed to retreat. It failed in its political aim of defeating President Barack Obama in 2012, largely because of its earlier failure to find an alternative nominee to Gov. Mitt Romney. It was tarnished unfairly as racist, extremist, and–especially after the Tuscon shooting of Jan. 2011–violent, and was blamed even by some Republicans for the debt ceiling impasse in mid-2011.

Yet the Tea Party also succeeded in stopping the rapid growth of federal spending and taxation. The Tea Party ensured that there would be no bailouts for profligate states and no large-scale tax increases. Though it had to swallow the tax increases of the “fiscal cliff” deal in the early hours of 2013, it essentially preserved 98% of the Bush-era tax cuts. And by shifting the national debate in favor of deficit reduction, the Tea Party laid the foundation for the budget sequester–a set of across-the-board spending cuts that the American public has largely tolerated, even in the face of President Obama’s attempts to create panic and outrage.

Man Gets Seven Years For Stealing Obama’s Teleprompter!

By Breaking News

President Obama’s teleprompter may be more valuable than even his biggest critics claim. After all, a man who stole Obama’s teleprompter was sentenced to seven years in federal prison.

“The theft of government property is a serious offense,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Roderick Young said during Virginia resident Eric Brown’s sentencing hearing. “It’s all the more serious when the property belongs to the White House Communications Agency.”

Brown, 49, agreed to the lengthy sentence in order to avoid being prosecuted for 14 other truck thefts, according to NBC News. Virginia sentencing guidelines stipulated a prison term of about three years for the theft of government property.

Over the past 30 years, Brown has been convicted of 36 crimes.

“If I had to sum up Mr. Brown’s character, it would be that he’s a thief,” Judge John A. Gibney said.

Exposed: Hawaii’s Communist Past

By Louise Hodges

Americans don’t have a lot of information about Hawaii, other than the Hawaiian Ice and the presidential windsurfing.

It was easier for Obama to run his campaign out of Chicago, where none of Hawaii’s communist past could haunt his campaign.

Hawaii may have been a US territory, but Moscow controlled the labor. When Hitler invaded the Soviet Union, Moscow placed a call to their Hawaiian operatives and told them to knock it until after the war.

We have Jack Kawano to thank for that piece of information. Jack Kawano was a member of the Longshoremen’s Union and joined the Communist Party of Hawaii in 1930. He helped organize the sugar plantation workers and rose up through the ranks to become President of the Longshoremen’s Union, Local 136.

Communist organizers from the mainland recognized his leadership abilities and invited him to join the “Traveler’s Club”, the communist underground.

It all came to an abrupt end when communist insurgents staged a revolution in 1949, holding the Hawaiian Islands in a state of siege for 177 days.

Kawano was so shaken by the violence that he offered to tell his story to the House Un-American Activities Committee.

He repeated his testimony in an interview with Richard English for the “Saturday Evening Post”, dated Feb. 2, 1952 in an titled “We Almost Lost Hawaii To The Reds.” If you can find a copy, it’s worth the read.

Kawano’s testimony shattered the Communist Party. He described his meetings with his communist advisors as “professional guys and teachers from the University of Hawaii”. They explained the theory of communism, by breaking a twig. Then they tied a dozen twigs together and explained that if the twigs work together, it’s impossible to break.

It’s a weak argument. All the twigs eventually go down in flames. In communism, the little guy does all the dirty work.

The bombshell came when Kawano revealed a plan to take over the leadership of the Democratic Party, which they called “unorganized and weak.” They planned to take over the Republican Party later on. Seems a little prophetic, doesn’t it?

Jack Kawano was one of forty-one communist delegates who attended the territorial convention of the Democratic Party in Hawaii.

Kawano described his trip to San Francisco for special indoctrination at party headquarters.

Kawano listened to lectures on communism for six weeks, describing the school as “mostly students from California, and one Mexican.”

He attended classes in Marxism, propaganda, and training in how to agitate the police. And finally, he was forced to listen to the complete history of the American labor movement and the Communist Party.

I’m surprised they didn’t die of boredom. I guess we should remember that the lectures were probably written by some intellectual genius from Berkeley.

And who needs training on how to agitate the police? I’ll just remind everyone that the students at UC Davis were pepper-sprayed in the face, and then they filed complaints against the university police. Still up to the same old tricks.

This gives us a much different picture of Barack Obama and makes the leadership of the Democratic Party

An Open Letter To RNC Chair Reince Priebus

By Tim Powers

PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO ALL ELECTED OFFICIALS

Dear Mr Priebus,

I signed on with the Republican Party back in 2008 when I perceived the threat that our Muslim/communist plant Barack Hussein Obama would bring to the United States if he won the election. Like every good party supporter, I gave what I could in order to further the CONSERVATIVE Republican cause, to no avail of course. I gave once again in 2012 as it looked like a pretty good field of Conservative candidates, except for the fact that we ended up with the socialist/RINO Mitt Romney. Once again, the party’s choice of a candidate was to no avail.

My question to you sir is this: when are you going to stop asking your party members for money when the best that you can muster is nothing more than a bunch of co-opted progressive Republican RINO’s like John McCain and Lindsey Graham?

If you haven’t noticed, Sir, the people that you didn’t back and in fact tried to ruin in the primaries such as Rand Paul, Nikki Haley, and Ted Cruz are the very same people that We The People through our grassroots efforts put over the top against your RINOs against all odds. I don’t know if you have noticed, Sir, but it is OUR people that are making a difference in that corrupt cesspool on the hill.

My advice to you as a Republican voter is this: if you want to get this party back on track, get this party back to true Conservatism. Otherwise, I will remain a Republican only for the option of voting the RINOs out during the primaries. Until such a time that you begin to field truly Conservative candidates, you will NOT receive another dime from me, so please don’t ask.

Sincerely,

Tim Powers

Obama: Pelosi Will Regain Speakership

By Breaking News

President Barack Obama attended two fundraisers on Wednesday on San Francisco’s “Billionaires’ Row” and said it would be a “whole lot easier” to govern if House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) became House Speaker after 2014.

Obama even said he expected Pelosi “is going to be once again the Speaker of the House.”

The President attended fundraisers for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) at the homes of Tom Steyer, who is pushing Obama to more aggressively back “climate change” bills, and Ann and Gordon Getty.

Democrats need to win 17 seats to take back the House in 2014, and Obama is prioritizing that goal, since the Republican-controlled House remains his primary legislative obstacle. While Democrats accomplished little while they held control of the House and a Senate supermajority from 2009-2010, the President may pursue a more aggressive legislative agenda with control of both houses now that he does not have to face his own reelection in 2016.

“My intention here is to try to get as much done with the Republican Party over the next two years as I can, because we can’t have perpetual campaigns,” Obama said, according toThe Hill. “But I would be dishonest if I didn’t say that it would be a whole lot easier to govern if I had Nancy Pelosi as Speaker.”

Normalizing Sin And The Decadent Society

By David Lane

us capitol building SC 3.6 Percent Unemployment for Government Workers

A keynote is defined as being “the first and harmonically fundamental tone of a scale.”

Sustainable freedom and a free people require a foundation of moral absolutes that foster biblical truth and restrain vice — the fundamental tone in the Founding of America was laid on the bedrock of “for the Glory of God and advancement of the Christian faith … ” and the Geneva Bible.

Homosexuality is debauchery. God’s loyalty and fidelity — that guard the nation — make sustainable freedom dependent on seeking virtue. There is no “fear of God” from the Republican Party establishment today.

“Do you not know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality,Nor cheats (swindlers and thieves), nor greedy graspers, nor drunkards, nor foulmouthed revilers and slanderers, nor extortioners and robbers will inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God.” -1 Corinthians. 6:9-10

Virtue is a key component of freedom.

What homosexuals do in their bedroom is none of my business, but — politically — someone’s values are going to reign supreme.

R.L Wing, analyzing the principles of Sun Tzu, observed: “The weapons were quite different, but the armies were nearly as large and the devastation and human suffering just as profound. Today, the chariots and crossbows are gone, but the conflict, throughout the world, is exactly the same: a struggle for ideological supremacy and control of resources.” Ideological supremacy — the moral against the immoral — is the current fight within the Republican Party by establishment moderates and the biblically conservative grassroot, precinct-level ground forces.

Solomon wrote, “Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34)

The glory of a nation lies in its righteousness, not in its wealth or military might. The key to maintaining sustainable freedom is righteousness. Moral character is what preserves the nation and guarantees freedom.

Freedom always faces a fundamental moral challenge; virtue is a key component of freedom. Taking the present Republican leadership amoral route — in the end — will destroy the Republican Party, initially, and then vie for America’s freedom.

It will take nothing short of a cultural revolution for biblical arguments to be heard, much less to become material to the debate. Homosexual desire and marriage is unnatural and — more so — is a symptom of advanced cultural decay and precursor to the collapse of the Republican Party and the nation.

Os Guinness’ A Free People’s Suicide – a must read – says “Freedom requires truth and virtue. Arnold Toynbee’s repeated observation, ‘History shows that all great nations commit suicide’. But the theme of this book owes far more to Abraham Lincoln’s expressly American understanding of the challenge: ‘if destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.’”

Iowa Republican Party Chairman A.J. Spiker did a great service to America in his letter to RNC leadership:

Fellow RNC Members,

While inclusion is important, elected Republicans (we all know the …read more

Poll: Republicans’ Worst Trait Is Being ‘Inflexible,’ ‘Unwilling To Compromise’

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Americans’ most common complaint about the Republican Party is that it’s “too inflexible” and “unwilling to compromise,” according to a Gallup poll released Monday.

Asked to name what they specifically liked and disliked about the major political parties, 21 percent of those polled said the GOP was too rigid. Members of the Republican rank-and-file were even more likely to voice that complaint: 26 percent of the Republicans polled said their own party was inflexible.

The Democratic Party took the most heat over its economic policy, with 14 percent saying that it spent too much or was increasing the budget deficit.
