By The Huffington Post News Editors

A site that juxtaposes handsome men with cute kittens is going viral.

We just have one question: Why did it take so long for someone to come up with this?

Featuring furry felines emulating the poses of male models, dancers and celebs like David Beckham, Bradley Cooper and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, ‘Des Hommes et des Chatons‘ is pure genius:

Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s 1997 ‘Jeopardy’ Appearance Might Be His Cutest Role Ever (VIDEO)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Long before he was starring in every other box office hit, Joseph Gordon-Levitt was just an enthusiastic kid with a love of trivia … and long hair.

In the episode above, 16-year-old Gordon-Levitt is sporting his classic “3rd Rock From The Sun” ‘do and killing it on a 1997 episode of “Celebrity Jeopardy,” where he was pitted against Kirsten Dunst and Benjamin Salisbury, who played the middle Sheffield child on “The Nanny.”

When host Alex Trebeck read, “Holden Calfield, the hero of this Salinger novel, hates movies, phones, and his classmate Ernest Morrow,” Gordon-Levitt (who went by “Joey” at the time) interrupted with some “ooh ooh’s.” Then, he responded excitedly, “What is ‘Catcher In The Rye?’ I’m so excited! That’s my favorite book.”

Tony Danza, ‘Don Jon’ Star, On Joseph Gordon-Levitt: ‘You Can Play Anything, You Pain In The Ass’

By The Huffington Post News Editors

“Don Jon,” Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s debut as a writer and director, includes many shocking moments, but perhaps none more than the reemergence of Tony Danza. In a story about the way men and women objectify each other through the cultural lens of pornography and romantic comedies, it’s the 62-year-old Brooklyn native — playing Gordon-Levitt’s brusque, onscreen father — who steals his scenes with the fervor of a New Jersey dad devouring a plate of ziti and gravy.

“He said he wrote it with me in mind. That’s not bad. That’s pretty good,” Danza, who hasn’t appeared in a film since 2004’s “Crash,” told HuffPost Entertainment at the South By Southwest Film Festival this week. Ahead, Danza recalls why he thought Gordon-Levitt would make a good director, how being a prominent Italian shapes his career choices and why he thinks “Crash” won Best Picture.

It’s great to see you in a movie.

JGL Talks Sin City: A Dame to Kill For

While promoting his directorial debut Don Jon’s Addiction at SXSW this weekend in Austin, TX, Joseph Gordon-Levitt was asked about his experience working on Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller’s upcoming Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.

In the comic book sequel, JGL plays Jonny, a brand new character in the Sin City universe, who will appear in the segment titled “The Long Bad Night” — which isn’t based on any of Miller’s previous comics.

“It’s interesting. They wanted to have a movie where fans of the books would still be able to look forward to something new and unexpected, so they added a story,” Gordon-Levitt told Coming Soon. “I remember being really intrigued by that and I was really looking forward to, ‘Oh that will be so interesting to have the actual comics to refer to as an actor’ but no I didn’t.”

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Sally Field Oscars 2013: A ‘Mom’s’ Quick Fix For The Show’s First Timer (PHOTO)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

What goes around comes around: A month and a half after Joseph Gordon-Levitt resourcefully fixed Anne Hathaway’s dress, Sally Field came to his rescue tonight (Feb. 24) and helped him with his bow tie.

JGL uploaded this adorable photo of himself with Best Supporting Actress nominee Field (“Lincoln”) to his Tumblr blog and wrote “Sally did indeed know how to tie a bow tie! I thought she would. #Oscars.” In “Lincoln,” JGL plays Field’s son, so all of this makes perfect sense.

Levitt is a special guest in tonight’s Oscar ceremony, his first time appearing on the show. He’ll be joined by fellow first-timers Channing Tatum and Daniel Radcliffe.

Guardians of the Galaxy Casts Its Lead

Marvel Studios has cast Chris Pratt (Moneyball, Zero Dark Thirty, television’s Parks and Recreation) as the lead in Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadline reports.

The studio has been on the search for the right actor to play Starlord in Marvel’s wild card in its cinematic universe.  James Gunn will direct Pratt as the leader of the Guardians who is the child of an alien father and human mother.

The outlet reports that Marvel made “test deals with Zero Dark Thirty‘s Joel Edgerton, Boardwalk Empire‘s Jack Huston, Cloud Atlas‘ Jim Sturgess, Lee Pace (who has roles in both Lincoln and The Hobbit), and Eddie Redmayne from Les Miserables. More recently, Zachary Levi was identified as a candidate. Joseph Gordon-Levitt was pursued, but he has other plans.”

Batman Reboot Pushed Until 2017?

Rumor has it that the Dark Knight‘s next solo movie is four years away.

Batman-on-Film says it’s heard that Warner Bros.’ Batman reboot won’t be released until 2017 at the earliest.

The real issue, claims BoF, is Justice League of America, which will reportedly serve as the introduction of this new post-Nolan Batman. Should JLA flop, it may spell big trouble for Warners’ plans for this new incarnation of the DC character on the big screen.

Meanwhile, Joseph Gordon-Levitt has shot down the notion of him playing Batman in either JLA or the Batman reboot. “I don’t think you should believe in any of (the rumors),” the actor told MTV. “If there’s something I’m going to be in, I’m going to tell you about it.”
