Sunday 7/28/13 Pastor Michael sermon Left Behind: What Happens to No

Sunday 7/28/13 Pastor Michael sermon Left Behind: What Happens to Non-Believers during the Tribulation Revelation 6:9-11

We are living in a time that there are things happening in our world that have never happened before. The killing of thousands and weather that causes mass destruction is happening all over the world. Jesus said these things would be happening in the end times. For believers we have no worry. We are protected from ALL of the destructions that happen in the end times. We, the believer, escape. The world wants us to be fearful but we will not fear. The Bible prophesized of the things that are happening. The love of many will wax cold. Today people kill each other with no problem and without a second thought. Men become lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God!

We must celebrate our Faith because our Faith is our ticket out of the terrible times to come. Our Faith will protect us from disaster! Christ died for us and snatched us back from near destruction. In the text, John sees the things that are to happen. He sees the seven seals opened by the Lamb, Jesus Christ, the Resurrected one. John sees the raptured, the believing ones that are caught up. The dead in Christ shall rise first and we who remain shall be caught up to meet Jesus in the sky. These are the born again believers that are taken up and don’t have to go thru the tribulation period.

Right now there are approx. 7 billion people living on earth today. Approximately 1.6 billion of them are saved. Almost 6 billion people will be left behind if the Rapture would happen today. Those people left behind fall into three categories:

1) The Person Who is Uncertain:

This is a non-believer that doesn’t want to make a commitment. He is seeking some religious experience but will stay neutral. He doesn’t commit to anything. An Agnostic=denying God’s personal existence. They don’t believe God is a personal God. Nicodemus was an agnostic. He came to see Jesus at night when no one would see him.

We know Jesus is Real, God is Real! And we know that He has picked us up, woke us up this morning and brought us to church today! We have a relationship with God and He comes and rescues us from our mess! We cannot see it but we know that it is real. We know it thru our heart and not our intellect. We are born again believers and we have FAITH!! We know it’s REAL!!

2) The Unwilling People:

They are skeptical to any beliefs concerning a God and don’t want to investigate anything. An Antagonist=they ask …read more

Watching ObamaCare Unfold (Or Maybe Unravel)

By Michael D. Shaw

Obamacare Not Priceless SC Watching ObamaCare Unfold (Or Maybe Unravel)

Americans will remember the oft-repeated promise made by Obama in 2008, whereby health insurance premiums for American families would be cut by $2500 within his first term. Presumably, he based this contention on a memo written for his campaign in May 2007 by three well-regarded experts from Harvard: David Blumenthal, David Cutler, and Jeffrey Liebman.

As they stated:

Combining all of these effects—from improved health IT, better disease management, reduced insurance overhead, reinsurance, and reduced uncompensated care —under our “best-guess” assumptions, we estimate that businesses will save $140 billion annually in insurance premiums. The typical family will save $2500 per year.

In reality, you would be hard-pressed to find anyone whose premiums have decreased. Rather, according to the latest annual Kaiser Family Foundation employee health benefits survey, premiums for employer-provided family coverage rose $3065—a 24% increase from 2008 to 2012. Looking only at the period after ACA became law, premiums spiked 9.5% in 2011 and climbed another 4.5% in 2012.

Amazingly, the Harvard dons fell for the ridiculous notion that deploying more health IT would be some sort of transformative and revolutionary process; as if putting medical records on computer instead of in file folders would somehow save billions of dollars all by itself. Quoting again from the memo…

Greater use of information technology is one key to a more efficient health care system, along with incentives to use that technology wisely. The RAND Corporation conservatively estimated that significant investment in health IT could save $77 billion per year.

The Harvard dons relied heavily on an article published in the September/October 2005 issue of Health Affairs entitled “Promoting Health Information Technology: Is There A Case For More-Aggressive Government Action?” This article was one of seven described as “related documents” in the now infamous RAND report I discussed in a recent column. I say “infamous” since the report is now being disavowed by RAND itself and was paid for by companies that stood to—and did—make billions off the health IT push.

Notably, the same author names (including RAND stalwarts James Bigelow, Anthony Bower, and Roger Taylor) keep appearing in these documents, as these supposedly independent researchers cite themselves and each other. I don’t think that’s what we mean by “peer review.”

Our Harvard Veritas boys save the best for last, as they conclude their memo with this gem: “Thus, we believe that the Federal financing for the Obama health plan will be available using already-identified sources of revenue and without new taxes on the overwhelming majority of U.S. taxpayers.”

Unfortunately, Kathleen Sebelius and her HHS—the principal player in America’s ObamaCare funding consortium—have announced they will charge insurers a 3.5 % fee for using ObamaCare exchanges to sell their product—an estimated $100 billion to HHS over the next 10 years.  The fee is buried in 373 pages of new draft regulations written, of course, by the HHS.

What other surprises will be in store for insurers and their insureds now that the election is over? More importantly, how much will other HHS add-ons cost the REAL source of ObamaCare revenue–the American taxpayer?

Illinois Must Honor Concealed Carry Law

By Doug Book

guns SC Illinois Must Honor Concealed Carry Law

The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals has told Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan for the last time that she MUST honor the Constitution of the United States by doing away with her state’s ban on the concealed carry of firearms.

It was back in December of last year that a 3 judge panel of the Court found the Illinois law banning concealed carry to be unconstitutional. “The Supreme Court has decided that the [2nd] amendment confers a right to bear arms for self-defense, which is as important outside the home as inside,” wrote 7th Circuit Judge Richard Posner, paraphrasing the opinion of S.C. Justice Samuel Alito.  Naturally, the scrupulously liberal Madigan then petitioned the entire 10 member court, hoping that the ruling might be overturned. But the full court refused to reconsider the ruling of the panel. (1)

And now the Illinois legislature has about 4 months to rewrite its unconstitutional ban into something acceptable to groups which strictly preserve the 2ndAmendment rights of the American people. And that is the REAL question: will the ONLY remaining state to disallow concealed carry abide by the ruling of the court by creating an honest and reasonable statute? If so, it will represent a truly staggering break with the leftist-inspired, Illinois tradition of governing as though rights were privileges of which the common classes are rarely if ever deserving.

After the 2010 McDonald v Chicago decision in which the Supreme Court struck down the city’s decades-old, unconstitutional handgun ban, brainless thug Mayor Richard Daley and city officials crafted a new ordinance to “comply” with the ruling. Naturally, this group of self-serving thieves and political prostitutes sought only to defy the Court with an ordinance which limited each person to ONE operable weapon; allowed no gun to be taken outside the home; prohibited the existence of gun stores and firing ranges within the city; mandated “approved” training and marksmanship; charged $100 for a 3 year pistol permit; banned handguns the police superintendent considered “unsafe due to their size” and, of course, required fingerprinting of gun owners and registration of their weapons.  Needless to say, these provisions did NOT apply to law enforcement or certain city officials. (2)

Since that time, constitutional rights groups have been in court with the City of Chicago on a seemingly daily basis, suing to terminate the Daley legacy of wanton abrogation of liberty. On three occasions, the city has lost court decisions to the NRA and twice Rahm Emanuel has decided to amend the Daley ordinance, “…conceding that the city had little chance of successfully defending lawsuits against certain aspects of it.” (3)

Incredibly, Chicago City Corporation Counsel Steve Patton has accused the NRA and others of “…cherry-pick[ing] the things they thought they could marshal a challenge (on).” How does one “cherry-pick” UNCONSTITUTIONAL provisions in a city ordinance? Could anything be more typical of a Chicago official than to whine because the city’s assault on freedom has been found unacceptable by those who prefer liberty to the beneficent dictatorship of nanny-state hoodlums!

Janet Napolitano Suggests We Fight Back Against “active Shooters”– With SCISSORS!

By Doug Book

Napolitano SC Janet Napolitano suggests we fight back against “active shooters”– with SCISSORS!

In July of 2012, Janet Napolitano’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) produced a “show and tell” video instructing Americans on the best course of action should they suddenly find themselves in an “active shooter” situation.

Entitled Run, Hide, Fightthe Big Sis-approved, 6 minute epic provided potential victims with crucial advice, such as “run away” and “remain out of sight of the shooter.” Naturally, that’s the sort of counsel only government can provide.

Noticeably absent from the DHS tutorial, however, was any discussion of REAL weapons in the hands of prospective victims. Apparently, firearms were not permitted in the “gun free zone” building chosen by the Mayor of Houston for the making of the Department-sponsored film.

But then, to be fair, one 12 gauge pump did play a part in the video. In fact, it was used by the principal character—a muscular, clean-cut fellow who looked all the world like a former Marine D.I. or Republican congressman until he began mowing down unsuspecting fellow actors. Well, the DHS did warn us about those dangerous returning vets and Constitution-loving, right-wing extremists, didn’t it?!

This week, the Napolitano film crew introduced Options for Consideration, the 2013 version of its Run, Hide, Fight fantasy. Once again, potential victims run, hide, and fight UNARMED just as they had in 2012. But this year’s video lacks the one thing that added a sense of reality to the 2012 offering— the shooter!  Replacing that fearsome looking, faux-Republican in the 2013 video are views of people scurrying to the exits and crawling under desks. But the feel of “authenticity” is lacking.

See, in last year’s film, the scary conservative with the close-cropped hair calmly pulled his 12 gauge tactical pump from a backpack, fired all six shells, and strolled to the next populated area. Now that’s REALISM! After all, any shooter in a Democrat-imposed “gun free zone” KNOWS he has all the time in the world to reload and pick off more targets as no one in the building will be armed and able to threaten him. In fact, the murderous GOP wanna-be in Janet’s movie didn’t even feel the need to use one of those infamous “assault weapons” with a “30 round magazine”!!

But give Big Sis credit for interjecting a little humor this year. For as the serious-sounding narrator advises anyone “caught out in the open” to “try to overpower the shooter with anything at [their] disposal,” the camera actually pans to a hand removing a pair of scissors from a desk drawer!

That’s right! Just as the school-aged children of Barack Obama and other DC politicians are protected by armed guards and 535 members of Congress enjoy armed security throughout the Capitol building, we the wretched refuse are told that we needn’t worry either. For should the unexpected ever happen, all we have to do is open the nearest drawer!

But you’d better hope like Hell you can crawl in! Because scissors aren’t going to help; and if there’s a gun in there, you’ll undoubtedly be SHOT by first responders who are trained so that no “law abiding” citizen could possibly be armed.

Enjoy the Super Bowl tomorrow.

The NEXT STEP For Fair Elections In 2014 And 2016

By Kirsten Smith

I Voted SC The NEXT STEP for Fair Elections in 2014 And 2016

There are several great organizations documenting REAL voter fraud. There are also many local news reports from ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX confirming or reporting on such antics. Unfortunately, these stories never make it to the national news. Apparently, the Big News Networks and national newspapers do not find it newsworthy. The mass of evidence is far beyond anecdotal, as those large media outlets would like the public to believe. Many articles in the media have attempted to make laughing stocks of those reporting on these topics. Don’t be fooled; this is an attempt to discredit by mockery.

In a previous article, I provide a list of remedies to virtually eliminate voter fraud. The list is not rocket science! The list of solutions is purely logical, simple, and common-sense; anyone with a problem-solving ability could have done the same. Many have; some of the ideas are not new but are not typically presented in a comprehensive solutions plan.

Human nature seems to prevail. The daily drama of the never-ending 24/7 news cycle have taken our eyes off the ball. It is more fun and entertaining to see the newest of stories each day than to take action for long-term fixes. When the election cycles of 2014 and 2016 roll around, we will again be shocked and have more dramatic news accounts of fraud. Sadly, they will have been preventable. What have we done to fix it? Many have tried, but this seems to be a solo effort; the parties do not collaborate.

Enforcing existing law is not a solution. Nor is reporting on the fraud without purposeful action to remedy the loopholes.

Voter fraud is not selective in a political side; all sides have been caught red-handed in the action over history. However, we now have a problem that is more one-sided; and those currently in power who intentionally benefit from fraud look the other way. It is no longer a problem of a few instances; we now have a deliberate institutional underground that is promoting illegal activities, primarily in the swing states that have the potential to sway the election results. Some of these organizations, ACORN and it’s new offshoots, have been documented as surviving at the expense of the Federal Government.

Important local elections are also in jeopardy. The problem is widespread and accepted.

This is America, folks! We should feel embarrassed and ashamed that our voting system is so broken. Many 3rd world nations have systems that outshine our voting system. So often, the infrastructure is deemed as needing to be brought up to the 21st Century; why are our voting laws and system so antiquated? Where are the progressives on this issue of infrastructure updates? More importantly, where are the conservatives legislators and grassroots groups?

Seriously, how hard is it to make this happen? For those who oppose this complete overhaul of infrastructure, I ask you a simple question: WHY?

The following sites document and promote existing voter law enforcement or document voter fraud. Why can’t conservatives collaborate and support a comprehensive voter fraud legislation package?
