Video: Forget George Zimmerman–Watch Out For George Brotherman

By capblack

I attended the Baton Rouge “Justice For Trayvon” rally this weekend and witnessed Democratic operatives doing GOTV (Get Out The Vote) and urging rollbacks of Stand Your Ground-style legislation, with gun bans lurking unsaid in the background. And there was NO mention of epidemic Black On Black crime except for ONE speaker!!

Barack Obama: America’s Marquis De Sade

By Robert Warner

President Obama face WH photo SC Barack Obama: America’s Marquis de Sade

As the pain from Barack Obama’s daily attacks on our freedom builds, it is important to keep several things in mind.

For example, today’s headline: Internal Government Email: Make Sequester Cuts As Painful As Possible

Obama is the one who proposed the sequester in the first place: White House Admits (Third Time) President Obama Fibbed On Sequester.

Obama is the one who promised to veto any attempt to remove the sequester cuts: Video: Obama Promises to Veto Attempts to Remove “Painful” Sequester Cuts.

Obama was given an opportunity to select the cuts himself: New GOP sequester plan: Let Obama decide what to cut.

Obama allowed DHS to release 2,000 illegal aliens last month in anticipation of the sequester cuts happening: AP: 2,000 illegals released by DHS, Not 500. Keep in mind that current Obama illegal alien deportation policy is to only incarcerate and deport REPEAT and VIOLENT OFFENDERS only! Obama Refuses to Deport Illegal Aliens BEFORE They Commit Vicious Crimes. DHS is also planning to release 3,000 more during the month of March: DHS Released 2,000 Illegal Immigrants, Plans to Release 3,000 More in March.

Finally, Obama is the one who signed it into law when he had the ability to veto the bill.

To recap, Obama created the problem, prevented the problem from being solved, turned down the chance to minimize the problem, released 2,000 repeat offender and/or violent illegal aliens before the problem became a problem, passed the problem into law instead of vetoing it, and is now making sure (behind the scenes) that the problem is every bit as painful as it possibly could be.

How does it feel to know that your President is willing to do all of the above, at the expense of the nation, as a political ploy to be used in the 2014 mid-term elections? After all, he just can’t get things done because of those pesky Republicans in the House. If only he were a Dictator, things would’ve gone differently…Obama: ‘I Am Not a Dictator’.

If these facts don’t get you ready to fight from now until 2014 and beyond, you are reading the wrong site.

By the way, the sequester disgrace is a story of intrigue, conspiracy, and deliberate betrayal of the American people; yet not ONE of the above headlines relating that story was gleaned from a “mainstream media” source! Isn’t it just a little frightening that the complete news cycle of any given day can be captured in front of a computer while the principle news resources of an entire nation for the last 50 years—newspapers and television—have, by design, left their customers in the dark?

The most transparent administration ever has had a lot of help.

ERP – MES Interface – several function

By Noobie1995

Hi all,

I am a rookie regarding shell script programming, YET!! 🙂

Hence, I have choosen a problem from my bad side of life (my job) and I wil try to solve it by using a shell script and get knowledge concerning shell script programming.

Question: As you can see I have already figured out how to use a function, variables, different standard funtions (if, loops,etc). But I struggeld by using the printf function in order to add blanks to string. If the string which I pass into the function is longer than 40 digits then the printf function has to shorten string to 40 digits. This function works perfectly but if the string is shorter than 40 digits then the printf function has to add blanks until the string has a lenght of 40 digits but this part of my shell script doesn’t work 😡 !!! The function adds only ONE blank

#!/bin/bash
fkt_auffuellen()
{
case $1 in
"C")
if [ ${#2} -eq $3 ]; then
value=$2
elif [ ${#2} -lt $3 ]; then
value="$(printf "%-$3s" $2)"
else
value="$(printf "%.$3s" $2)"
fi;;
"N")
;;
"D")
;;
esac
}
vorg_nr_t=C
vorg_nr="AUFTRAG005-010010"
vorg_nr_l=40
fkt_auffuellen $vorg_nr_t $vorg_nr $vorg_nr_l
echo $value

if anyone can give an advice it would be great!!!!

Thanks in advance and cold but sunny greetings form BERLIN Area!

Illinois Must Honor Concealed Carry Law

By Doug Book

guns SC Illinois Must Honor Concealed Carry Law

The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals has told Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan for the last time that she MUST honor the Constitution of the United States by doing away with her state’s ban on the concealed carry of firearms.

It was back in December of last year that a 3 judge panel of the Court found the Illinois law banning concealed carry to be unconstitutional. “The Supreme Court has decided that the [2nd] amendment confers a right to bear arms for self-defense, which is as important outside the home as inside,” wrote 7th Circuit Judge Richard Posner, paraphrasing the opinion of S.C. Justice Samuel Alito.  Naturally, the scrupulously liberal Madigan then petitioned the entire 10 member court, hoping that the ruling might be overturned. But the full court refused to reconsider the ruling of the panel. (1)

And now the Illinois legislature has about 4 months to rewrite its unconstitutional ban into something acceptable to groups which strictly preserve the 2ndAmendment rights of the American people. And that is the REAL question: will the ONLY remaining state to disallow concealed carry abide by the ruling of the court by creating an honest and reasonable statute? If so, it will represent a truly staggering break with the leftist-inspired, Illinois tradition of governing as though rights were privileges of which the common classes are rarely if ever deserving.

After the 2010 McDonald v Chicago decision in which the Supreme Court struck down the city’s decades-old, unconstitutional handgun ban, brainless thug Mayor Richard Daley and city officials crafted a new ordinance to “comply” with the ruling. Naturally, this group of self-serving thieves and political prostitutes sought only to defy the Court with an ordinance which limited each person to ONE operable weapon; allowed no gun to be taken outside the home; prohibited the existence of gun stores and firing ranges within the city; mandated “approved” training and marksmanship; charged $100 for a 3 year pistol permit; banned handguns the police superintendent considered “unsafe due to their size” and, of course, required fingerprinting of gun owners and registration of their weapons.  Needless to say, these provisions did NOT apply to law enforcement or certain city officials. (2)

Since that time, constitutional rights groups have been in court with the City of Chicago on a seemingly daily basis, suing to terminate the Daley legacy of wanton abrogation of liberty. On three occasions, the city has lost court decisions to the NRA and twice Rahm Emanuel has decided to amend the Daley ordinance, “…conceding that the city had little chance of successfully defending lawsuits against certain aspects of it.” (3)

Incredibly, Chicago City Corporation Counsel Steve Patton has accused the NRA and others of “…cherry-pick[ing] the things they thought they could marshal a challenge (on).” How does one “cherry-pick” UNCONSTITUTIONAL provisions in a city ordinance? Could anything be more typical of a Chicago official than to whine because the city’s assault on freedom has been found unacceptable by those who prefer liberty to the beneficent dictatorship of nanny-state hoodlums!

[Help] Grep, Variables, IF statements… Fun

By JonLaberge

Hello, this will be my first post. I’ve been browsing around for a bit and have found a lot of useful information on here, hopefully a solution can be provided to me.

Issue:

Alright, I am looking to search for strings within a file using variables.

I have a script that will accept 3 or 4 parameters, 3 is required 4th isn’t mandatory.

I would like to search the text file for the 3 parameters matching within the same line, if they do match then I want to remove that line and replace it with my new one, basically it would update the 4th parameter if set, and avoid duplicate entries.

Currently this is what I have gotten:

input= egrep -e ‘$domains+$types+$item’ ~/etc/security/limits.conf

if [ “$input” == “” ]; then

echo $domain $type $item $value >>~/etc/security/limits.conf

echo “$domain” “$type” “$item” “$value” has been successfully added to your limits.conf file.

else
cat ~/etc/security/limits.conf | egrep -v “$domain|$type|$item” >~/etc/security/limits.conf1
rm -rf ~/etc/security/limits.conf
mv ~/etc/security/limits.conf1 ~/etc/security/limits.conf

echo $domain $type $item $value >>~/etc/security/limits.conf

echo “$domain” “$type” “$item” “$value” has been successfully added to your limits.conf file.
exit 0
fi

Now I already know that the input=egrep etc.. will not work, it works if I hard code some values but it won’t accept that variables. Basically I have domain=$1, type=$2 and so on.

I would like it so that if all 3 variables are not matched within ONE line, than it will just append the parameters to the end of the file, BUT if the parameters do match then I want them to be deleted. and appended to the file. I know I can use other things like sed and awk, but I have yet to learn it, I don’t mind learning how to use other commands if there’s any express lessons that could be given to me for this instance before I start learning them in class.

This is for a school assignment, and all help is very much appreciated, but I’d also like to learn why and how it works/doesn’t so if you can provide answers to that as well that would be great !

Not quite sure if my “if statement” used to decide between if the parameters exist or not is even that strong or good, but I am new to programming, scripting “bashing” so I welcome all constructive criticism

Thank you,
Jon

Would Y: The Last Man Be Better as a TV Show?

Y: The Last Man by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra is one of the most glorious comic books one can experience. It is not only the crowning achievement of both creators’ comic book work to date, but no doubt in the top tier of the comic book industry’s finest pieces of work in the last decade. Explaining why is another Hero Worship column – and another thorough re-read – entirely, but suffice to say that if you like your comics of the “awesome” variety, Y: The Last Man should be on your bookshelf.

One of the things that the series, and Vaughan as a writer in general, has on its side is a mastery of the cliffhanger. It’s admittedly been a while since I read the series in full, but I honestly can’t remember one single issue of the series that left me without a “I’ll just read ONE more…” feeling at the end. But as much as Y: The Last Man is an achievement in serial storytelling structurally, it’s even more successful in the mysteries, characters, and relationships it cautiously builds throughout its 60 issues.
