Existing both as a breath of fresh air and a sad reminder of what apparently isn’t to come, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox is one of the better DC Animated movies to come down the pike in quite a while. The film feels unique and vibrant if only for the fact that it’s the painfully rare DCAU title that doesn’t revolve around Batman, Superman, or a Batman/Superman-led Justice League. The title says “Justice League” and the legendary heroes do make appearances in a manner of speaking, but this one is a Flash adventure through-and-through. Aside from merely highlighting one of the many oft-ignored would-be heavy hitters of the DCU, the film is a mostly ripping action film that entertains from start to finish.
