Fashion Icon Minnie Mouse Lands Love Magazine's Latest Cover

By Justin Fenner

If imitation is the highest form of flattery, then Minnie Mouse should feel very flattered by the covers of Love Magazine‘s fifth anniversary issue.

“As work began on this issue, that famous Herb Ritts shot of Madonna popped up on my Instagram feed, the one where she’s in bed wearing the Minnie Mouse ears,” said Love editor Katie Grand. “So we set about getting my favorite models in Minnie Mouse ears. . . . But that wasn’t enough. We had to get Minnie Mouse herself in on the act too.”

The end result is six covers that feature Minnie Mouse and models Cara Delevingne, Georgia May Jagger, Edie Campbell, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Chiharu Okunugi. Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott photographed them wearing mouse-ear headbands created by the likes of Gucci, Miu Miu, Loewe, and Marc by Marc Jacobs.

A look at some of the covers and the headbands here in the gallery.

Coco Rocha Singing In Cavalli Short Film Is Pretty Impressive (VIDEO)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Just as many models have crossed over into acting , plenty of models try their hand at singing. Some do it well (what’s up, Karen Elson); others, not so much.

Coco Rocha is the latest to dabble in the vocal arts, teaming up with Roberto Cavalli for a short film called “Coco Cavalli.” Shot in partnership with Hunger magazine, the video features a Cavalli-clad Ms. Rocha doing her best Jack White impression while rocking out to pretty catchy tune.

We already knew she was multi-talented — have you seen the girl Irish dance? Plus, the 24-year-old has already branched out with her mentor gig on “The Face” and has mentioned that she would love to get into acting. Think she’ll join the ranks of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Brooklyn Decker and make Hollywood her next destination?

25 Things You (Probably) Didn't Know About Jason Statham

Somewhere between the high octane Transporter movies and amphetamine-explosion of Crank, Jason Statham transformed into The Stath: an unashamedly irony-free, quip-happy, stunt-berserk superhero to cheer on as he scissor-kicks baddies’ noses into their frontal lobes – old school action’s last man standing. Off-screen, he’s the strong, silent type, preferring to be modest about his martial arts and driving skills and quiet about his personal life – though it’s difficult to be low-key with the likes of Kelly Brook and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on your arm. With this week’s Parker about to throw him reluctantly over the balcony of publicity once again, here’s 25 facts you (probably) didn’t know about The Stath…

Flash Mobs

As origin stories go, Mario Testino‘s is a pretty good one. “Years ago, Madonna introduced me to Gianni Versace,” he recalled at the opening of an exhibition of his work at L.A.’s Prism Gallery. “That opened up a lot of doors for me. At the time, I was completely unknown.”

“Unknown” wouldn’t be the word today. Alessandra Ambrosio, André Balazs, Kim Kardashian, and Zac Posen were among the many who crowded the vernissage of Testino’s first gallery showing in the U.S. in seven years. And even for the constantly photographed, Testino stands alone. “He captures the realness in people,” Kardashian said. “He gets them—both as being glamorous and also natural.” Ambrosio confirmed, saying, “He captures the moment—from the colors to the attitude. No matter who he’s shooting, there’s always attitude in the pictures.”

For the photographer, the evening was a rare moment on the other side of the lens, both literally and figuratively. “It’s funny, because we fashion photographers do our work. We’re not usually in front of the firing squad, and sometimes exposing your work in this manner feels like that,” he said. “But it’s great to be here.”

At nearby Madeo, an equally glamorous crowd had gathered for Chanel and Charles Finch‘s annual pre-Oscars dinner. There seemed hardly a corner that wasn’t clogged with star power. At one end of the restaurant sat the young Hollywood crowd, including Chloë Moretz, Gia Coppola, and Zoë Kravitz, there with mom Lisa Bonet; farther inside, Liberty Ross stopped to talk to Liz Goldwyn while Rachel Zoe and Marisa Tomei looked on. In the back were the blondes: Kate Bosworth, Poppy Delevingne, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley all sat together. As would be expected, Oscar talk dominated the conversations. “I loved Django Unchained, and I loved Life of Pi,” Huntington-Whiteley said. “We’ll have to see what goes on tomorrow.” But even the biggest night of the year in Hollywood couldn’t keep anyone at home the night before. “I’ve been invited to a lovely dinner,” the model exclaimed. “I’d be a crazy woman not to accept.”

Golden Globes 2013: The Very Best Looks From the Red Carpet

By Christina Perez

Last season’s runway rivalry didn’t quite reprise itself on Sunday’s Golden Globes red carpet – but almost. Hedi Slimane‘s new vision for Saint Laurent found a muse in Rosie Huntington-Whiteley; the model-actress (and her Angelina-esque right leg) looked divine in Spring 2013’s gauzy, bow-necked halter gown. Meanwhile, Raf Simons‘s modern Christian Dior was out in full force on not one but two lovely leading ladies. Jennifer Lawrence – who took home the Globe for her work in Silver Linings Playbook – made a strong case for minimalism in the label’s Fall 2012 crimson Couture ballgown, while Marion Cotillard was a vision of modern-day sweetness in a custom asymmetrical strapless shift.

But Slimane and Simons weren’t the only big-name designers who made an impact on the red carpet. Zac Posen was well-represented; not only did the designer dress Naomi Watts in a gorgeous merlot gown from his Pre-Fall 2013 collection, but he also dressed the night’s big winner Lena Dunham in a raisin-hued gown complete with Posen’s signature body-flattering seaming. Oscar de la Renta, too, had a strong showing. Jessica Alba looked dreamy in the designer’s Pre-Fall 2013 sherbet-colored trumpet dress, while Zooey Deschanel glowed in a vivid red strapless number.

Click through to see all those – plus Jessica Chastain‘s seafoam Calvin Klein, Kathryn Bigelow‘s embellished Prada, Sienna Miller‘s pale pink Erdem, and more – right here in our roundup of the very best looks from 2013 Golden Globes night.
