Alessandra Ambrosio, Victoria’s Secret Angel, Can Totally Pull Off This Micro-Mini (PHOTO)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Whether you’ve caught a glimpse of her strutting down the Victoria’s Secret runway, seen her face on a billboard for Christian Dior or Ralph Lauren, or spotted her on Forbes’ top-earning models list, chances are you know Alessandra Ambrosio (and her rock-hard abs). The Brazilian beauty got her start at an Elite Model Look competition and has gone on to become one of the most talked about models in the business.

In celebration of her 32nd birthday (we know, 32 has never looked so good), we are taking a look back at an old photo of the supermodel. In this 2003 shot, we see Ambrosio at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After Party, looking rather scantily clad in a risqué ensemble. The 5’9″ stunner is seen laughing in an off-the-shoulder top, matching white scarf and micro-mini skirt (but hey, if anyone can pull off a short hemline, it’s a Victoria’s Secret Angel). Ambrosio looks amazing here… and it’s pretty obvious that today, two children later, she still looks the same. We must find out this lady’s secrets.

By Justin Fenner

Andy Warhol’s drawings may have been featured on looks from Raf Simons‘s Fall 2013 collection for Dior, but its name came from one of the most famous paintings by Salvador Dalí. Simons, who drew on formative moments in his life and in Christian Dior‘s, named his show The Persistence of Memory.

Spring 2013 Couture Reveals Bevy Of Oscar-Worthy Gowns

By Jane Lee, Forbes Staff Paris, three days, the world’s finest ateliers. The conditions were ripe for red carpet candidates at the Spring 2013 Couture shows. Runways filled with haute couture gowns largely embraced a garden motif, though interpreted it in different ways. Raf Simons, the newly-anointed creative savant behind Christian Dior, sent out a number of crisp, ballet-length dresses—perfect for unfussy, young starlets—down a set of groomed hedges.

Golden Globes 2013: The Very Best Looks From the Red Carpet

By Christina Perez

Last season’s runway rivalry didn’t quite reprise itself on Sunday’s Golden Globes red carpet – but almost. Hedi Slimane‘s new vision for Saint Laurent found a muse in Rosie Huntington-Whiteley; the model-actress (and her Angelina-esque right leg) looked divine in Spring 2013’s gauzy, bow-necked halter gown. Meanwhile, Raf Simons‘s modern Christian Dior was out in full force on not one but two lovely leading ladies. Jennifer Lawrence – who took home the Globe for her work in Silver Linings Playbook – made a strong case for minimalism in the label’s Fall 2012 crimson Couture ballgown, while Marion Cotillard was a vision of modern-day sweetness in a custom asymmetrical strapless shift.

But Slimane and Simons weren’t the only big-name designers who made an impact on the red carpet. Zac Posen was well-represented; not only did the designer dress Naomi Watts in a gorgeous merlot gown from his Pre-Fall 2013 collection, but he also dressed the night’s big winner Lena Dunham in a raisin-hued gown complete with Posen’s signature body-flattering seaming. Oscar de la Renta, too, had a strong showing. Jessica Alba looked dreamy in the designer’s Pre-Fall 2013 sherbet-colored trumpet dress, while Zooey Deschanel glowed in a vivid red strapless number.

Click through to see all those – plus Jessica Chastain‘s seafoam Calvin Klein, Kathryn Bigelow‘s embellished Prada, Sienna Miller‘s pale pink Erdem, and more – right here in our roundup of the very best looks from 2013 Golden Globes night.
