Gisele Bunchen’s Baby Picture Is Pretty Darn Adorable (PHOTOS)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Before she was a Victoria’s Secret Angel and deemed Forbes’ “most powerful” model in the world, Gisele Bundchen was just another adorable toddler in Brazil.

We know, we know: Shocking. But we think it’s always funny to see supermodels before they were famous, when their mom or dad — not Mario Testino — was the one capturing their gorgeous faces on camera.

Below, see a photo of Gisele, her twin sister Pati and her younger sister Gabi from 1982 that the model posted to Instagram yesterday… because we all deserve a dose of cuteness on a Friday afternoon.

Eat Drink Man Woman

When he’s in the city where he first made it big, Michael Kors tends not to throw fancy dinner parties. “At the beach, certainly. But in New York, it’s work, work, work,” the designer told Style.com on Saturday night, at an intimate sit-down he was hosting at the Four Seasons’ Grill Room for the likes of Hilary Rhoda and Mario Testino. There was a bit of work involved, but not of the usual sort. The occasion was the launch of a new partnership between Michael Kors and the UN’s World Food Programme, for which the label has created two new styles of its best-selling Runway watch; for each one sold, 100 meals go to hungry children.

Halle Berry, who’s helping promote the cause, made her first outing since the announcement (well, TMZ discovery, to be precise) that she’s got a second child on the way. Of Kors, she said, “He’s all about walking the walk.” The two will be hitting the ground together at some point for a site visit, probably in Africa, the actress said, but haven’t decided where and when. “I’m pregnant, so I can’t go to places where I have to get a lot of vaccines.”

For both charity-minded stars, the initiative represents a global expansion of their philanthropic efforts. (Kors has been working with God’s Love We Deliver, a New York organization that provides meals to the ill, for about two decades.) “The World Food Programme has no borders,” Kors pointed out. “Regardless of war, drought—they have the trucks, the planes, the people on the ground, and the access to the food.”

An impressive operation, to be sure, and one that deals with problems that can seem worlds away from soigné evenings like this one, where the major dilemma was the address mix-up that caused some models to arrive a few minutes late. Confessed Constance Jablonski, “We went to the wrong Four Seasons!”

Fit For a Princess: The Late Diana's Dress Auction Estimated to Raise Over $900,000

By Justin Fenner

Ten iconic dresses that once belonged to the late Princess Diana will hit the auction block in London today, and altogether they’re expected to fetch close to a million dollars.

“Diana was photographed wearing them not only by the paparazzi, but by some of the leading photographers of the day – including Mario Testino and Lord Snowdon,” according to Kerry Taylor Auctions, which is hosting the sale.

The auction includes a black velvet dress by Victor Edelstein that the princess wore when she danced with John Travolta at a White House state dinner in 1985, and a blue sequined Catherine Walker gown she wore on a visit to Austria in 1989.

A look at all the dresses – and how much they’re expected to get at auction – here in the gallery.

Flash Mobs

As origin stories go, Mario Testino‘s is a pretty good one. “Years ago, Madonna introduced me to Gianni Versace,” he recalled at the opening of an exhibition of his work at L.A.’s Prism Gallery. “That opened up a lot of doors for me. At the time, I was completely unknown.”

“Unknown” wouldn’t be the word today. Alessandra Ambrosio, André Balazs, Kim Kardashian, and Zac Posen were among the many who crowded the vernissage of Testino’s first gallery showing in the U.S. in seven years. And even for the constantly photographed, Testino stands alone. “He captures the realness in people,” Kardashian said. “He gets them—both as being glamorous and also natural.” Ambrosio confirmed, saying, “He captures the moment—from the colors to the attitude. No matter who he’s shooting, there’s always attitude in the pictures.”

For the photographer, the evening was a rare moment on the other side of the lens, both literally and figuratively. “It’s funny, because we fashion photographers do our work. We’re not usually in front of the firing squad, and sometimes exposing your work in this manner feels like that,” he said. “But it’s great to be here.”

At nearby Madeo, an equally glamorous crowd had gathered for Chanel and Charles Finch‘s annual pre-Oscars dinner. There seemed hardly a corner that wasn’t clogged with star power. At one end of the restaurant sat the young Hollywood crowd, including Chloë Moretz, Gia Coppola, and Zoë Kravitz, there with mom Lisa Bonet; farther inside, Liberty Ross stopped to talk to Liz Goldwyn while Rachel Zoe and Marisa Tomei looked on. In the back were the blondes: Kate Bosworth, Poppy Delevingne, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley all sat together. As would be expected, Oscar talk dominated the conversations. “I loved Django Unchained, and I loved Life of Pi,” Huntington-Whiteley said. “We’ll have to see what goes on tomorrow.” But even the biggest night of the year in Hollywood couldn’t keep anyone at home the night before. “I’ve been invited to a lovely dinner,” the model exclaimed. “I’d be a crazy woman not to accept.”
