Was Diane Kruger Having an Off Year?

By Randy Miller

Was 2013 not Diane Kruger‘s year? Vanity Fair may think so. Among the shocking omissions and additions to the annual International Best-Dressed List, the ultrastylish dresser was excluded after having ranked in 2012.

Which isn’t to say there weren’t some stellar dressers on the list, which happily includes Kerry Washington, Jenna Lyons, Dree Hemingway, Caroline Issa, Lara Stone, Charlize Theron, Stella Tennant, and Tabitha Simmons. Snubs (or decisions construed as such) aren’t uncommon when compiling a list – everyone’s got an opinion, after all – but a few names that appeared (or didn’t) made us sit up and take notice. …read more

Spring Forward: Stars Who Are Already Wearing Fall Clothes

By Randy Miller

Certain pieces scream Fall – chunky knits, fur coats, tweed skirts – and then there are those items that can’t wait in the back of your closet until the weather cools. Gwyneth Paltrow, Diane Kruger, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Zoe Saldana can clearly relate!

This stylish set has long walked the red carpet in next season’s best before most of us have even ripped the tags off our Summer buys. Jason Wu Fall 2013 Runway

By Melissa Liebling-Goldberg

Sexy, sophisticated and a little subversive: Diane Kruger will have plenty of pieces to love in this mostly black and white collection, filled with sharp coats, crisp white collared dresses with plenty of lace and chiffon for nighttime. Will Wu’s next wow moment come on the Oscar’s red carpet? We wouldn’t be at all surprised.

This Week's Best Dressed: Couture Edition

By Christina Perez

They’re not your average Fashion Week crowd. Those who attend the twice-yearly Couture shows in Paris give added meaning to the idea of haute, and the guests at this week’s shows were absolutely no exception.

From Daphne Guinness in her signature bespoke finery to Elena Perminova in a showstopping array of bold florals – not to mention the polished ensembles of visiting Hollywood stars Jessica Alba, Diane Kruger, and Chloë Moretz – there was so much finery on display that the snowy gardens of the Tuileries and imposing steps of the Grand Palais were like mini fashion shows all on their own.

Click through for a recap of all the very best looks from the week in Paris, and, since no best-dressed list would be complete without a little insight into Hollywood’s elite, there’s also a healthy helping of the chicest looks from Sundance and more. It’s all right here, in the slideshow.

The Chanel Couture Front Row Was Like a Mini Fashion Show

By Christina Perez

Karl’s girls were out in full force at the Chanel Spring 2013 Couture show in Paris on Tuesday. Laura Bailey, whose lately been a Chanel front-row fixture, looked the picture of gamine chic in wide-legged trousers, a striped longsleeve, and knit beret, while fellow Chanel favorite Diane Kruger channeled girlish charm in a puritan collared a-line frock. Also in attendance was Hailey Steinfeld, whose argyle cardigan and leather skirt combo made quite a statement thanks to a newsboy cap perched jauntily atop her head.

See all the notables who attended the show – including Clemence Poesy, Rita Ora, and Ana Girardot – right here.
