LOS ANGELES, April 10 (UPI) — MTV has no plans to resume production on Season 2 of its rural West Virginia-set reality series “Buckwild,” The Hollywood Reporter said.

MTV has canceled new reality series “Buckwild,” TMZ reports. The news comes eight days after cast member Shain Gandee died, halting production on Season 2.
A source close to the show reportedly confirmed the news to The Hollywood Reporter, which noted, “After several days spent weighing the implications of moving forward with the reality show, MTV brass ultimately decided it would be imprudent to do so. The move — a bid to avoid any potential controversy as well as a recognition that Gandee was the show’s breakout star — comes after a heavily hyped and ultimately successful first season.”
According to THR‘s source, “internal conversations were had on the day of Gandee’s death about potentially ‘softening’ the show, which has focused on such behavior as off-roading, tire roll-downs and hard partying. But doing so likely would prove incongruous with the show’s brand — and potentially turn off viewers in the process.”

Itay and Roni’s unusual wedding video, shared by Reddit user Droi on Sunday (it was originally posted to YouTube in October 2012), is a combination of slow-mo and montage-style videography, with a hip-hop soundtrack. The result? A video that makes the casual, pool party wedding look like it belongs on MTV.
We have just one major issue with this video: where’s the ceremony footage?! Sure, we see the bride and groom at the altar for a few seconds, but without that footage, we’d never know this was a wedding. We just hope this isn’t their only wedding video!

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Authorities in West Virginia say a star of the MTV reality show “BUCKWILD” and two passengers all died of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Twenty-one-year-old Shain Gandee, his uncle and another passenger were found dead Monday. Gandee’s 1984 Ford Bronco was stuck in a mud hole, its tail pipe submerged. It’s possible the gas could have filled the cabin because of the clogged exhaust pipe.

While most Americans are absorbed in their own lives (whether it be trying to make sure they can provide for their families, having a hobby, or just plain watching TV), one thing stands clear. Our Republic is being stolen right out from under our noses. Some have realized this, but some are still asleep.
Allow me to simplify this if you will. What good will just sitting around watching baseball be when there isn’t any more of it because the UN using “sustainable development” (Agenda 21) has decided that the ball field must be returned to the wilderness of nature? Don’t believe me? Look up “sustainable development.” Or how about watching NASCAR, where the motto is “Go fast, Turn left”? Well, isn’t that what our communist/Muslim brotherhood plant Barack Hussein Obama is doing to the United States as we speak? Do your own research. Trust me, you won’t have to look far.
Or maybe you find yourself absorbed in watching MTV’s “Teen Mom” show. Well, I guess that is better than standing in front of an abortion clinic advocating for a mother’s rights while a Planned Parenthood doctor commits infanticide. Well, we must not forget about American Idol, where it would seem that half of America has made the Obamas theirs.
My point is this: unless we all become educated as to the things that our own government and the United Nations are trying to pull on us, we are facing a loss of freedom for not only us, but for our offspring for generations to come. How would you feel if your grandchild comes to you one day and asks you what Freedom and Liberty were like in America? Would you know how to answer them? Would you even try to answer them knowing that there were things that you could do NOW?
It’s time to wake up America: educate yourselves and take a stand for the generations to come. We are the last line of defense; and if we fail, there clearly is no turning back. As always, my fellow Patriots, stay safe and be aware of your surroundings.

‘Buckwild’: Shain Gandee’s Death Halts Season 2 Production

“Buckwild” production has been shut down in the wake of series star Shain Gandee’s death. MTV confirmed to The Huffington Post that filming on Season 2 has been suspended and that no other decision regarding the show’s fate has been made.
“We are shocked and saddened by the terrible news about Shain Gandee, and those involved in this tragic incident,” the network said in a statement. “We are waiting for more information but at this time, our main concern is for the Gandee family and their friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. Shain had a magnetic personality, with a passion for life that touched everyone he met and we will miss him dearly.”

“Buckwild” cast member Shain Gandee was found dead, TMZ reports.
In a statement released Monday morning, the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department reported the MTV reality star as missing. However, authorities later confirmed that the 21-year-old was found dead in a truck in Sissonville, W. Va., along with two other bodies, the Charleston Gazette reports.
ABC affiliate WCHS-TV reports that a man on a four-wheeler spotted the three unresponsive people in a vehicle on Wolf Pen Road Monday morning. After emergency services responded, the three were confirmed dead.
