Renee Zellweger Oscar Dress 2013: See The Star’s Red Carpet Look! (PHOTOS)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

We’ll always love Renee Zellweger for two things: her adorable on-camera roles and her chic red carpet style.

Throughout the years, the actress has set the bar for glam Oscars looks. When she accepted the Best Supporting Actress award in 2004, her white draped gown took our breath away. Before that, Renee had one of our favorite red carpet moments ever in a canary yellow vintage Lily Et Cie look at the 2001 show.

At the 2013 Oscars, Ms. Zellweger walked the red carpet in a custom Carolina Herrera gold dress. She looked great, but something about the hair read a little Bridget Jones to us…

Helen Hunt Oscars Dress 2013 (PHOTOS)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Helen Hunt always looks demeure and feminine, and we except the 2013 Oscars to be no different. Though many stars opt to wear couture on the red carpet, Helen Hunt shocked us all with her choice to wear H&M to the biggest award ceremony of the year.

The “The Sessions” star is nominated for Best Supporting Actress, which is not her first Academy Award nod (she was previously nominated for Best Actress in “As Good as It Gets” — an award she won in the late ’90s).

See the California native’s H&M dress at the 2013 Academy Awards and tell us what you think!

Melissa McCarthy Oscars 2013: ‘Identity Thief’ Star Arrives On Red Carpet With Husband (PHOTO)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Melissa McCarthy is looking very prom-like on the red carpet tonight (Feb. 24)!

Last year, McCarthy was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her raunchy, hilarious role as Megan in “Bridesmaids” but lost to Octavia Spencer (“The Help.”) This year she’s a presenter, as are Jennifer Aniston, Paul Rudd, Ben Affleck, Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Mark Wahlberg and Ted, and most of the cast of “The Avengers.”

The breakout funny-woman was the center of a storm recently when New York Observer critic Rex Reed wrote a nasty review of her new movie, “Identity Thief.” In it, he criticized her weight by calling her a “female hippo,” “tractor-sized” and “obese and obnoxious.” Jenny McCarthy, Melissa’s cousin, defended her publicly and said “she’s very, very, very talented and people know that. So, [Reed] can go to hell.”

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Sally Field Oscars 2013: A ‘Mom’s’ Quick Fix For The Show’s First Timer (PHOTO)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

What goes around comes around: A month and a half after Joseph Gordon-Levitt resourcefully fixed Anne Hathaway’s dress, Sally Field came to his rescue tonight (Feb. 24) and helped him with his bow tie.

JGL uploaded this adorable photo of himself with Best Supporting Actress nominee Field (“Lincoln”) to his Tumblr blog and wrote “Sally did indeed know how to tie a bow tie! I thought she would. #Oscars.” In “Lincoln,” JGL plays Field’s son, so all of this makes perfect sense.

Levitt is a special guest in tonight’s Oscar ceremony, his first time appearing on the show. He’ll be joined by fellow first-timers Channing Tatum and Daniel Radcliffe.

Octavia Spencer’s Oscar Dress 2013 Is Another Gorgeous Tadashi Shoji Design (PHOTOS)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! That pretty much sums up Octavia Spencer‘s style motto. It’s a rare occasion when we don’t see the Academy Award-winning actress dressed in a Tadashi Shoji creation. And her fierce (and fabulous) loyalty serves her well–Octavia always looks amazing.

With that said, it was a sure bet that the 42-year-old star would be wearing Tadashi to the 2013 Oscars, like she did last year when she won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. For tonight’s festivities Octavia slipped into a custom, blush tulle one-shoulder ball gown by her favorite designer. She accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewels, an Edie Parker clutch and Prada heels.

Finally, “The Help” star’s beautiful old Hollywood updo and bold burgundy lip complete the look. Fairy princess fab!
