Obama’s Transparency Test

By The Huffington Post News Editors

In his recent State of the Union address, President Obama vowed that when it came to counterterrorism in his second term, he would be “even more transparent to the American people and to the world.” That commitment is about to be tested. With Obama’s pick for C.I.A. Director, John Brennan, now all but assured of confirmation, his Administration needs to decide whether to push for the public release of the Senate Intelligence Committee’s still-classified blockbuster report on C.I.A. wrongdoing during the Bush years. It’s hard to see how the Obama Administration can square its talk of transparency with any further cover-up of this ostensibly mammoth, comprehensive, and devastating report on the brutal interrogation and detention practices during those years.

Rand Paul Drones Quest Could Have Larger Goal

By The Huffington Post News Editors

WASHINGTON — When Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) took to the Senate floor on Wednesday to filibuster the nomination of John Brennan for CIA director, he knew the ostensible goal was an impossible one. “I can’t ultimately stop the nomination,” he admitted. What he really hoped, he said, was to set some clear limits on the president’s power to kill using drones.

Even that may prove impossible. It’s unlikely that Paul’s filibuster will end with major concessions from President Barack Obama. But there is another option that strikes at the heart of Obama‘s legal justification for drone strikes: Paul, or any other congressman, could push to reform the Authorization for the Use of Military Force.

The original AUMF, passed in the frantic days after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, granted then-President George W. Bush a wide legal berth to use “all necessary and appropriate force” against any organizations, nations or individuals who were in any way connected to the attacks. It has widely been accepted as authorizing the president to take military action — including drone strikes — against anyone actively involved with al Qaeda or its networks, even to this day.

HUFFPOST HILL – Meteorologists Lied, Winter Died

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Washington’s meteorologists, like its politicians, left a trail of broken promises in their wake today. Libertarian Christmas came early when Rand Paul filibustered a nomination over domestic drones and it was reported that the government-shrinking sequestration will increase Americans’ access to drugs. And South Carolina’s Jim Clyburn, the former Democratic majority whip, joked that there are “some things that my staff find a bit familiar” about the show “House of Cards.” At least we *think* he was joking — otherwise the Daily Caller missed the real congressional escort scandal. This is HUFFPOST HILL for Wednesday, March 6th, 2013:

POLITICIAN TALKS A LOTRand Paul ate up the Senate’s time today when he “talking” filibustered John Brennan‘s confirmation as CIA director, citing concerns about the Obama administration’s policy on civil liberties. It was basically what would happen if Jimmy Stewart subscribed to Reason and worried about the expansion of the police state… and if Jimmy Stewart had an unflattering haircut. Luke Johnson: “Paul, an outspoken libertarian, pointed to what he called the abuses of executive power and civil liberties under Obama‘s administration. In particular, he objected to the contents of a letter he received from Attorney General Eric Holder that asserted the U.S. government had the legal authority to kill a U.S. citizen on American soil… Paul had asked the Justice Department about the constitutionality of drone strikes and whether they could be used agains U.S. citizens. Holder responded in a letter that conceded the military could authorize a drone strike on U.S. soil…Paul started his filibuster speech around 11:45 a.m.… Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) took to the floor at about 4:45 p.m. to try to invoke cloture on the Brennan nomination to allow the vote to happen Wednesday night. Sen. Paul (R-Ky.) said he would be happy to vote, but that he hasn’t gotten the answer he wanted, and therefore objected to holding the vote.” [HuffPost]

@davewiegel: Paul gives Obama some credit: “I frankly don’t think he’ll be killing people in their homes tonight.”

Rand Paul Stages Old-School Filibuster of CIA Nominee

Democrats push for speedy approval of CIA nominee

Senate Democrats pushed Wednesday for speedy confirmation of John Brennan‘s nomination to be CIA director but ran into a snag after a Republican senator began a lengthy speech over the legality of potential drone strikes on U.S. soil.

Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., was attempting to get a Senate confirmation vote before the end of the day so senators could make travel arrangements due to inclement weather in Washington.

But Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., stalled the chamber as he took to the Senate floor to complain over what he said was President Barack Obama‘s failure to adequately answer questions about the legality of conducting lethal drone strikes against targets inside the United States. The Obama administration has said it does not intend to conduct such strikes.

No American should be killed by a drone on American soil without first being charged with a crime, without first being found guilty of a crime by a court,” Paul said. “How can you kill someone without going to a judge, or a jury?”

Brennan’s nomination won approval Tuesday by the Senate Intelligence Committee after the White House broke a lengthy impasse by agreeing to give lawmakers access to top-secret legal opinions justifying the use of lethal drone strikes against al-Qaida suspects overseas.

Brennan has told the intelligence committee that the Obama administration has not carried out drone strikes on U.S. soil and has no intention of doing so. But Paul has previously said that answer is insufficient because the issue is not whether the federal government intends to hit terror targets with drones in the U.S., but whether it believes it has the authority to do so.

The committee cleared Brennan’s nomination by a vote of 12-3, with four Republicans on the committee siding with the eight Democrats. If confirmed, Brennan would replace Michael Morell, the CIA‘s deputy director who has been acting director since David Petraeus resigned in November after acknowledging an affair with his biographer.

“He’s got a whole chain of duties as the No. 2 and it’s hard to be No. 1 at the same time,” the committee’s chairwoman, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., said Tuesday of Morell. “This is an agency that most of us think needs oversight, needs supervision and needs direction. It needs a director.”

The Republican vice chairman of the committee, Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga., voted against the nomination because he didn’t think …read more

Obama’s CIA Nominee On Fast Track For Confirmation

Barack Obama speech hand 2 SC Obama’s CIA nominee on fast track for confirmation

After lagging for weeks, John Brennan’s nomination to be CIA director is on the fast track to Senate confirmation after the White House agreed to give lawmakers access to top-secret legal opinions justifying the use of lethal drone strikes against terror suspects.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., was trying Wednesday to get a Senate confirmation vote before the end of the day. On Tuesday, the Senate Intelligence Committee overwhelmingly approved Brennan’s nomination by a vote of 12-3, with four Republicans on the committee siding with the eight Democrats.

The committee’s chairwoman, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., called for swift approval of Brennan’s nomination. If confirmed, Brennan would replace Michael Morell, the CIA’s deputy director who has been acting director since David Petraeus resigned in November after acknowledging an affair with his biographer.

“He’s got a whole chain of duties as the No. 2 and it’s hard to be No. 1 at the same time,” Feinstein said Tuesday of Morell. “This is an agency that most of us think needs oversight, needs supervision and needs direction. It needs a director.”

The Republican vice chairman of the committee, Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga., voted against the nomination because he didn’t think Brennan would create the type of “trust relationship” that needs to exist between the agency and Congress.

John Brennan CIA Nomination Advances As White House Drags Feet On Torture Report

By The Huffington Post News Editors

The Senate Intelligence Committee put John Brennan one step closer to leading the CIA on Tuesday, even though the White House has missed a deadline about releasing a classified report on the CIA‘s past use of torture methods like waterboarding.

In a closed-door meeting, the committee voted 12 to 3 to approve the nomination of Brennan, who currently serves as chief counterterrorism adviser to President Barack Obama. The White House had cleared the way for the affirmative vote by promising to grant some members of Congress access to secret memos laying out the legal justification for targeted killing of U.S. citizens.

But those are not the only hidden documents that human rights advocates had hoped to bring into the light during Brennan’s confirmation process, a rare moment of accountability for the CIA prompted by agency Director David Petraeus’ sudden resignation last year. The American Civil Liberties Union, Amnesty International, and Human Rights First had all called for the release of a Senate Intelligence Committee report on “enhanced interrogation” methods, like waterboarding, used during the George W. Bush administration.

Senate Committee Set To Vote On Obama’s CIA Choice

By Breaking News

us capitol buildiing Senate committee set to vote on Obama’s CIA choice

WASHINGTON — The Senate Intelligence Committee is scheduled to vote on President Barack Obama’s pick to lead the CIA after weeks of wrangling with the White House over access to top-secret information about the use of lethal drone strikes against terror suspects and the attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya.

The committee’s chairwoman, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., said the panel would move ahead Tuesday with John Brennan’s nomination to lead the spy agency even as Republicans said they were frustrated with the Obama administration’s reluctant disclosure of all the records. Feinstein would not describe the material the committee has received because it is classified.

“Certain documents have been made available to members,” she said Monday.

Brennan’s nomination has been held up as Democrats and Republicans on the intelligence panel have been pressing the Obama administration to provide them with a series of classified Justice Department legal opinions that justify the use of unmanned spy planes to kill terror suspects overseas, including American citizens. The senators have argued they can’t perform adequate oversight without reviewing the contents of the documents.

Key Senate Republicans have said they will oppose Brennan’s nomination unless they get classified information, including emails among top U.S. national security officials, detailing the Obama administration’s actions immediately following the Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.

John Brennan CIA Confirmation Faces Delay From Lindsey Graham, John McCain Over Benghazi

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) are threatening to delay a vote on John Brennan as new CIA Director, citing the need for more information on the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya.

Both senators appeared on CBS’ “Face The Nation” Sunday, demanding answers on the violence that killed four Americans.

“John and I are hell-bent on making sure the American people understand this debacle called Benghazi,” Graham said.

White House to give senators Benghazi documents

The White House has agreed to give the Senate Intelligence Committee documents related to the attack on a U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, a congressional aide said Friday.

Republicans had demanded the documents as a condition of voting on the nomination of John Brennan to be CIA director.

The documents include emails between top national security officials showing the debate within the administration over how to describe the attack and other documents the committee had been asking for, the aide said. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

The White House has said it has already turned over more than 10,000 pages of Benghazi-related documents, along with witness interviews, staff briefings and hours of testimony.

Tommy Vietor, spokesman for the National Security Council, said the administration was talking with members of Congress about their requests regarding both the Benghazi attacks and the use of drone strikes, but he declined to say whether those requests had been granted.

“That being said, the confirmation process should be about the nominees and their ability to do the jobs they’re nominated for,” Vietor said.

The attack on the Benghazi compound last Sept. 11 killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans. The Obama administration sent conflicting signals about whether the assault was a terrorist attack or an incident touched off by protests over an anti-Muslim video.

Republicans accused the Obama administration of an election-year cover-up of an act of terrorism and repeatedly pressed for more information about the attack. An independent review that faulted the State Department and led to four employees being relieved of their duties failed to placate GOP lawmakers. They demanded testimony from former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, who spent more than five hours before two congressional panels, and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey about the military’s response to the attack.

Republicans also pressed the administration for emails, communiques and videos, and threatened to hold up the nominations of members of President Barack Obama‘s second-term national security team, including the choice of Chuck Hagel for the Pentagon and Brennan for CIA director.

Video: John Brennan, Alleged Obama Blackmailer, Gaining Dictatorial Power

By Kris Zane

For anyone who has done even a cursory study of Barack Obama’s life, they know that his radical Marxist views are not a recent phenomenon.  They probably go back to his Occidental days, most definitely to the New York years, where he attended at least two (and probably three) of the annual Socialist Scholars Conferences held in Manhattan.

This leftist bent continued with his association in the 1990s with the Marxist New Party; socialist-funding groups like the Woods Fund (where Obama, with Bill Ayers at the helm, doled out money to groups like ACORN); and his later connection to the anti-Iraq War movement, anti-torture movement, anti-drone movement, etc.

So when Obama ascended to power, none of us who had been doing even basic research on Obama were surprised when he surrounded himself with a gaggle of leftist ideologues. But like those picture games kids play where the question is asked “What doesn’t belong?”, it was extremely odd when Obama in 2008 put John Brennan at the top of the list to head the CIA.

For years, as part of the CIA, Brennan was knee-deep in Bush’s use of waterboarding and psychotropic drugs to gain information. He was a proponent of the Iraq War, a proponent of drones to carry out assassinations, and a Republican—all things Obama and his leftist base have fought against for years.

And Obama’s leftist base was livid and demanded that Brennan’s name be withdrawn from consideration for CIA head.

Obama brought Brennan into the inner circle anyway, giving him the job of what has turned out to be a position more powerful than the CIA director. His title sounds innocuous enough: Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism.

Brennan, running something akin to a fiefdom with his drone assassination program, has the power to decide who lives and who dies and doesn’t have to provide evidence to any entity that the “target” presents any threat to America—even if they are an American—even if the American is living in the United States!

Investigative Reporter Michael Isikoff uncovered a secret memo, entitled “Lawfulness of a Lethal Operation Directed Against a U.S. Citizen who is a Senior Operational Leader of Al Qa’ida or An Associated Force.”

The memo gives the Obama Administration—in effect, Brennan—the authority to kill any American citizen at anytime for any reason without proof, without due process, and with absolutely no oversight.

But this unchecked power exercised by John Brennan is mild compared to what we learned with the recent release of an extensive book on the Benghazi consulate attack. Benghazi: The Definitive Report, released on February 12, makes the shocking claim that Obama’s chief counter-terrorism officer, John Brennan, aside from having the authority to murder American citizens, has been waging a series of secret wars in North Africa and the Middle East against Al Qaeda and Al-Qaeda-linked groups. How secret? So secret that he and his minions at JSOC (Joint Special Operations Command) operated not only outside the purview of Congress, but outside the purview …read more

Hagel has enough support for defense secretary

Chuck Hagel has lined up the necessary votes for the Senate to confirm him next week to be the nation’s next defense secretary, after a senior Republican lawmaker said he will back President Barack Obama‘s choice.

Barring any new developments, five-term Sen. Richard Shelby of Alabama said he would vote for his fellow Republican and the former two-term Nebraska senator, with the expectation that Hagel will win Senate approval. If confirmed, Hagel would succeed Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, who is stepping down after four years first as CIA director and then Pentagon chief.

“He’s probably as good as we’re going to get,” Shelby told the Decatur Daily about Hagel.

Jonathan Graffeo, a spokesman for the senator, said Thursday that unless any new, damaging information to the nominee emerges between now and an expected Senate vote on Tuesday, Hagel has Shelby’s vote.

Obama‘s choice has faced strong Republican opposition, and last week the GOP succeeded in an unprecedented filibuster of a nominee for defense secretary. In fresh evidence of the resistance, 15 Republican senators sent a letter to Obama on Thursday calling on him to withdraw the nomination.

“The occupant of this critical office should be someone whose candidacy is neither controversial nor divisive,” wrote the senators — all opponents of Hagel. Leading the effort was Texas Sen. John Cornyn, the party’s No. 2 who is up for re-election next year. The letter came shortly after news of Shelby’s support for Hagel.

One name missing from the letter was Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., who has called Hagel unqualified, but indicated last Sunday that he wouldn’t stand in the way of a Senate vote.

White House spokesman Jay Carney on Thursday complained that Republicans were putting politics ahead of national security, pointing out that the administration wants Hagel to be part of decisions on the size of the U.S. force in Afghanistan as American and coalition forces wind down combat operations.

“This waste of time is not just meaningless political posturing because we firmly believe that Sen. Hagel will be confirmed. The waste of time is of consequence,” Carney told reporters.

The Senate also is holding up the nomination of John Brennan to be CIA director, with Republicans and Democrats seeking more information about the U.S. policy on the use of drones. Hagel and …read more

Obama Placing Fellow America-haters In The US Military

By George Spelvin

Obama Feeds America SC Obama placing fellow America haters in the US Military

Will you fire on American citizens if the Commander in Chief gives the order? This is the question being asked of America’s top generals by the Obama administration.  “I have just been informed by a former senior military leader that Obama is using a new litmus test in determining who will stay and who must go [among] his military leaders,” begins the post of Nobel Prize nominee Dr. Jim Garrow, originator of the Pink Pagoda project that rescues baby girls from “gendercide” shortly after their birth in China.

Garrow goes on to say “The new litmus test of leadership in the military is if they will fire on US citizens or not.  Those who will not are being removed!”  Now a video is showing narrator Gary Franchi interviewing Dr. Garrow, who is calling the ‘Fire on US Citizens’ order a “serious breach of the Constitution and the Second Amendment.”  “Watch what Barack Obama does, not what he says. . .his patriotic words are in conflict with his actions. . .he treats the Constitution as a faint relic ,” says Garrow.

Every patriotic American who cares about our land needs to see and study this important video.  Whether or not you care about gun ownership, take heed because Garrow gives an account of the discrepancy between the opinion an average Chinese citizen “in the street” has of President Obama and that held by Chinese Communist leaders. “He’s a traitor to his own country,” is the prevailing attitude of the Chinese man in the street.  Giving the command to fire on one’s own citizenry is beyond the pale of acceptable presidential governance.  The “OathKeepers” website has posted its “ten commandments” of allegiance concerning the Oath to the Constitution all warriors must take, and the main emphasis is on refusal to fire on average American citizens for owning guns, an inherent right granted to them by the Second Amendment!

China wants America to be disarmed,” Garrow continues on the Franchi video.  He reports that the Bank of China evaluation team came into America recently to evaluate our coal and gas reserves, which they could take over in exchange for our enormous debt owed to China.  The Chinese bankers are attempting to equate that debt with the value of America’s natural resources!

The Kansas area was of special interest to the Chinese team as it attempted to set prices on our clean coal and oil reserves. The team allegedly told Obama they want American citizens disarmed.  After all, having to shoot average residents of the world’s last Republic would make the Communists look bad on the world stage!

“We have a president that has such a deeply rooted hatred of America that it separates him from all other tyrants and who is allowing infiltration by Islamic influence at all levels of government,” says a patriotic poster.  John Brennan’s nomination as CIA Director would clearly solidify Islam in the Oval Office as Brennan has been called a recent convert to the Muslim faith.

Video: ACLU Lawyer Calls Obama “Judge, Jury, Executioner” Over Drone Attacks

By Bobby Powell

A recently leaked Department of Justice “White Paper” gives the President of the United States and those he designates – “high government officials” – the authority to take the life of any American citizen, even if there is no proof that the citizen in question is involved in nefarious activities.

John Brennan, the Obama administration’s pick to replace Leon Panetta as the next CIA Director, has found his nomination put on hold by Senator Rand Paul after refusing to answer Paul’s question in front of the Senate sub-committee regarding the use of drones to attack American citizens domestically, again without ever having been charged with a crime in a court of law. Senator Paul calls the idea “appalling.”

In this episode of “The Truth Is Viral”, Nate Wessler, a lawyer with the ACLU’s National Security Project, echoes Senator Paul’s sentiments in this exclusive interview in which he calls Obama and the members of his administration “Judge, jury, and executioner.” That is a strong statement of condemnation coming from the historically ultra-liberal ACLU.

Hagel's GOP foes signal vote should go on

Republican opponents are sending signals that Chuck Hagel‘s bid to become defense secretary will probably come to an up-or-down vote soon in the Senate.

That’s unless more information damaging to the nominee — and the Obama administration — surfaces in the coming week.

Critics maintain the decorated Vietnam combat veteran and former senator is unqualified to lead the U.S. military. A top White House official expressed “grave concern” over the delayed confirmation vote, adding that there was nothing to worry about in any disclosures that may yet come.

Arizona Sen. John McCain, a key Republican on defense matters, said Sunday that he doesn’t believe Hagel, a one-time colleague and friend, is qualified. “But I don’t believe that we should hold up his nomination any further, because I think it’s (been) a reasonable amount of time to have questions answered.”

McCain and other Republicans angered President Barack Obama by delaying a vote on Hagel last week and preventing him from rounding out his second-term national security team, which includes Hagel and John Brennan, the White House counterterrorism adviser who is awaiting confirmation to become CIA director. Former Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry assumed his post as secretary of state at the beginning of February.

Critics say Hagel, who snubbed McCain by staying neutral in the 2008 presidential race between McCain and Obama, isn’t supportive enough of U.S. ally Israel and is unreasonably sympathetic to Iran, which has defied international pressure to halt its pursuit of material that could be used to make nuclear weapons.

Hagel’s nomination also became ensnared in Republican lawmakers’ questioning of how the White House handled the September attack against a U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, in which the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans were killed. Hagel had no role in the administration’s response to the Benghazi attack.

GOP senators also have challenged Hagel’s past statements and votes on nuclear weapons, and his criticism of President George W. Bush’s administration.

Republicans last week delayed a confirmation vote, but have indicated that one will be allowed when lawmakers return from a break on Feb. 25.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., another leader of the opposition to Hagel, referred to a letter he received from Hagel in response to questions about past statements on Israel. Graham said that, as a …read more

GOP foes of Hagel nomination say vote should go on

Republican opponents of former Sen. Chuck Hagel‘s stalled bid to become defense secretary said Sunday that they’ll probably allow his Senate confirmation vote to proceed unless material more damaging to the nominee — and, by extension, the Obama administration — surfaces in the coming week.

Critics said the decorated Vietnam combat veteran is a “radical” unqualified to lead the U.S. military. A top White House official expressed “grave concern” over the delayed confirmation vote, adding that there was nothing to worry about in any disclosures that may yet come.

Video: Muslim Brotherhood Operatives Barack Obama And John Brennan

By Kris Zane

The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) were found to be unindicted co-conspirators in the largest terrorist-funding trial in U.S. history—the 2008 Holy Land Foundation trial.

Yet the Obama administration has not only had contact with these groups, but has brought them into the White House—embraced them would be a more proper term—having “hundreds” of meetings beginning almost immediately after Obama ascended to power.

According to a Daily Caller investigation:

In 2009, a judge confirmed the Justice Department’s decision to name CAIR as an unindicted conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation conspiracy to smuggle funds to HAMAS, which is a jihadi affiliate of the Egypt-based brotherhood. Five men in the smuggling ring were sentenced to jail in 2009, including two who were given 65-year sentences.

Obama’s current chief counterterrorism advisor and CIA head appointee John Brennan spoke at an ISNA-sponsored (and White House approved) conference in February of 2010. Brennan used his time to parrot Barack Obama’s often-quoted meme about how great of a religion Islam was, about the “goodness and beauty of Islam,” that “Islam is a religion of peace,” etc. Brennan failed to explain, however, why jihadists continually refer to this “religion of peace” while strapping on suicide vests. Nor did he explain that the Holy Land Foundation trial named ISNA as a Muslim Brotherhood front group.

In October of 2011, the group Muslim Advocates wrote a letter signed by fifty-seven Muslim organizations, whose main signatories were CAIR and ISNA, demanding the Obama administration remove “bigoted” language found in FBI training materials— terms like “jihad” and “Islamist,” the rationale being that these terms “offended” Muslims.

Brennan responded to the letter personally and not only purged FBI training materials but implemented a mandatory re-training program for FBI agents; U.S. Army officers; and all federal, state, and local law enforcement who had been subjected to “biased training.” Those who refused to tow the politically correct line, like war hero and Army trainer Lt. Colonel Matthew Dooley, were summarily blacklisted.

Instead of purging FBI training materials of anything that “offends” the Muslim Brotherhood, America should purge this country of Muslim Brotherhood operatives John Brennan and Barack Hussein Obama.

Video: Is John Brennan Blackmailing Obama?

By Kris Zane

In early 2008, it was reported that a low-level employee at Analysis Corporation, a State Department contracted company that processed and stored passport records, had breached Barack Obama’s passport file on three different occasions.

The incident was reported to simply be mischief, and the employee involved was reprimanded. We would later find out that John Brennan, then-advisor on intelligence and foreign policy to the Obama campaign, headed the company.

After Barack Obama won the election, the issue was quietly forgotten.

Obama, a radical leftist ideologue—anti-military, anti-war, and anti-torture—proceeded on Day One to surround himself with far left ideologues.

So it was odd when Obama put John Brennan at the top of the list for CIA chief.

For years, Brennan was knee-deep in Bush’s use of waterboarding, use of psychotropic drugs to gain confessions,  a proponent of the Iraq War, a proponent of drones to carry out assassinations, and a Republican—all things Obama and his leftist base hated.

Obama’s leftist base was livid and demanded that Brennan’s name be withdrawn.

Brennan then decided to bide his time until Obama’s second term. By then, Obama would not care whether he stabbed his base in the back, as evidenced by his most staunch radical Marxist group Code Pink—long aligned with Obama—disrupting Brennan’s confirmation hearing on February 7.

It has been theorized that the 2008 breach of Barack Obama’s passport file was not in fact simply mischief by an employee, but was a cover to purge Barack Obama’s passport file of any reference to foreign citizenship.

What if in fact Brennan, as head of Analysis Corporation and obviously with access to Obama’s passport records, breached Obama’s passport file not to cover for him, but to blackmail him? What if what Brennan found in Obama’s passport records was what most of America already knows—that Obama became an Indonesian citizen when his mother married Lolo Soetoro, as evidenced by Obama’s school records,  indicating also that he was a Muslim with the legal name of Barry Soetoro. What if Brennan is holding this over Barack Obama’s head in order to obtain what many deem—as CIA chief—to be the most powerful position in the U.S. government—possibly the world? He would have access to a mammoth database on every American, access to virtually every single electronic communication sent: phone, email, text, videoeverything. Combine this with Brennan’s new authority as revealed by an uncovered secret memo whereby the Obama administration—that is, Brennan, as head of the drone assassination program—has the authority to kill any U.S. citizen at any time and anywhere, without oversight and without having to provide any evidence to anyone.

Whether John Brennan breached Barack Obama’s passport record in order to cover for him or blackmail him matters little. America should be very afraid of this Administration. But let fear bring us to action. To remove Barack Obama from power. To remove John Brennan from power. Soon. Before we pass the point of no return.
