Kermit Gosnell Trial: Much Ado About Nothing

By Matt Barber

Abortion Protestor SC Kermit Gosnell trial: Much ado about nothing

What’s the big deal?

I mean, why are we surprised that an abortionist and his staff would, behind the walls of an always-lethal abortion clinic, commit one of the most horrific serial killings in American history? What did you think abortionists do, heal people?

Why are we taken aback that there was no oversight and no regulation, or that Planned Parenthoodthough privy to the clinic’s filthy, medieval conditions, refused to report it to the Department of Health? After all, Planned Parenthood, Barack Obama, and the DNC have vehemently opposed all laws – such as those in Virginia, Mississippi, and elsewhere – designed to prevent exactly the same kind of squalid conditions found in Gosnell’s clinic (and others), laws that simply direct abortion mills to meet the same minimal safety standards required of all other medical facilities.

You didn’t really buy that whole “women’s health” nonsense, did you?

Sucker.

Seriously, there are so few sociopathic doctors left willing to hack alive those inconvenient little buggers; so you anti-choice nuts need to just chill. Who cares about “blood smeared walls”; or babies left to drown in toilets; or snipped spinal cords; or dismembered body parts kept in jars; or screaming, crying newborns silenced by decapitation? What did you think women were “choosing” with abortion, some kind of medical treatment? We’re not removing a tumor here. You’ve got to kill a few babies to make a “reproductive freedom” omelette. Besides, there’s billions to be made in the death racket.

Let’s keep it real. The only difference between what happened in Gosnell’s Philadelphia clinic and what happens every day in Planned Parenthoods across the country can be measured by a matter of inches – by the child’s proximity to her mother in the room. Whether the baby is in the womb or 12 inches removed, a dead baby is a dead baby, right? So why all the drama? Relax. You know, Roe v. Wade and all.

Besides, what’s an abortionist to do (wink, wink) if that resilient little pest does survive, if she’s born alive? I appreciate President Obama’s candor on the matter. Like he said, laws preventing abortionists like Gosnell from finishing her off are “really designed simply to burden the original decision of the woman and the physician to induce labor and perform an abortion.” Snippety-snip, eh, Barack? You know, choice and all.

Or, as Gosnell attorney Jack McMahon noted during the trial, it’s “ludicrous … to say a baby is born alive because it moves one time.” You anti-choice zealots don’t get to define the terms here. One man’s “alive” is another woman’s “unwanted pregnancy.” Potato, potahto.

And why are we stunned that the mainstream media have spiked a story with all the bloody and salacious newsworthy trappings that – had abortion not been involved – would have filled the news cycle 24/7?

You think some now-barren, 40-something copy editor who’s had five abortions wants to draw attention to its grisly reality? You think she wants to be reminded of her own string of dismembered little choices? No, better to sip

The Progressive Income Tax Turns 100

By Paul G. Kengor

Build It IRS Will Come SC The Progressive Income Tax Turns 100

Editor’s note: A version of this article first appeared at Investor’s Business Daily.

Maybe it’s a measure of progressives’ refusal to look back, to always move “forward.” Otherwise, they should be celebrating right now. In fact, President Obama and fellow modern progressives/liberals should be ecstatic all this year, rejoicing over the centenary of something so fundamental to their ideology, to their core goals of government, to their sense of economic and social justice—to what Obama once called “redistributive change.”

And what is this celebratory thing to the progressive mind?

It is the progressive income tax. This year, it turns 100. Its permanent establishment was set forth in two historic moments: 1) an amendment to the Constitution (the 16th Amendment), ratified February 3, 1913; and 2) its signing into law by the progressive’s progressive, President Woodrow Wilson, October 3, 1913. It was a major political victory for Wilson and fellow progressives then and still today. By my math, that ought to mean a long, sustained party by today’s progressives, a period of extended thanksgiving.

President Obama once charged that “tax cuts for the wealthy” are the Republicans’ “Holy Grail.” Tax cuts form “their central economic doctrine.” Well, the federal income tax is the Democrats’ Holy Grail. For progressives/liberals, it forms their central economic doctrine.

As merely one illustration among many I could give, former DNC head Howard Dean and MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell were recently inveighing against Republican tax cuts. Dean extolled “what an increase in the top tax rate actually does.” He insisted: “that’s what governments do—is redistribute. The argument is not whether they should redistribute or not, the question is how much we should redistribute…. The purpose of government is to make sure that capitalism works for everybody …. It’s government’s job to redistribute.”

What Dean said is, in a few lines, a cornerstone of the modern progressive manifesto. For Dean and President Obama and allies, a federal income tax based on graduated or progressive rates embodies and enables government’s primary “job” and “purpose.” They embrace a progressive tax for the chief intention of wealth redistribution, which, in turn, allows for income leveling, income “equality,” and for government to do the myriad things that progressives ever-increasingly want government to do.

And so, in 1913, progressives struck gold. The notion of taxing income wasn’t entirely new. Such taxes existed before, albeit temporarily, at very small levels and for national emergencies like war. The idea of a permanent tax for permanent income redistribution broke new ground. The only debate was the exact percentage of the tax. In no time, progressives learned they could never get enough.

In 1913, when the progressive income tax began (and the first 1040 form, with instructions, was only four pages long), the top rate was a mere 7 percent, applied only to the fabulously wealthy (incomes above $500,000). By the time Woodrow Wilson left office in 1921, the great progressive had hiked the upper rate to 73 percent. World War I (for America, 1917-18) had given Wilson

Dr. Ben Carson Dissed By MSNBC Lefty

By capblack

No good Black conservative ever goes unharmed; feast your eyes on this video vignette from liberal hatchet man Toure, about Dr. Ben Carson:

Toure repeatedly charged Republicans with “not caring” about Black folks??? Hmmm, I didn’t know that I as an American Black needed White people to “care ” about me.

Does that mean that White Democrats, whose polices destroyed the Black family unit and inflated street thuggery, “care” more about me?

This is what I call the “Care Gap,” where Black liberals invoke how much more their White folks like Negroes than evil old White conservatives.

In their eyes, White Democrats are good masters who pull us to their heaving bosoms and provide programs making our miserable lot as children of a lesser god more tolerable.

I would tell Toure where he could shove this type of silly reasoning, but I write for rated G audiences.

Suffice it to say, the Care Gap argument rudely deployed against Dr. Ben Carson means the good doctor’s tenure as a Black history figure liberals pointed to with pride is over.

Toure’s diss (to use an Old School ’80s phrase) of Dr. Carson means Black liberals have gotten marching orders to ethnically excommunicate someone they revered a short time ago.

Don’t let socialists somewhere in the bowels of the DNC tell you which Black people you can like.

THAT’S being an Uncle Tom for Democrats, and Toure and others should know better.

2016 Conventions: Democrats May Join Republican Push For Earlier Events

By The Huffington Post News Editors

* Republicans consider shorter primary season, fewer debates
* Campaign finance laws encourage earlier conventions
* ‘Choreographed dance’ involves states as well as parties
By Samuel P. Jacobs
NEW YORK, March 20 (Reuters) – A Republican proposal to move up the date of the party’s presidential nominating convention to early summer in 2016 – instead of the end of August – could trigger a similar move by Democrats, officials in that party said on Wednesday.
Seeking to avoid a repeat of the nasty primary race that damaged eventual Republican nominee Mitt Romney last year, the Republican National Committee (RNC) said in a report this week that it might shorten its primary season for the next presidential election.
For Republican contenders, that could mean a more compact schedule of state primaries and caucuses, fewer candidate debates (there were 20 spread over nine months in 2011-2012), and a national convention in late June or early July.
Party officials say a big reason for changing the schedule would be to identify a Republican nominee earlier to take fuller advantage of campaign finance laws that prevent a candidate from spending funds earmarked for the November election until the candidate becomes a party’s official nominee.
Such a change by Republicans for 2016 could lead Democrats to move their convention to early summer as well, state Democratic leaders said.
“The party that gets their (presidential) nominee out for six weeks, eight weeks early would have an advantage,” said Dick Harpootlian, chairman of the South Carolina Democratic Party. “I think there would be significant pressure” to move up the Democratic convention.
The Democratic National Committee (DNC), which will review the 2016 calendar in September, plans to closely watch the RNC as it determines its schedule this spring.
“It is a choreographed dance that includes the RNC, the DNC, and of course, the states,” said Ray Buckley, head of …read more

I’m An “Allen West American”; Are You?

By capblack

Allen West Im An Allen West American; Are You?

Allen West makes liberals mad!

And God Bless him for it!

They hate seeing American Black men loudly, proudly defend America, free markets, the Judeo-Christian ethic, and traditional values.

Doing this means no need for central management from the DNC and other communist controllers.

Liberals see Black folks as goose-stepping goons and basket cases on speed dial for their latest “Anything Goes!” schemes.

I often compare him to Malcolm X, another pugilistic plain talker who, unlike the former Congressman, aggressively promoted racial separation before renouncing it.

West promotes racial unity as part of a muscular American nationalism anyone can join.

Every group’s uphill climb, ours included, was so we could be citizens, not flunkies liberals use to extort money and sovereignty from America’s shrinking majority.

Allen West, like the aforementioned Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali, shows how one vocal visionary can impact society.

Our generation had barriers swept from our path, which many forefathers died thinking they would never fall.

I call us the first free generation of American Blacks, and we frankly should be much more like West than agitators mumbling division and criminality.

As the first February observance of what I’ve re-named American History Month (aka Black Liberal History Month) approaches, I’ve dedicated it to US Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, his generation’s conservative standard bearer.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t add I’m an Allen West American- loud and proud when need be!

Allen West answers a rhetorical question I’ve had for years. I ask, “When do we Black folks born here finally call ourselves Americans?”

How about now?

Remarks by the President at Staff Inaugural Ball

By The White House

Washington Convention Center
Washington, D.C.

9:00 P.M. EST

THE PRESIDENT: Hello, everybody! (Applause.) You all clean up pretty good. (Applause.) You are looking good.

Couple of acknowledgements I want to make — first of all, please give it up for DJ Mal Sandiko. (Applause.) The U.S. Army Band is in the house. (Applause.) We're so proud — they can play anything — anything. Go ahead and make a request, they’ll play it. They are outstanding. And we are so grateful for their service to our country each and every day.

Now, this is just a little gathering, little party among friends. (Applause.) Represented here are our outstanding OFA staff and volunteers. (Applause.) Our amazing PIC — that would be Presidential Inaugural Committee Team. (Applause.)

MRS. OBAMA: This has been a great inauguration. They've done a great job.

THE PRESIDENT: Michelle just said this has been a great inauguration, and you've done a great job.

We've got the DNC convention team that did an amazing job. (Applause.) We've got the DNC team that did an amazing job. (Applause.) And we've got the White House team, which is pretty good. (Applause.) They did an amazing job.

AUDIENCE MEMBER: And you!

THE PRESIDENT: I'm here, too. (Applause.) That’s true. And the First Lady of the United States — (applause) — bangs and all — (applause) — looking very sparkly and twinkly. (Laughter.)

Now, I'm not going to speak long, mainly because I've been speaking a lot and you all have heard me before.

MRS. OBAMA: And the entertainment is pretty good.

THE PRESIDENT: And, more importantly, we've got a couple of people who are pretty good musicians named Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett in the house. (Applause.) This is like my — Michelle is like doing interpretive dance of everything I say. It's been a long weekend — she's getting a little silly now. (Laughter.)
But my main job here tonight is real simple, and it's just to say thank you. (Applause.) You know, some of you were involved the very first time I ran, back in 2007, 2008. (Applause.) Some of you were 14 at the time, and so just got involved this time out. (Applause.) You know who you are. (Applause.)

MRS. OBAMA: That’s right.

THE PRESIDENT: But regardless of whether you got involved six years ago or you got involved six months ago, what is true is that all of you have come to represent for me and Michelle our deepest hopes for America.

The average age here is probably around 20-something — (applause) — and that’s only because I'm here, which brings the average age up quite a bit. But when I think about traveling around the country during the course of the campaign and getting to know some of you and meeting some of you and seeing the work you do in the White House or the work that you did during the convention, and I meet young people who are so much smarter and more thoughtful and more caring about the future than I ever was at your age, so much more capable, so much more serious, so much more poised, it makes me know that America’s future is in good hands. (Applause.)

As long as all of you understand the immense and incredible power that you possess when you work together, when you join voices, when you extend yourselves not just on behalf of your own ambitions but on behalf of a larger cause, you cannot be stopped. And part of the reason I know that America will succeed is when I look at how you work together, what I saw in offices from Vegas — (applause) — to Richmond — (applause) — to Colorado Springs — (applause) — to Manchester, New Hampshire — (applause) — to Orlando, Florida — it didn’t matter — (applause) — it didn’t matter where I was, I'd walk into a volunteer office and what you saw was people from every walk of life — black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, young, gay, straight — it didn’t matter where you came from, you came together with a mission in mind and a vision in mind. And you were willing to set aside whatever surface differences you had because you understood you were working on behalf of an America that was a little more just and a little more fair and a little more compassionate, and better stewards for our environment. (Applause.)

And seeing that kind of spirit operate day in, day out, no matter how hard the work, no matter how little you got paid, no matter how bad your candidate screwed up, it didn’t matter, you just kept on going. And there were times during the course of this year where I might have gotten down, but you picked me back up. (Applause.) You lifted me up on your shoulders. And you said, yeah, we know he’s gotten kind of old and gray-haired, and we know sometimes he stumbles. But we are going to carry him across the finish line. (Applause.) Because this is not about him; this is about us. This is about America. This is about what we believe. This is about what our values are. (Applause.) This is what our ideals are all about. We are going to go out there and change America. (Applause.)

That's what you did every single day. And so this weekend belonged to you. (Applause.) To you. (Applause.)

So my final message — because I'm already breaking my promise; I said I wasn’t going to talk long — is to say that you can't stop now. I know some of you have got to go back to school. I know some of your parents are all like, okay, you did your little thing, but now you’ve got to go back and get your degree. I know some of you’ve got some rent to pay, so you’ve got to —

MRS. OBAMA: Some loans.

THE PRESIDENT: — get some loans to repay. You may be making a whole range of career choices and decisions right now. And, look, not all of you will end up staying in politics. Not all of you will end up pursuing professionally public service. But every single one of you, in your communities, in your neighborhoods, in your workplaces, wherever you decide to put down roots, wherever you decide to make a difference, as long as you retain that spirit that you’ve shown during the course of these campaigns — the idea that you’re a citizen, that America only works when you make it work — (applause) — that you have the power to move this country and, as a consequence, the world — if you retain that sense and never lose it, then I tell you, not only is America going to be in good hands, but what’s going to happen is you’re going to influence your peers and your friends and the folks you live next to and your neighbors and people in your workplace. And suddenly, like Robert Kennedy described, you’re like a stone thrown in a pool and it starts rippling out. And you don’t know where those ripples are going to go, and that’s the future that I see for you.

I know that every single person here donated $10 to a memorial on behalf of Alex Okrent Memorial. (Applause.) And Alex was one of you — this incredibly thoughtful, talented, compassionate, caring young person who decided to get involved because he thought he could make a difference. And tragically, he ended up leaving us while working in the campaign — some of the people here were there when it happened. And it was heartbreaking, and it reminded us of how precious our time on this Earth is.

We don’t have a lot of time. I know when you’re young it seems like it goes on forever. It turns out things are fragile. And yet, the thing that outlives each of us is what we do for somebody else, what difference did we make. And we know Alex made a difference. (Applause.) And so his impact outlives him. And that means — that’s all right — somebody is over there and they probably fainted because they’ve been standing too long. Many of you have been at rallies — there’s one over here, we’ve got EMS folks here. People, bend your knees while you’re here. (Laughter.) And try to get hydrated as well.

MRS. OBAMA: You know you’ve got to drink some water!

THE PRESIDENT: Drink water is what I mean. (Laughter.) Juice is okay, too. (Laughter.)

But in the same way that Alex left this indelible mark on my life and Michelle’s life, and many of your lives, you will leave an indelible mark as well, as long as you decide that you’re going to spend your life giving something back.

You’ve already given me an incredible gift. You’ve given America an incredible gift. Don’t stop. Keep on going. (Applause.) Don’t stop. Stay fired up. (Applause.)

Are you fired up?

AUDIENCE: Fired up!

THE PRESIDENT: Are you ready to go?

AUDIENCE: Ready to go!

THE PRESIDENT: Fired up!

AUDIENCE: Fired up!

THE PRESIDENT: Ready to go?

AUDIENCE: Ready to go!

THE PRESIDENT: Fired up!

AUDIENCE: Fired up!

THE PRESIDENT: Ready to go!

AUDIENCE: Ready to go!

THE PRESIDENT: Fired up!

AUDIENCE: Fired up!

THE PRESIDENT: Ready to go.

AUDIENCE: Ready to go!

THE PRESIDENT: I think Lady Gaga is fired up, too.

God bless you, guys! (Applause.) I love you! Thank you! God bless you. God bless the United States of America. (Applause.)

Leftist Judge Rules Against Ballot Security To Prevent Election Fraud!

By Kirsten Smith

fraud Leftist Judge rules against Ballot Security to Prevent Election Fraud!

31 years ago, the RNC entered into a consent agreement to settle a lawsuit brought by the DNC not to peruse suspected voter fraud or prevent voter fraud. The RNC has been held to that consent agreement to this day. Each time they go to court to remove the consent agreement, a particular judge comes out of retirement to rule against the RNC requests.

New Jersey District Judge Dickinson R. Debevoise, appointed by Jimmy Carter, ruled to keep in place a 30-year-old restriction against the RNC “which is national in scope, limiting the Republican National Committee ‘s ability to engage or assist in voter fraud prevention”

The judge cited voter suppression of minorities outweighing the impact of voter fraud.

There are serious reasons for concern of voter fraud:

1) Pew Research Center states in 2012 –

“Voter registration in the United States largely reflects its 19th-century origins and has not kept pace with advancing technology and a mobile society. States’ systems must be brought into the 21st century to be more accurate, cost-effective, and efficient.

Research commissioned by the Pew Center on the States highlights the extent of the challenge:

  • Approximately 24 million—one of every eight—voter registrations in the United States are no longer valid or are significantly inaccurate.
  • More than 1.8 million deceased individuals are listed as voters.
  • Approximately 2.75 million people have registrations in more than one state.”

2)  The American people support voter ID laws by an overwhelming 74% (Washington Post.)

Hispanic Americans support voter ID laws by an overwhelming 71 % (Pew Research Center.)

3) The presidential election of 2000 was won by only 500 votes.

4) Local elections can be won by just a handful of votes.

5) People who believe their vote does not count or will be canceled out by fraud are unlikely to bother to vote.

Multiple left leaning groups are being criminally investigated for voter fraud schemes in the swing state of Florida.

6) 160 counties in the U.S. have more registered voters than people living in those counties.

Question: Have you seen any documented examples of voter suppression?

They appear to only be in Michelle Obama’s dreams.

Judicial Watch challenged her accusation, but it went unanswered.

Scott Gessler, CO Sec of State stated: “These accusations are built on a foundation of sand,” referring to voter suppression. He also states that the opposition to voter ID is well-financed and organized. “Disenfranchisement hysteria is, frankly, silly”

During a 1981 gubernatorial election in New Jersey, concern was raised over voter suppression; and the Democratic National Committee sued the RNC. That one incident in NJ 30 years ago came with a “consent decree”, stipulating that the RNC was prohibited from pre-election “ballot security” activates:

As modified in 1987, the Decree defined “ballot security activates” to mean “ballot integrity, ballot security or other efforts to prevent or remedy vote fraud.

One section is particularly disturbing. Areas where minorities are living are in particular off limits for voter fraud protection measures. What message does this send to the DNC? Answer: Voter fraud will be allowed in minority areas; please target your efforts in those neighborhoods as this court is giving you a get-out-of-jail free card:

(e) refrain from undertaking any ballot security activities in polling places or election districts where the racial or ethnic composition of such districts is a factor in the decision to conduct, or the actual conduct of, such activities there and where a purpose or significant effect of such activities is to deter qualified voters from voting; and the conduct of such activities disproportionately in or directed toward districts that have a substantial proportion of racial or ethnic populations shall be considered relevant evidence of the existence of such a factor and purpose;

It should come as no surprise that voter fraud issues are rampant in the swing states districts where minorities make up a large percentage of the population.

Furthermore, the Court held that the RNC was barred from asserting this argument because the RNC willingly entered the Decree as a means of settling the initial 1981 lawsuit and the RNC again consented to the Decree, as modified, in 1987. The District Court also held that the Decree did not violate the First Amendment because, under the Decree, the RNC is free to communicate with state parties about subjects other than ballot security. Additionally, the Court noted that the First Amendment applies only to state actions and does not prevent private parties from agreeing to refrain from certain types of speech.

Prior to the 2012 elections, the RNC again attempted to have the consent decree vacated. An Obama-appointed Judge Joseph Greenway, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals, 3rd Circuit, denied the petition.

This past week’s ruling on Monday, January the 14th by the SCOTUS to refuse to hear the case brought by the RNC to end the consent order suggests there will be no end to rampant voter fraud; this ruling is an open invitation to the DNC and it’s affiliates to perpetrate fraud with no repercussions, accountability, or scrutiny.

Obama won the 2012 election by 400,000 votes in 4 swing states. All of these states had precincts that had statistical miracles of 99% of the vote going to Obama and voter registration numbers far in excess of their actual population counts. Additionally, all of these same states had claims of voter machine errors changing individual votes cast from Romney to Obama. With the RNC’s hands tied, barring them from any action to remedy the situation, we are bound for more of the same in the upcoming 2014 and 2016 election cycles.

No U.S. citizen should ever have to wonder if their vote was canceled out by a fraudulent vote. The system is set up to fail the legitimate voter; we demand integrity, full transparency, and accountability in our elections!

What is the solution to this predicament? See my article Addressing Voter Fraud – A 14 Point Plan For 2013. Force action by your State Representatives and Governors, or be content to be obsolete.

Progressives’ Ridiculous Gun Control Argument

By Susan Stamper Brown

second amendment SC Progressives Ridiculous Gun Control Argument

Once again, Conservatives have latched onto the bait tossed out by Progressives in their never-ending campaign to grab guns from the hands of law-abiding citizens. Gun control is just one aspect of the Progressive agenda; in essence, they want control of everyone and everything any way they can.

Toward this end, they will tell you anything to get what they want. For example, they say they are multiculturalists, right up until election season when cultures become pawns to move around the political battlefield. All non-compliant free-thinkers are dealt with accordingly.

Consider the war on women last year contrived to convince women the Democrat Party is the place for them. In the end, they made women look more like sex objects best left in the bedroom. It was demeaning to listen to all the noise made about free birth control at the DNC last summer; I fully expected to see birth control pills and NuvaRings rain down from the ceiling at convention’s close. And how about President Obama’s new near estrogen-free cabinet? The party for women? Hah.

So now they say we urgently need gun control. And, they are exploiting children the same way they exploit minorities and women to get it. The Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre is a means to an end. On MSNBC recently, guest Patricia Maisch said that “It’s a shame we had to get to the 20 little martyrs” at Sandy Hook to take action regarding gun control. Little martyrs? Martyrs for what? The religion of gun control?

The time has come for Progressives to come clean about gun control. Drop the word “gun” and we’ll be a little closer to having an honest conversation. But since they won’t, please let me help. I recently visited one of my favorite Progressive websites, where I ran across an article claiming gun control measures would do little to change anything because Americans at large are too evil and violent. It’s hard to reconcile all the America-loathing out there, but there is a simple solution: Renounce your citizenship and purchase a one-way plane ticket.

The article failed to present an honest assessment of facts and figures, most likely to incite an emotional, rather than rational, response, hence inspiring me to go fact digging, which led me to the FBI’s Expanded Homicide Data Table number 8.

According to the FBI, in 2010, there were 8,775 gun homicides. Of those, 6009 were from handguns, 358 from rifles, 373 from shotguns, 96 by “other” guns, and 1939 “not specified.” This breakdown doesn’t bode well for those promoting re-regulation of assault weapons. According to the Chronicle of Higher Education, most mass murders are committed with “firearms that would not be restricted by an assault weapons ban.”

The same FBI report disclosed that knives and cutting instrument deaths (1704) quadrupled rifle deaths; and 540 people died from blunt objects, similar to the Golden Globe award Anne Hathaway just received and labeled as a “lovely blunt object that I will forevermore use as a weapon against self-doubt.” Knock yourself out, Anne. Anyway, I digress. If one applied the same twisted logic as Vice President Biden, who recently said “If only one life is saved, it’s worth it,” then I suppose we need to ban big shiny club-like award objects. Or maybe we need to ban the use of appendages, since almost twice the amount of people who died from shotgun wounds were killed by hands, fists, or feet. While we’re at it, we need to do something about falling because, according to the CDC, 24,792 people died as a result in 2009.

Progressives’ logic on this issue is ridiculous. And it is ridiculous for Conservatives to participate because in the end, Progressives may not get everything they want, but will get more than they should. In reality, according to the aforementioned FBI report, firearm murders dropped significantly from 2006 to 2010; while, according to Bloomberg Business, gun sales have exploded since 2009, meaning the real answer to less gun deaths is more guns.
