WASHINGTON — Beyond the investigations, it’s business as usual for Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez.
The new Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman presides over hearings on North Korea and travels to Afghanistan and Pakistan. As a New Jersey senator, he welcomes professors and students from Rutgers University and the state’s National Council of Jewish Women.
And as a Cuban-American, Menendez has been working into the evening daily with other senators on overhauling the nation’s immigration system.

Dr. Melgen Could Sell Menendez Out
Bob Menendez is a Democrat and therefore usually has immunity from prosecution or even penalties for crimes that would put the average person in hot water and a Republican in prison for life without parole.
Nevertheless, New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez could (operative word COULD) end up having to resign “to spend more time with his family” as Democrats who have been caught red handed often do.
Menendez is the embodiment of what makes New Jersey the most corrupt state in America. He was taught the ways of corruption by the Hudson County crime machine. He learned the “pay for play”, contribution shakedown for promotions rackets as he worked his way up the ladder from soldier to captain to Capo. Follow his financial disclosure forms over the years, trace the “meteoric” rise of the civil servants who donated increasingly larger amounts to him and you’ll come to the same conclusion.
Now Menendez has been exposed as the degenerate his is. Traveling to a foreign country to purchase sex from an underage person is a federal felony and he has been named by at least three such persons.
This may mean little since these girls will either refuse to testify or disappear from the corners they work. But there is a ray of hope that Menendez will fall under the weight of this scandal. That ray of hope is Dr. Salomon Melgen, a Miami eye doctor, who is at the center of his own investigation for income tax evasion. Ordinarily as a BIG Democrat contributor Melgen would also be immune from punishment for this crime, but these are not ordinary times.
If the IRS lets Melgen off the hook they will lose thousands of similar cases and maybe $billions in uncollectable revenue. A deal might be the way out for both sides.
The federal law against traveling to a foreign country to pay for sex with a child (under 18 as defined by the statute) also makes anyone who arranges such meetings guilty of “human trafficking and child exploration.” The penalty for either infraction is thirty years in prison.
Melgen is no Rezko or Blagojevich. They are hardened criminals who have chosen to do the time rather than end up dead for ratting out Barack Obama. When the IRS demands answers Melgen doesn’t want to give, maybe just maybe, he’ll remember he knows something about Menendez and his underage haram. Maybe he might want to play “Let’s Make a Deal.” Maybe that will bring Menendez down.
A “What Difference, At This Point, Does It Make?” Update
By Emma Karlin
For pure arrogance and quintessential liberal hubris, it’s hard to beat Hillary Clinton’s “What difference, at this point, does it make?” When asked about how four innocent Americans died during the attack in Benghazi, she cleverly gave the media a way to write her guilt away with that line. It was too bad that the timid Republicans were unable to muster the courage to turn the line around on her and ask: “If that is the case, why do we do autopsies?” or “Why does the NTSB investigate airplane crashes if, at this point, it makes no difference ?” “What difference, at this point, does it make?”
Since the Republicans allowed this outrage to pass without challenge, it seems fitting to ask a few other questions that SHOULD matter; but of course, since asking them would embarrass Democrats, we never will.
Each should be read followed by “What difference, at this point, does it make?”
Three more Americans were killed by Islamist murderers in Algeria:
The GDP fell to -.1%:
It will cost $20,000 a year for Obamacare’s free medical coverage:
Pump prices are at their highest level on record for this time of year:
Chuck Hagel knows nothing about anything:
Bob Menendez sleeps with underage hookers in the Dominican Republic:
Kathleen Sebelius violated campaign finance laws:
Osama bin laden is dead, but Al Qaeda isn’t:
Military women can’t do the same things military men can:
There are no women in Obama’s top ruling circle:
Obama has killed 175 children with drone strikes:
Democrats want to track guns, but not voters:
Welfare cards are being used at strip clubs:
Abortions have reduced the number of Black people in America by 33%:
Anti-gun Democrats send their children to schools made safe by armed guards:
More Red States than Blue States run budget surpluses:
Black unemployment is twice White unemployment:
Seven of ten Americans say we are on the wrong track:
What difference, at this point, do the answers to these questions make? Well, actually a lot; but since these questions will never be asked, no difference at all.
Reid Stands Up For Underage Sex Addict Menendez
By Avg Joe
What’s wrong with this picture? Allegedly, Democrat Senator Robert Menendez of New Jersey used a political donor’s plane to travel to the Dominican Republic for a sex holiday with underage prostitutes. That should turn your stomach enough. But wait, there is more. He stiffed them, literally; he didn’t pay what he promised, which resulted in him being outed by the madam. The story that broke the night before the election indicated that this was not his first venture to the political donor’s vacation residence and not the first time Menendez had used his plane.
Senator Harry Reid, in an interview with with ABC News’ “This Week With George Stephanopoulos”, defended his good friend from New Jersey, allowing him to keep his Chairmanship of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee while the ethics committee investigates the charges of illegal gifts. My God, where is the sanity, morality, and outrage?
Have you heard anything about this in the mainstream media? It’s only been about, let’s say, two months, which should have been enough time to conduct some sort of preliminary investigation. What do Democrats have to do before they come out and say “I have discredited my country; I resign in shame”?
In the liberal’s mind, nothing could be further from the truth. Because Dirty Harry says the Senator can still be effective, they aren’t going to do anything yet. Using a campaign donor’s plane to travel to that donor’s private retreat in another country to pay for sex with underage girls apparently isn’t shameful enough for Senator Menendez to resign, or for Harry Reid to take action against him. We should demand a public flogging of both Reid and Menendez.

Democrat Denies Involvement With Underage Prostitutes
WASHINGTON (OfficialWire) — Sen. Robert Menendez’s office said Wednesday that he traveled three times on a plane owned by a prominent Florida political donor but that the trips were paid for and reported appropriately. At the same time, Menendez’s office said unsubstantiated allegations the senator engaged in sex with prostitutes in the Dominican Republic are false.
The FBI searched the West Palm Beach, Fla., office of the donor — eye doctor Salomon Melgen — on Tuesday night and early Wednesday, but it was unclear if the raid was related to Menendez, a New Jersey Democrat.
Records filed in Palm Beach County show an Internal Revenue Service lien against Melgen of more than $11.1 million for unpaid taxes from 2006 through 2009. Prior liens for taxes from 1998 to 2002 were subsequently withdrawn, records show.
The Daily Caller, a conservative website, reported shortly before the November election that Menendez traveled on Melgen’s private plane to the Dominican Republic to engage in sex with prostitutes.
Menendez’s office said that any accusations of engaging with prostitutes “are manufactured by a politically motivated right-wing blog and are false.”
At FBI headquarters in Washington, spokesman Jason Pack said the bureau “cannot comment on the existence or status of an investigation.” Justice Department spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler also declined to comment.
Dominican Prostitute: Sen. Bob Menendez ‘likes The Youngest And Newest Girls’
In a little-noticed email published online Wednesday by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), a young Dominican woman wrote nine months ago that she slept with 59-year-old New Jersey Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez at a series of sex parties organized by Dr. Salomon Melgen, a longtime Menendez campaign donor.
“That senator also likes the youngest and newest girls,” the woman wrote on April 21, 2002, according to an English translation provided to The Daily Caller by a native Spanish speaker.
“In the beginning he seemed so serious, because he never spoke to anyone, but he is just like the others and has just about the same tastes as the doctor, very refined. I think they were taking us more often to get us checked [medically] because of him.”

FBI raids office of doctor tied to Sen. Menendez, report says
The FBI late Tuesday night raided the office of a South Florida eye doctor who allegedly provided young prostitutes to Sen. Bob Menendez.
The Miami Herald reports thatFBI agents removed items from Dr. Salomon Melgen’s West Palm Beach, Fla., business as part of an investigation believed to be focusing on Melgen’s finances and allegations about prostitutes.
Melgen, a top contributor to Menendez’s federal campaigns, has an outstanding IRS lien of $11.1 million for taxes owed between 2006 to 2009, according to records obtained from the Palm Beach County recorder’s office, the newspaper reported.
The Daily Caller reported in November that Menendez, D-N.J., allegedly had sexual relations with several prostitutes at Melgen’s mansion in the Dominican Republic.
The senator‘s office has rejected the prostitution charges for months.
The FBI last week declined to comment on the release ofemails appearing to show the agency communicating with an individual claiming to know about Menendez’ liaisons.
A spokeswoman for Menendez told FoxNews.com that the emails were “unsubstantiated garbage.”
Attempts by The Miami Herald to reach Melgen and a spokesman for Menendez for comment Tuesday were unsuccessful.

Senate Panel Approves Kerry Nomination
WASHINGTON (OfficialWire) — The Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Tuesday swiftly and unanimously approved President Barack Obama’s choice of Sen. John Kerry to succeed Hillary Rodham Clinton as secretary of state.
By voice vote, the panel approved the nomination of the five-term Massachusetts Democrat, who has been a member of the committee for 28 years and led it for the past four. The full Senate likely will vote on Tuesday afternoon.
Kerry did not attend the session in the ornate diplomatic room in the Capitol. In his absence, Democrats and Republicans praised Kerry and remarked on his extensive grasp of the issues during his confirmation hearing last Thursday.
“Long-winded,” joked Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., a Kerry friend who had introduced the senator at that hearing.
Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., who succeeds Kerry as committee chairman, said the senator would be a “formidable secretary of state.”
FBI mum on allegations Sen. Menendez 'received the services of young prostitutes' in Dominican Republic
The FBI is declining to comment on newly emerged documents that appear to show the agency investigating allegations that Sen. Bob Menendez “received the services of young prostitutes” while in the Dominican Republic — a charge the senator‘s office has rejected for months.
