Billionaires 2013: Notable Newcomers Tory Burch, Nicholas Woodman, Renzo Rosso

This year 210 people from 42 countries joined the Forbes Billionaires ranks. Among the most notable is fashion icon Tory Burch, whose $200 ballet flats and preppy women’s wear brand have launched her–as well as ex-husband Chris Burch–to billionaire status. Burch, 46, is the second youngest self-made female billionaire in America, after Spanx inventor Sara Blakely, 42. In December, former company co-chair Chris Burch sold part of his 28.3% stake in Tory Burch LLC, valuing the entire company more than $3 billion. …read more
