Lavender Lipstick: Leona Lewis, Emmy Rossum And Jessica Alba Try The Spring Trend (PHOTOS)

Now that spring is finally here, it’s time that we freshen up our beauty routine. (Because clearly it doesn’t take much to get stuck in a makeup rut.) Besides painting on pastel nail polishes, we’ve been inspired by a few celebrities to reach for lavender lipstick.

While making press rounds to promote her new cruelty-free beauty collection with The Body Shop, British singer Leona Lewis looked almost doll-like wearing side-swept curls, winged eyeliner and a matte lavender lip color. Much like Alba, Lewis’ pastel lipstick shade was the perfect pick for her black-and-white outfit.

“Shameless” star Emmy Rossum stood out on the “A Night at Sardi’s” Gala red carpet in a ’20s-inspired dress and finger waves hairstyle. But we especially loved how her lavender lipstick gave the retro ensemble a modern touch.

Jennifer and Emmy Take On Winter's Slickest Coat, Two Ways

Despite being in different cities, Jennifer Lawrence (at Heathrow airport) and Emmy Rossum (at LAX) did have one thing in common: both took on one of our favorite Winter coat silhouettes – the always cool leather-sleeved coat – with jet-setting ease. Jennifer’s black version, adorned with gold buttons, proved very military-inspired, while Emmy kept herself warm in a navy coat with black leather sleeves. With this kind of mixed-media outerwear, you can style it two ways, and take it from these ladies on just how to do it. Jennifer completed her London look with gray ripped jeans, black booties, and a purple hat, and Emmy finished her outfit with faded blue skinny jeans, black ballet flats, and this Jimmy Choo chain-embellished bag ($1,795).
