THE FACTS: In a matchup of young point guards, Kemba Walker scored a game-high 24 points as the Charlotte Bobcats held off the Cleveland Cavaliers 105-98 at Time Warner Cable Arena in the season finale for both teams. The Bobcats finish the season at 21-61 tripling their win total from a year ago. Kyrie Irving scored 24 points for the Cavaliers who finish the season 24-58

Notebook: Knicks 106, Bobcats 95

THE FACTS: The New York Knicks used what amounted to a glorified summer league roster Monday night and it showed as they lost 106-95 in a meaningless game to the league’s worst team, the Charlotte Bobcats, at Time Warner Cable Arena. Charlotte, which led by as many as 23 points, was led by Gerald Henderson with 27 points. The Knicks were paced by Chris Copeland‘s career and game-high 32 points.

THE FACTS: The Milwaukee Bucks dropped their fourth straight game and locked themselves into the eighth seed in the upcoming playoffs with a 95-85 loss to the Charlotte Bobcats Saturday night at Time Warner Cable Arena. As a result the Bucks will face the Miami Heat when the playoffs begin later this month. Charlotte’s Kemba Walker led all scorers with 21 points while Mike Dunleavy had 19 off the bench to lead Milwaukee.
