THE FACTS: Despite suffering a dislocated shoulder late in the game, Chris Copeland became the first Knick rookie to have back-to-back 30-point games since Bill Cartwright in 1980 when he went for a career-high 33 points as the Knicks closed the regular season by beating the Atlanta Hawks 98-92 at Madison Square Garden.

THE FACTS: The New York Knicks used what amounted to a glorified summer league roster Monday night and it showed as they lost 106-95 in a meaningless game to the league’s worst team, the Charlotte Bobcats, at Time Warner Cable Arena. Charlotte, which led by as many as 23 points, was led by Gerald Henderson with 27 points. The Knicks were paced by Chris Copeland‘s career and game-high 32 points.

Anthony had his 24th straight 20-plus points game for New York (24-13). Knicks rookie Chris Copeland started and added 22 points, including 4-of-8 from beyond the arc.
