Jesse And The Rippers Reunite On ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ To Perform ‘Full House’ Medley (VIDEO)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Need a little Uncle Jesse in your life? You got it, dude! It’s been almost 20 years since Jesse and The Rippers performed together, but the fictional “Full House” band reunited on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on Friday and they absolutely delivered.

John Stamos, who played Jesse Katsopolis on “Full House,” truly got in the spirit of the Jesse and The Rippers reunion, donning his signature mullet and black leather vest to sing a medley (above) of “Forever” by the Beach Boys, Elvis’ “Little Sister,” Chan Romero’s “Hippy Hippy Shake” (which the band last performed at Walt Disney World on an episode of “Full House”) and last, but certainly not least, the “Full House” theme song. Diehard “Full House” fans will notice the Smash Club sign hanging from the ceiling in Jesse and The Rippers’ honor. Of course, Stamos threw in a “Have Mercy” mid-performance for good measure before he ran into the audience where fellow “Full House” alum Bob Saget danced along.

Lori Loughlin, who played Jesse’s wife Rebecca (née Donaldson), even stopped by at the end of the performance to give Stamos a kiss. Whoa, whoa, whoa — watch the hair, Aunt Becky!

After rolling a clip from the Hamm episode, Scott announced that there are three more episodes coming and the next one will feature none other than his “Parks and Rec” co-star Amy Poehler, as well as “SNL” alum Horatio Sanz.

Scott would not, however, reveal which TV show they’ll be spoofing. Watch the clip from “Late Night” above and let us know your best guess on which show he and Amy are taking on in the comments. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for “The Greatest American Hero”, which seems apt.

By Chris Perry, Contributor

As news began to surface this week that a promotion was in the works, Jimmy Fallon read through a series of tweets on-air at Late Night. Allison Williams Talks About Performing Kanye West’s ‘Stronger’ For ‘Girls’ On ‘Late Night’ (VIDEO)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Fans of “Girls” got to see Allison Williams dusting off her singing chops on the latest episode of the hit HBO show. But it certainly wasn’t on a track anyone would have anticipated. In a scene that Vulture called both “mortifying” and “cringe-worthy,” Allison’s character, Marnie, gave a surprise performance at her ex-boyfriend’s business party. She performed Kanye West’s “Stronger.” But her original take was very different, as she explained on “Late Night.”

When she got the script, she assumed that she’d be rapping the song as Kanye does, so that’s what she prepared for the table read. “The moment comes in the script and I go for it. I rap the entire song,” Williams said. “At the end, Lena [Dunham] came up to me … and she said, ‘That was so great. Um, in the show, it’s just gonna be a ballad.'”

And that’s exactly what it was on screen: a stripped down ballad that actually sounded rather pleasant, but did not go over well in that situation at all.
