The Avengers 2 to Start Shooting in February 2014

Joss Whedon has revealed that Marvel’s The Avengers 2 will start shooting in February 2014, ahead of it’s May 2015 release.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the director explained that the storyline for the superhero sequel is something he’s been thinking about for a long time; so long, in fact, that he actually knew what he wanted to happen in The Avengers 2 before he’d worked out the story for the first one.

“We should start shooting I think in February,” he explained. “I didn’t think I was gonna do the second one, but I had an idea for it before I had figured out the first one.

Mark Hamill on Star Wars: Episode VII

Recent reports have surfaced that Harrison Ford is indeed set to return for Star Wars: Episode VII and that the film will focus on the Skywalker and Solo children. Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, spoke to Entertainment Tonight recently to clarify his involvement and talk a bit about the possible return of Luke, Leia and Han Solo.

wanted to know whether we’d be interested. He did say that if we didn’t want to do it, they wouldn’t cast another actor in our parts – they would write us out. … I can tell you right away that we haven’t signed any contracts. We’re in the stage where they want us to go in and meet with Michael Arndt, who is the writer, and Kathleen Kennedy, who is going to run Lucasfilm. Both have had meetings set that were postponed — on their end, not mine. They’re more busy than I am.”

The Fashionably Late Show With André Leon Talley

Jay Leno and David Letterman may soon have some very stylish competition: André Leon Talley has signed a deal to develop a late-night television show.

Talley has teamed up with Electus, the television production company that’s worked on Fashion Star and Mob Wives, on making the concept a reality. He told WWD that he wants to create a program “that blends Dick Cavett‘s approach to eloquence and sophistication with unparalleled access into my international fashion lifestyle. A forum where unique stories will be told and inspirations shared.”

Of course, Talley has been inspiring audiences on screens big and small with appearances in movies like The September Issue and stints on shows like America’s Next Top Model and Entertainment Tonight. Talley will still work with Vogue, for which he stars in the weekly online video series Mondays with André, but there’s no doubt his already high star is continuing to rise.

Super Bowl Media Day Highlights the NFL's Business Enterprise

By Alicia Jessop, Contributor Super Bowl Media Day has been described by some as a “circus.”  And that is for good reason.  Earlier today, over 3,000 members of the media descended upon the Superdome field to interview San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens players.  As if 3,000 members of the media being in one place isn’t enough to make something a circus, there was more.  Grown men wore capes.  One guy, dressed as what can only be described as a viking costume, claimed that he was representing restaurant chain Hooter’s and gave a moving speech about finding inner-peace.  Reporters from Mexico asked players to recite lines in Spanish while one snarky reporter demanded that every offensive lineman say something “offensive.”  And of course, there was Brent Musburger‘s favorite girlfriend of an Alabama quarterback, Katherine Webb, reporting for Entertainment Tonight and drawing more interviews for herself than the amount drawn by some players.
