THE FACTS: Point guard Norris Cole collected a season-high 16 points, a career-high 11 rebounds, and a career-high nine assists in leading the Miami Heat to a 96-95 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Small forward Rashard Lewis paced the Heat with 19 points, while shooting guard Ray Allen added 11 points and six assists off the bench. Power forward Tristan Thompson, All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving, and shooting guard Dion Waiters scored 16 points apiece for the Cavaliers. Cole stole the ball from Irving on the final possession of the game to give Miami its franchise-record 65th win of the season.

Heat Beat Raptors 108-91, Extend Winning Streak To 22 (VIDEO)

TORONTO — The Miami Heat equaled the second-longest winning streak in NBA history, pulling away in the fourth quarter Sunday to beat the Toronto Raptors 108-91 for their 22nd consecutive victory.

LeBron James had 22 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists, Dwyane Wade added 24 points and nine assists, and Ray Allen scored 16 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter for the defending NBA champions.

THE FACTS: The Miami Heat tied the second-longest winning streak in NBA history at 22 games, defeating the Toronto Raptors 108-91 on Sunday at Air Canada Centre. Miami (51-14) started their streak on February 3 in Toronto, and have yet to lose since. They were led by Dwyane Wade‘s 24 points and nine assists and LeBron James’ 22 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. J.J. Barea, Ray Allen Altercation: Timberwolves Guard Ejected After Hard Foul (VIDEO)

The Miami Heat’s franchise-record 15th straight victory was marred by a fourth-quarter altercation between Ray Allen and Minnesota’s J.J. Barea, which led to an ejection and plenty of jawing.

With the Heat leading 76-70, Allen tried backing Barea down on the perimeter. The Heat veteran appeared to push the diminutive T-Wolves guard to get some separation. When Allen drove to the basket, Barea went right back at him, knocking him to the ground. A foul was called but one of the NBA TV announcers called it “a semi-flop by Ray Allen.”

Allen got up and tried to confront Barea, only to be held back by Dwyane Wade and a couple of officials. Barea was charged with a flagrant foul type 2, which results in an ejection. As Barea walked off the court, he and Allen continued to jaw at each other.

THE FACTS: Dwyane Wade and LeBron James carried the Miami Heat to their 10th consecutive victory following a 24-point rout of the Philadelphia 76ers, 114-90, before a sellout crowd of 20,665 Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Center. Wade had a sensational shooting night, going 14-for-18 for a game-high 33 points while James earned his 35th career triple-double with the Heat after compiling 16 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. Mario Chalmers scored 14 points and Chris Bosh had 13 for the Heat, who improved to 39-14, the best record in the Eastern Conference. THE FACTS: Paul Pierce had a triple-double and hit the game-winning jumper with 30 seconds remaining, helping to snap Boston’s six-game losing streak with a 100-98 victory over the Miami Heat in double overtime Sunday. The impressive victory and Ray Allen‘s return to the TD Garden was overshadowed by the news that the Celtics will be without Rajon Rondo, who tore his right ACL, for the remainder of the season. He suffered the injury Friday night in Atlanta. Pierce (17 points, 13 rebounds, 10 assists) and Kevin Garnett (24 points, 11 rebounds) carried the shorthanded Celtics without their All-Star point guard. LeBron James had a game-high 34 points for the visitors, who had their four-game winning streak snapped.
