Curry scored 29 points and the Blue Devils beat Michigan State 71-61 on Friday night to advance to the Midwest Regional final in the NCAA tournament.

Battle of Two Coaches – It's Madness

Tonight at 9:45 pm in Indianapolis, a battle will be fought between two powerhouses, Michigan State and Duke. Although ten men will be on the court at any given time, two legends will be on the sidelines. Mike Krzyzewski, Coach K, has led the Blue Devils to 11 Final Fours and four championship titles – he’s the winningest coach in NCAA Division I men’s basketball history. Equally impressive is Tom Izzo, who’s led his Spartans squad to sixteen straight NCAA tournaments since 1998, despite plenty of setbacks along the way. For me, the magic of March Madness isn’t just the impeccable basketball played night after night, but rather the expert leadership and coaching styles on display throughout the tournament. Duke Edges Miami, 79-76: Ryan Kelly Scores 36 Points, Lifts No. 3 Blue Devils

DURHAM, N.C. — Ryan Kelly scored a career-high 36 points in his return from a foot injury that had sidelined him since January, helping third-ranked Duke beat fifth-ranked Miami 79-76 on Saturday night.

Kelly knocked down 10 of 14 shots – including 7 of 9 3-pointers_ for the Blue Devils (25-4, 12-4 Atlantic Coast Conference), who avenged a blowout road loss in January by grinding out a tough win in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Quinn Cook added 15 points as Duke built a 10-point lead with about 2 minutes left then held off a frantic rally by Miami.

Duke Beats Virginia Tech 88-56: Seth Curry, Mason Plumlee Lead No. 6 Blue Devils Past Hokies

BLACKSBURG, Va. — Seth Curry scored 19 of his 22 points in the first half as No. 6 Duke opened a 20-point lead and sent Virginia Tech to its ninth consecutive loss, 88-56 on Thursday night.

Rasheed Sulaimon added 17 points and Mason Plumlee had 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Blue Devils (23-3, 10-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) as they moved coach Mike Krzyzewski into sole possession of third place on the career list for victories at one school with 877.
