The PlayStation Music Video: Go Beyond!

Podcast Beyond just celebrated it’s 300th episode, and the party ended with a PlayStation-inspired music video from all-star animator PandaMusk and singer/songwriter Danny Weissner called “Go Beyond!” If you missed it, we’ve embedded the original music video below. Ever heard of this IGN show Up at Noon? On it, we give you gaming news and try to make it funny before jumping into an interview with a super-special guest. Monday’s show is going to feature Jason Mewes — Jay from Jay and Silent Bob.

Injustice: Superman vs. Batman, DLC Reveal

It’s a question as old as time — who would win in a fight: Batman or Superman? Today, the makers of Injustice: Gods Among Us are answering it. At 7 p.m. Pacific (10 p.m. Eastern, 2 a.m. GMT), the embed below will stream the fight and reveal a new downloadable character for the game.

Fuse Release Date

Anxious to get your hands on Fuse, the four-player cooperative third-person shooter? Well, we now have a release date. Fuse arrives May 28th in North America and May 31st in Europe. Fuse, of course, is from developer Insomniac Games and marks the first one of its titles to ever appear on the Xbox 360. Originally called Overstrike, Fuse puts you and your friends in control of four mercs and unleashes you on a whirlwind adventure.

Let's Play SimCity Every Day Forever

Excited for SimCity’s launch tomorrow? So am I — IGN‘s Greg Miller. I’m so excited that I’m streaming the game for nine hours here on IGN, but that’s tomorrow. Today, I’m debuting an ongoing feature.

It’s called IGN Plays SimCity. It’s super-catchy, I know.

PS Plus Update: Free Closure, Lots of Discounts

It’s Monday, and that means that Sony’s sharing what PlayStation Plus benefits go live tomorrow when the PlayStation Store updates. PlayStation Plus, of course, is Sony’s subscription service where users pay a flat fee ($49.99 a year / $17.99 for three months) and are rewarded with exclusive demos, discounts, and free games for as long as they’re a subscriber.

    Urban Trial Freestyle Release Date

    Last month, IGN introduced you to Urban Trial Freestyle — basically, a Trials HD for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Today, we can tell you it’s coming February 19th to the PlayStation Network. Urban Trial Freestyle puts you on a motorbike and challenges you with time trials, stunts and collectibles.     PlayStation Store Coming to the Web

    After launching a Web browser version of the PlayStation Store in Europe last year, Sony is ready to bring the feature to North America this month. Speaking with CNET, Sony Network Entertainment COO Shawn Layden confirmed that U.S. gamers will be able to view store content and buy it from their browser of choice – “Eventually, the Web store will allow users to buy a game on the browser and have that content automatically downloaded on the PlayStation 3,” the article states.
