Podcast Beyond just celebrated it’s 300th episode, and the party ended with a PlayStation-inspired music video from all-star animator PandaMusk and singer/songwriter Danny Weissner called “Go Beyond!” If you missed it, we’ve embedded the original music video below. Once you’ve seen that, watch the Rewind Theater we did on it to catch all the PlayStation characters and homages as well as all the IGN references.
Thank you for your six years of support, and thank you, Panda and Danny, for such a touching tribute. Beyond!

It’s pretty clear a bunch of us here at IGN have once again come down with a case of Dark Souls fever. Between our exclusive gameplay reveal and sit-down chat with the game’s lead designer, we’re once-again itching to kindle a bonfire.
While there are still countless questions surrounding the highly-anticipated sequel, one major mystery sprang from our Rewind Theater of the new Despair trailer. At two separate moments throughout the minute-long look at DSII, you can catch a brief glimpse of an unknown, but certainly menacing demon. The first time is 52 seconds into the trailer, while the second flash is at 54. This creature only appears for a frame or two, so it’s entirely possible to miss the beast altogether.
