Quentin Tarantino’s Birthday: 50 Movie Quotes To Celebrate Director’s 50th Birthday

Famed director Quentin Tarantino turns the ripe old age of 50 on Wednesday, March 27. Tarantino made his name with bold, boundary-pushing films such as 1992’s “Reservoir Dogs,” 1994’s “Pulp Fiction,” and 1997’s “Jackie Brown.”

Tarantino was nominated for Best Director for “Pulp Fiction” at the 1995 Oscars, but he won the award for Best Original Screenplay at the ceremony. In 2010, “Inglourious Basterds” earned Tarantino Oscar nominations for Best Original Screenplay and Best Director, while 2013’s Best Picture-nominee “Django Unchained” also won Tarantino the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

Sam Mendes Lists His Movie Inspirations

Sam Mendes won the Inspiration Award at the Jameson Empire do last night, and the Skyfall director gave a fantastic speech in which he listed the films and scenes that have inspired him.

AMC Launches YEAH! Streaming Movie Site

AMC today announced the launch of YEAH!, a streaming movie site that offers viewers a brand new way to experience classic genre films, including Pulp Fiction, Terminator, Clerks and over 50 other titles coming this year.

Unlike other streaming sites, each YEAH! movie is enhanced with interactive features like fun facts, quizzes and never-before-seen interviews with the filmmakers and stars. This is all displayed on-screen without obscuring the actual movie. Some other titles coming up: Scream, Reservoir Dogs, 300, The Crow, Superman: The Movie, Kill Bill Volumes 1 & 2, Blade Runner: The Final Cut, Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, Dirty Dancing, The Shining, Watchmen and Hannibal.

Community Salutes the Movies
