Race-obsessed Host’s Radical Background Exposed

By B. Christopher Agee

Touré is able to reach literally dozens of viewers via his position as an MSNBC host. In that capacity, he seems to find a way to interweave the inherent racism of conservatives into any story that crosses his path.

Before he held such a prominent position among the leftist elite, though, the reporter cut his race-baiting teeth as the founder, editor, and publisher of a student newspaper at Emory University.

Known as “The Fire This Time,” Touré only accepted funding from blacks and not only defended but openly championed the causes of notorious black supremacy advocates.

He went further, inviting those he deemed “role models from the real world” to the university as guest speakers.

Before a spiritual reawakening led him to leave its racist theology to become a Baptist minister, Conrad Muhammad was set to take over Louis Farrakhan’s post as the head of the Nation of Islam. During this anti-white, anti-Semitic portion of his life, though, he was one of the speakers invited by Touré.

His collection of objectionable “role models” is lengthy and also includes a man who was once on the FBI Most Wanted List and a woman who claimed whites are part of an inferior mutant race.

Touré also incredibly kept harping on a supposed race-based vandalism on campus, even after the complainant admitted it was all a hoax.

The man who currently pollutes the cable airwaves with rants based entirely on skin color obviously did not develop his extreme views overnight. These reports show that his abnormal obsession with race extends at least as far back as his college education.

His background – Touré was raised in an affluent suburb of Boston and attended an exclusive preparatory school – does not seem to include the hardships that often attract black youth to such extreme views. Somewhere along the line, though, the progressive media darling nurtured a radical worldview that puts him in league with countless other talking heads who see all events through the filter of race.

White Boogeymen And Black Supervillains

By capblack

Al Sharpton SC White Boogeymen And Black Supervillains

I have searched the Hood high and low looking for its supervillains. This search has yielded a Rogues Gallery of colorful characters, most of whom are themselves Hood residents.

The White Boogeyman has yet to cross my path.

While conservative men, immigrant businessmen, and capitalism generally are Black America’s preferred scapegoats; homegrown hell-raisers get a pass.

Our supervillain lens seems set to ignore the supervillain culture urging youth to be ever more vulgar and violent.

This lens also does cultural editing where daily Black shooters I call chocolate Klansmen are deleted in favor of the occasional police officer or non-Black citizen shooting one of us.

Black supervillains have it made.

They have their own high profile lobbyists, like Al SharptonLouis Farrakhan, and civil rights organizations like the NAACP to propose softening penalties for their crimes.

Any wrong they do can always be blamed, no matter how improbably, on the likes of Mitt Romney or…Rush Limbaugh.

Black supervillains are never at fault for what they do and thus enjoy unlimited license to destroy even more generations while the Black mainstream contents itself to look for White boogeymen.

This deadly serious game of White Boogeymen and Black Supervillains has nearly destroyed the inner city, has Black popular culture on life support, and promises to forever remove most American Blacks from contention as competitors in this marketplace.

It’s hard for me as an anti-crime activist to ignore the surplus of Black supervillains around me in the inner city, in favor of distant White boogeymen.

Loving thugs who refuse to repent is literally costing us everything!

Crime fighting, like charity, begins at home!

Black History Month In Perspective

By G. Michael Fielding

Black History Month SC Black History Month In Perspective

In February, we will be celebrating Black History Month.  It is a time to reflect and remember how African Americans came out of the “mire and muck” of a time where they weren’t even considered to be human, to now when we finally have doctors, lawyers, judges, Supreme Court judges, congressman, congresswomen, leaders, business leaders, IT executives, and yes, now finally a President of the United States who happens to be Black.  Reading that on the surface, any ordinary person would think “this is great”; this is certainly something to celebrate and be encouraged by.  This is something people may wisely digest could inevitably help eliminate racism because it offers hope to other people who may be treated unfairly; and with a little bit of change in how we view others, true peace can be achieved.  But let us consider something that may be a little controversial.  Is Black History Month really a good thing?  Does it really help in eliminating racism?  Does it really offer a gleam of hope for those who are ill-treated and are the victims of racism themselves?  Or could it lead to something completely the opposite?  Could the concept of Black History Month be nothing more than the Manchurian poster child for equality?  Could it be something hidden?  Let us consider a few things:

Morgan Freeman, a four–time Oscar nominee, who finally won an Oscar for his supporting role in the film “Million Dollar Baby”, said that Black History Month is “ridiculous” and that it shouldn’t be relegated to a “month.”  Freeman had made this statement in a transcript on Today.com in which he also stated: “Black history is American history.”  He also pointed out that the only way to get rid of racism is to stop labeling one another as “black” or “white.”  “I’m going to stop calling you a white man,” Freeman said, “and I’m going to ask you to stop calling me a black man.”  I couldn’t have said it better myself.  (This is coming from a man associated with the Hollywood left.)

Black History month began with a man named Carter G. Woodson, who started the recognition of blacks in American history with something called Negro History Week in 1926.  It became known as Black History Month in 1976 and took up the entire month of February; and it has become quite a phenomenon here in the United States since.  With that said, some serious questions need to be asked about the state of Black History Month and about how the subject is being taught in our schools and proclaimed in our public libraries and bookstores.  Has anyone ever noticed a collage of the many black faces that grace the walls in our libraries and public schools during this time of the month?  Has anyone taken a look at the book shelves in the libraries and bookstores and glanced the required reading?  What faces do you see?  What books are you noticing?

Does anyone see pictures of Frederick Douglas, Booker T. Washington, Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth, and Georg Washington Carver, along with many more such men and women like them?  If you do, that is fantastic!  Hopefully, faces like them will forever be enshrined into the posters and bookshelves representing Black History Month.  However, are there also pictures of Malcolm X?  Are there pictures of Spike Lee?  God forbid pictures of the heavily racist Louis Farrakhan?  Has anyone ever seen pictures of W.E.B Dubois, one of the founders of the NAACP and self-acknowledged Communist and hater of America?  If you have seen these faces on Black History posters, as I have on occasion, there is reason to be concerned.  Seriously concerned and downright angered.  Not a hate-filled anger, but a righteous, indignant anger towards injustice.

Would it be right for an African American to be angered towards a Caucasian pastor, for instance, who happened to have as a guest speaker at his church a guy who’s been known throughout the country to use racial bigotry in his messages?  Of course, they should be filled with rage, as I would expect them to.  Since we are all created equal, and since equality, justice, and fair treatment was something African Americans of old fought so hard to achieve – which is what Black History month is also about — then what comes with freedom and equality is the freedom and equality to also be wrong and mislead.  What comes with equality is the ability to be able to accept equal treatment on being labeled biased and for being accused of being irresponsible.  You see, when one notices the faces of the African American men I mentioned above, not of the former but of the latter, plastered on posters in libraries and in schools, there should be a righteous indignation and a “calling out” of what is displayed for our children to see.  The Blacks, as well as Whites, Asians, Hispanics, etc, need to be honored in American histories that have enriched our culture.  The bigoted ones, on the other hand, need to be called out.

Russell Simmons Wants Peace Keepers In Schools, Not Armed Guards

By capblack

Russell Simmons SC Russell Simmons Wants Peace Keepers in Schools, Not Armed Guards

Peace Keepers is a mostly Black male violence mediation group founded by Mr. Dennis Muhammad in 2008, a member of Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam.

Unarmed, they squash “beefs ” (disputes) between urban men before triggers are pulled. Here in New Orleans and elsewhere, they have hotlines people can call when tempers flare.

Media mogul Russell Simmons recently called for Peace Keepers to be deployed as opposed to armed guards or more police in America’s schools.

As a citizen on patrol, I support the Peace Keepers concept since urban men are best positioned to address the homicide exploding in our ranks.

When Russell Simmons said they should be placed in schools instead of armed guards or more police, it raises a question: will school systems fund an organization whose heroic mediation includes close ties to Louis Farrakhan, considered racist and anti-Semitic by many in the mainstream?

Active in 25 US cities and the United Kingdom, if the Farrakhan question can be successfully resolved, the Peace Keepers will mediate disputes beyond their inner-city beat.

“I Am Present For Peace!” is their motto.

More peace is what we need; and where possible, it should be privately provided instead of relying on government.

Anti-Semitism charge provokes furor in Germany

By hnn

LONDON — The Simon Wiesenthal Center has prompted an outraged debate in Germany after it included a prominent German journalist’s remarks in its annual top 10 list of anti-Semitic and anti-Israel slurs.

The Los Angeles-based organization, named for a celebrated Nazi-hunter and dedicated to fighting anti-Jewish bigotry, listed Jakob Augstein, a well-known editor and columnist, among 2012’s top perpetrators of the slurs.

It ranked his comments alongside those of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, Greece’s neo-Nazi Golden Dawn movement, racist European soccer fans and Louis Farrakhan….
