Best & Worst Beauty Of The Week: Kiernan Shipka, January Jones, Selena Gomez & More (PHOTOS)

The best beauty looks this week showcased great hair. “Mad Men” starlet Kiernan Shipka sported an age-appropriate updo, while “Iron Man 3″ actress Rebecca Hall proved that she has the best effortless summer waves.

And the worst looks of the week were hair-raising, too — Kelly Osbourne may have forgotten that she has bright purple hair when she applied too much self-tanner and Uma Thurman (who was looking stellar just last week!) may have skipped out on shampooing and/or brushing her hair before hitting the red carpet.

8 ‘Love Actually’ Cast Members Who Made It Big On TV (PHOTOS)

What do Betty Francis (née Draper) and Rick Grimes have in common? Neither character would be who s/he is without “Love Actually.”

“Mad Men” star January Jones and “Walking Dead” leader Andrew Lincoln both appeared in the 2003 romantic comedy hit along with plenty of other now-familiar faces.

Before she was Betty, Jones was “Love Actually‘s” flirtatious Jeannie, who picked up British horndog Colin (Kris Marshall) at her local Wisconsin bar along with her roommates, one of which was played by “Happy Endings” and “24” star Elisha Cuthbert.

Ke$ha’s Costume-y Look Tops This Week’s Worst-Dressed List (PHOTOS)

The Kids’ Choice Awards is a chance to take some risks, but along with daring looks come style slips. Ke$ha showed up looking like something out of “A Clockwork Orange” and Kristen Stewart turned heads in teeny tiny shorts and a pointy shouldered top that was giving off a “Star Trek” vibe.

“Mad Men” celebrated its premiere this week and the stars stepped out looking … interesting. January Jones took a risk in a sheer-up-to-there dress and Christina Hendricks covered up those gorgeous curves in an awkward frock.

All the April 2013 Covers, So Far

Michelle Obama isn’t the only lady with bangs and a Vogue cover this month: Tina Turner graces the glossy’s German version, and Edie Campbell the British edition.

After a strong showing last month, Louis Vuitton‘s checkers make a few appearances for April as well – this time in the form of a long-sleeved crop top. Rihanna wears one with a long skirt for Elle UK, while January Jones pairs hers with an itsy-bitsy miniskirt for British Glamour. Despite the fact that some of her past covers haven’t performed well, Taylor Swift graces two major magazines this month: Vanity Fair and InStyle UK. She wears wispy pastel outfits on both.

Miuccia Prada pulled in the ultimate front for Miu Miu Fall 2013: from stars like Renee Zellweger, January Jones and Zoe Saldana to pals like Marc Jacobs, this was a crowd to be reckoned with. An they were rewarded with a cutting-edge but utterly wearable collection with an emphasis on elongated silhouettes in navy with pops of bright pink, yellow and blue. Shoe with lug soles were paired with striped tights, while waists were nipped in on astrakhan and nylon coats.
