The best beauty looks this week showcased great hair. “Mad Men” starlet Kiernan Shipka sported an age-appropriate updo, while “Iron Man 3″ actress Rebecca Hall proved that she has the best effortless summer waves.
And the worst looks of the week were hair-raising, too — Kelly Osbourne may have forgotten that she has bright purple hair when she applied too much self-tanner and Uma Thurman (who was looking stellar just last week!) may have skipped out on shampooing and/or brushing her hair before hitting the red carpet.

LOS ANGELES, March 9 (UPI) — “Fashion Police” star Kelly Osbourne remains in a Los Angeles hospital, where doctors have been trying to determine what caused her to have a seizure, TMZ said.
New York Fashion Week got started last night, but there have already been plenty of celebrities flocking to stylish events. The amfAR Gala kicked off the week of festivities with stars like Heidi Klum, Alexa Chung, and Sarah Jessica Parker rubbing elbows with some of America’s biggest fashion names. The Heart Truth’s Red Dress fashion show also took place yesterday and saw Minka Kelly, Kelly Osbourne, and more walking down the runway to raise awareness for heart disease.
