THE FACTS: In a game lacking Deron Williams, Danilo Gallinari and Andre Iguodala, the Brooklyn Nets flipped one of their season’s scripts, riding strong second and third quarter performances to a 119-108 victory over the Denver Nuggets Wednesday night at Barclays Center. C.J. Watson excelled in Williams’ place with 25 points along with six dishes and Joe Johnson dominated stretches of the second half, finishing with 26 points and nine assists for Brooklyn (31-22). THE FACTS: Small forward Danilo Gallinari collected 19 points, nine rebounds and two blocked shots as the Denver Nuggets defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 111-103. Power forward Kenneth Faried added 17 points and seven boards for the Nuggets, who extended their winning streak to nine games and are 15-2 since Jan. 5. All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving led the Cavaliers across the board with 26 points, six rebounds and seven assists, while small forward Alonzo Gee chipped in 20 points.
