EW has snatched about a minute from Tuesday’s forthcoming hour of ABC Family’s soapy teen mystery “Pretty Little Liars” — EW‘s cover subject this week — that finds Spencer (Troian Bellisario) forcefully warning Emily (Shay Mitchell) that she may be the next one to feel Mona and the “A” team’s wrath.

Two Indie Comics Hit the Big Screen

Coming off his upcoming western adventure film The Lone Ranger, director Gore Verbinski is now set to helm and produce a feature adaptation of the North Korea-based graphic novel Pyongyang by Guy Delisle.

EW.com reports that Verbinki’s Blind Wink shingle will be teaming up with New Regency for the picture, which is described as “outsourcing run amok when a young animator sent to North Korea is accused of espionage.”

ABC Ponders Reviving Live-Action Star Wars Series

Yes, a Star Wars TV show could end up on ABC – possibly the one that’s already written. In the wake of the announcement of the recent Disney/Lucasfilm deal, which puts Lucasfilm in the same corporate family as ABC, there was a lot of speculation about what that could mean for Star Wars on TV – especially since it was well know that George Lucas had 50 scripts written for a live-action Star Wars TV series that had not been produced for budgetary reasons.

What’s Up With Avengers 2?

With his small screen endeavor S.H.I.E.L.D. ramping up for production, filmmaker Joss Whedon is going full steam ahead with all things Marvel for the foreseeable future, including The Avengers 2.
Buried in an Entertainment Weekly interview with the Avengers writer-director is the revelation that EW “met with him just days after he had submitted an outline for the 2015 sequel The Avengers, and as he was in the midst of preparing to shoot the pilot for what could be his next television series: S.H.I.E.L.D.”
No word on what possible new characters may join the team’s roster for Marvel’s The Avengers 2, but you can check out our wish list here.
