Kettering University, Hendrickson Team up for Co-Op Reception for Chicago-Area High School Students

WOODRIDGE, Ill.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Kettering University and Hendrickson Truck Commercial Vehicle Systems, one of the University’s top co-op partners, are teaming up for a reception for high school students interested in Kettering University in the Chicago area from 6-8 p.m. April 8.

The event will give students an opportunity to learn more about Kettering University‘s innovative co-op and experiential-based Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education model and will give insight into what both a co-op and career with an international industry leader like Hendrickson entails. Along with meeting Hendrickson officials, attendees will also be able to meet with Kettering University admissions and co-op representatives as well as talk with current Kettering University students who co-op with Hendrickson and alumni who work there.

HYDERABAD, India–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Dr. K. Anji Reddy, Founder & Chairman of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd., passed away this evening in Hyderabad. He was ailing for some time.

Dr. Reddy’s mission in life was to provide innovative new medicines at a price that the common man could afford. His passion for research became legendary when Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. became the first pharmaceutical company of India to initiate basic drug discovery research in 1993. A B.Sc graduate from Bombay University with specialization in Pharmaceutical Science and Fine Chemicals, Dr. Reddy obtained his Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from National Chemical Laboratory, Pune.
