OBJE Begins Work on Scalable Business Model to Capture $9 Billion Mobile Gaming Market

SARASOTA, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Obscene Interactive, the gaming subsidiary of OBJ Enterprises (OTCBB: OBJE), is working on a new game-publishing and advertising platform designed to inject a scalable business model into the $9 billion mobile gaming market.

OBJE is a company focused on growth, and we’re constantly seeking ways to expand revenues significantly without dramatically increasing our cost base,” said OBJE CEO Paul Watson. “We believe that new online publishing and advertising platform would be a key driver to increased profitability and huge growth opportunities for our company.”

OBJE announced last month that it’s exploring potential partnerships with indie game developers to build market share by publishing, distributing and marketing hot new social and mobile titles. Now, the company is turning its attention to the development of online tools to make it easier than ever before for indie game-makers to get their creations into the marketplace and maximize multiple revenue stream potential.

In fact, the company’s new scalable vision is already under construction: Earlier this month, the company signed a letter of intent to help market and develop Bluff Wars, a hysterical social game created by Texas-based indie developers FangTooth Studios. OBJE also submitted Phantasmic—the first game developed through its joint venture with Source Street—to the Apple (NAS: AAPL) App Store last week. An Android version of the app is set to follow.

Obscene Interactive is a division of OBJ Enterprises, Inc. that is working to develop innovative gaming products for the Apple App Store and Google (NAS: GOOG) Play platforms alongside companies such as Glu Mobile Inc. (NAS: GLUU) and The9 Limited (NAS: NCTY) .

Apple App Store Submission Could Give OBJE Access to Multi-Billion-Dollar Growth Market

SARASOTA, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– By submitting its debut gaming title, Phantasmic, to the Apple App Store this week, OBJ Enterprises (OTCBB: OBJE) expects to soon gain access to a booming, multi-billion-dollar applications market servicing the world’s growing number of smartphone and tablet users.

According to new data from research firm Canalys, the first three months of 2013 saw the four leading mobile app stores rack up approximately $2.2 billion in revenue, a figure which accounts for paid apps, in-app purchases and subscriptions. That number also represents a nine-percent increase compared to revenue tallied during the first quarter of last year. Total app downloads saw an 11-percent jump over last year to 13.4 billion.

Apple’s App Store remains comfortably at the top of the applications market, accounting for 74 percent of the revenues. That’s why it’s the first platform to which Phantasmic has been submitted for approval. The game is a free-to-play app created by Novalon Games, the developer founded by OBJE‘s joint venture with Source Street, and it’s planned to be the first of many submissions from OBJE.

“The App Store is an essential marketplace for products like Phantasmic, and we’re looking forward to developing and submitting more and more games to Apple in order to capture a big piece of that incredible market growth,” said OBJE CEO Paul Watson.

The next step for the company will be pursuing partnerships with indie developers to publish and distribute additional new titles. OBJE has already begun to pursue this new initiative, signing an LOI to help market and develop Bluff Wars, a hot new game created by Texas-based indie developers FangTooth Studios.

OBJE and Partners Submit First Game to Apple App Store

SARASOTA, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Obscene Interactive, the gaming division of OBJ Enterprises (OTCBB: OBJE), is proud to announce that its debut gaming app, Phantasmic, has been submitted to the Apple (NAS: AAPL) App Store in conjunction with its developer, Novalon Games.

The submission is the culmination of months of hard work by OBJE and its partners to capitalize on the incredible rise in popularity of free-to-play games for both Apple and Android devices. According to a recent Wall Street Journal article, the App Store brings in annual sales of $25 billion, driven largely by gaming titles. Earlier this year, the App Store hit 40 billion downloads since its inception, including 20 billion in 2012 alone.

In a joint venture with Source Street, OBJE formed gaming developer Novalon Games late last year to produce exciting new titles primed to succeed in the App Store and Google Play platforms. Once Phantasmic is approved by the App Store, the company expects to begin earning revenue from in-game purchases by downloaders.

“This is a major milestone in our mobile gaming initiative, and we’re extremely excited to go through the submission and approval process for the very first time,” said OBJE CEO Paul Watson. “Going through this process internally helps us to understand the market and hurdles associated with publishing social and mobile applications so that we can deliver economies of scale to our future gaming partners and indie developers.”

Phantasmic is the company’s first submission, but not the last. Hot on the heels of Phantasmic, OBJE and Novalon plan to submit their second gaming app, Stupid Pixels: an open-ended, puzzle-based strategy game that recalls motifs from the classic Lemmings.

OBJE Seeks Out New Publishing Deals to Capitalize on $6 Billion Social Gaming Market

SARASOTA, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– With market analysts predicting that the social gaming development industry’s revenue will reach $6 billion this year, Obscene Interactive, the gaming division of OBJ Enterprises (OTCBB: OBJE), is working to capitalize on that growth by pursuing new publishing deals with indie developers poised to reinvent the gaming industry with hot new titles.

According to a recent report by analysts IBISWorld, the social gaming industry’s revenue has grown by 184.3 percent per year on average during the past five years, making it one of the best sectors for startups in a global video game market expected by some experts to reach nearly $120 billion in 2015.

As part of its new initiative to build market share in this fast-growing industry, OBJE is working to forge new agreements to publish, distribute and market promising new games by indie developers, offering more equitable deals than the industry’s dominant players. Last week, the company signed a letter of intent to help market and develop Bluff Wars, a hysterical social game created by Texas-based indie developers FangTooth Studios.

In addition, OBJE is targeting the $9 billion mobile gaming app industry with its own free-to-play mobile games in partnership with Novalon Games, the developer founded by a joint venture between OBJE and Source Street. Test versions of its first two games, Stupid Pixels and Phantasmic, can be played online at www.novalongames.com.

“We envision Bluff Wars and the games developed by our partner Novalon to be only the beginning,” said OBJE CEO Paul Watson. “Social gaming is a very hit-driven business, and we’re looking for potential hits that we can help deliver to a booming marketplace of users.”

OBJE Explores New Partnerships With Indie Developers as Mobile Game Market Explodes

SARASOTA, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– As new technologies such as tablets and smartphones expand the mobile gaming industry to new markets around the globe, Obscene Interactive, the gaming subsidiary of OBJ Enterprises (OTCBB: OBJE), is exploring partnerships with indie game developers to build market share by publishing, distributing and marketing hot new titles.

In just a few short years, a market has arisen of more than 500 million mobile gamers worldwide spending more than $9 billion annually on their favorite hobby, according to a recent publication by mobile gaming market research firm Newzoo.

“We believe that the big names in game publishing are currently charging developers an absurd percentage to get their game on the market,” said OBJE CEO Paul Watson. “We think we have a better solution. By forging more equitable deals with these small developers, OBJE can help deliver exciting new gaming properties to dedicated customer and achieve just as much success, if not more, than our competitors.”

The company is currently targeting developers who have successfully launched at least one game in the mobile marketplace but could use OBJE‘s funding and expertise to take their business to the next level. Such partnerships could significantly boost OBJE‘s profile and value in an industry in the midst of explosive growth.

Novalon Games, the game developer founded by a joint venture between OBJE and Source Street, is hard at work on two new gaming apps to be released this year. Gamers and potential investors can check out these soon-to-be-available properties at www.novalongames.com.

Massive Success of Free-to-Play Model Boosts OBJE's Gaming App Projections

Massive Success of Free-to-Play Model Boosts OBJE’s Gaming App Projections

SARASOTA, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– The latest market data on free-to-play (FTP) gaming apps has significantly raised OBJ Enterprises’ (OTCBB: OBJE) internal expectations for Phantasmic, the first FTP game in offing from OBJE’s partners at Novalon Games.

The FTP statistics from the TomiAhonen Almanac 2013 are staggeringly positive. Revenue earned from mobile apps are forecast to approach $10 billion, with games accounting for about 80 percent of that total. The world’s estimated 1.2 billion mobile gamers have made free-to-play games their preferred business model, and the top FTP games pull in average revenue per daily user of 25 cents.

In fact, the strength of the FTP model has industry analysts such as SuperData Research predicting that the global market for FTP games will jump to nearly $21.5 billion by 2015.

“There are now roughly as many mobile gamers in the world as there are computer users,” said OBJE CEO Paul Watson. “FTP games are becoming the preferred choice for casual and hardcore gamers alike, and we’re ready to help feed that demand. Phantasmic is only the start.”

Novalon Games, the game developer founded by a joint venture between OBJE and Source Street, also released an early test version of the new puzzle-based mobile gaming app Stupid Pixels last week. The alpha version of Stupid Pixels and the beta version Phantasmic can be viewed and played online at www.novalongames.com. OBJE and Novalon look forward to your continued feedback as we prepare for our official releases.
