By The Huffington Post News Editors
Smell that? Change is in the air. As we make room in our closets for spring clothing, it’s time to warm up our beauty routines, too. Eva Longoria and Jennifer Garner sported effortless tress styles we love for lightening up.
Thankfully, repeat offenders like Kaley Cuoco finally took our pleas hints to ditch dark lipsticks. Yet some style stars like Vanessa Hudgens opted for decidedly wintry looks.

Official: YouTube's Super Bowl commercial buzz list dominated by automakers [w/videos]
By John Neff
Filed under: Marketing/Advertising, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Volkswagen
After Sunday’s big game, YouTube will be the place to watch every commercial that you missed when you left your seat for an emergency guac refill or, as we say in Cleveland, took the Browns to the Super Bowl. That makes YouTube the nation’s water cooler on Monday, and it’s got some preliminary stats to share in the lead up to kickoff.
As you know, Super Bowl advertisers, particularly automakers, like to endlessly tease their big budget commercials in the weeks before the game, many times revealing them outright days in advance. Because of this, YouTube can tell us which commercials have been viewed the most so far, and their top five list is all automakers.
Kaley Cuoco appears to have been a good investment for Toyota, as her ad for the RAV4 has garnered the most YouTube views – six million and counting – among Super Bowl commercials so far. Second place goes to Mercedes-Benz, though not its actual Super Bowl commercial, but rather the teaser for it. You know, the one with Kate Upton and the car washing, which is up to 5.6 million views. Third place is Audi’s Prom commercial (3.3M views), fourth goes to Volkswagen’s slightly controversial Get In, Get Happy ad (3.3M views), and the fifth and final spot is bookended by the teaser video for Kaley Cuoco’s commercial (3.2M views). You can watch all five in order below.
The data above is current and official as of 10:00 AM EST today, though things are changing quickly. For instance, while preparing this post, we noticed that VW‘s ad has already passed Audi’s in overall views.
This order will almost certainly be upended on game day anyway when the full onslaught of Super Bowl advertising hits our retinas in real time. After all, we haven’t heard a peep from Chrysler, which for the past two years has caught the nation’s collective attention with its prideful and patriotic commercials.

Video: Toyota, Kaley Cuoco grant wishes in Super Bowl XLVII ad
Filed under: Marketing/Advertising, Videos, Crossover, Toyota, Celebrities, Humor
For viewers who plan on watching the Super Bowl only for the commercials, here’s one for you to enjoy ahead of time. As we saw in the teaser video that Toyota released last week, will be making the transition from Big Bang to The Big Game as a wish-granting genie in a commercial for the 2013 Toyota RAV4.
Though not as entertaining as the actual teaser for this commercial, it still garnered a couple chuckles from the Autoblog crew. We won’t spoil it for you, but a word of advice: if Cuoco ever shows up in your driveway granting you wishes, we’d suggest you be very clear what you want… and enunciate.
If you want to see the commercial before this Sunday’s game, we have the video (and an accompanying press release) posted after the jump.

Toyota’s Super Bowl Ad Spot Goes… Weird: Video
By Kurt Ernst

Super Bowl advertising can chew up a sizable portion of any company’s marketing budget, but the end justifies the means. If you can make your commercial stand out above the rest, chances are good that many millions of viewers will take note and, potentially, remember your product when shopping.
Automakers have a long history of advertising during the Super Bowl, and sometimes it pays massive dividends. Remember Volkswagen’s ad with the pint-sized Darth Vader? It was the sensation of the 2011 Super Bowl, and it was getting hits long after the game was a memory. On the other hand, does anyone remember Suzuki’s Kizashi ad from last year, with a car full of sled dogs?
This year, Mercedes is hoping that swimsuit model Kate Upton will be a hit, while Lincoln and Audi are letting fans direct the ad’s message. Volkswagen is going for a more down-home approach, with owners relating VW stories, while Hyundai will try to show that your car is your buddy.
Toyota, on the other hand, is borrowing a page from Kia’s 2012 Super Bowl playbook, and going for the weird factor. In the teaser video above, Kaley Cuoco from CBS’ The Big Bang Theory strolls the streets of an anonymous city, bedecked in purple, granting wishes to the people she passes. We’d caution you to be careful what you wish for, since who really wants to wander around in the form of a giant ogre? Would you throw the flag for “excessive use of purple” as quickly as we would?
What’s your take on this? Will weird sell, or is Mercedes taking the right approach by showing as much skin as it can? Will VW’s feel good ads be memorable, or are they off-target this year?
Video: Toyota releases teaser for Kaley Cuoco Super Bowl ad

Toyota has released a 35-second teaser video for its upcoming Super Bowl spot staring Kaley Cuoco, the actress best known for her role as object-of-nerd-affection Penny on The Big Bang Theory. The real star of the ad, however, is its soundtrack, the 1995 hit “I Wish” by rapper Skee-Lo that will have your mind cashing nostalgia checks the moment it hits your ears.
We still don’t know much about the content, plot or story of this Super Bowl commercial, though we can say that its object of promotion is likely the new RAV4 we see Ms. Cuoco driving in it. The rest of the time she’s walking the street in a purple get-up granting wishes like Robin Williams on a Disney sound stage. And then the Easter Bunny and a chihuahua enter the picture and we get lost. Clint Eastwood under a bridge this is not.
But hey, Super Bowl ads cost millions and millions of dollars to produce and air, so we trust that Toyota spent its money wisely and will have us ROFLing on game day. Until then, scroll down and witness for yourself the debut of Kaley Cuoco as a Toyota spokeswoman.

ETC: Toyota Super Bowl ad to star Big Bang Theory bombshell Kaley Cuoco
By Zach Bowman
Toyota has turned to actress Kaley Cuoco for a little help during this year’s Super Bowl. The Big Bang Theory star will play a role front and center in the automaker’s spot for the game, and Toyota fans have a chance to show up in the ad as well. Anyone can take a photo and upload it via Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #wishgranted for a chance to have their image featured in the commercial on February 3. While Toyota isn’t saying exactly what the pictures will be used for, we imagine the photos will need to be rated PG. Sorry, guys.
Toyota isn’t saying much more about the ad or what its plot line will offer, at least for now. Expect to hear more details surface as we get closer to game day. In the interim, you can check out the brief press release below for more information, or check out Toyota’s “Get In The Big Game” web page at the link below.
