If you thought Sheldon couldn’t get any more obliviously offensive, this week’s “Big Bang Theory” probably set you straight.
After the unfortunate death of Dr. Tupperman, a tenured position opened up at the university, prompting Sheldon, Leonard and Raj to compete for the role.
When it came to light that Regina King’s Janine Davis (the woman to whom Sheldon was sent for sensitivity training) was on the committee, Sheldon managed to offend her yet again — offering her a copy of “Roots” to make up for the bad first impression he might have made on her. Naturally, she didn’t find a film about slavery to be in the best taste.
