Rovio Entertainment has announced Angry Birds Star Wars II, coming to iOS devices on September 19.
It’ll include a new story as well as over 30 familiar characters including young Anakin, Mace Windu, General Grievous, Darth Maul…and also Jar Jar Binks. There’ll also be the option to “Join the Pork Side” and fight for the villainous pigs.
The game is slated to make use of Hasbro’s Telepod technology in a similar manner to Skylanders to allow you to scan Angry Birds Star Wars II toys into the game, thereby letting you choose what type of bird to attack with.
