THE FACTS: In a tougher game than the Los Angeles Clippers would have liked with playoff seeding on the line, they came from 10 points down to beat the New Orleans Hornets 96-93. The Clippers used 10 points, two rebounds and assists and a block in the fourth quarter by Chris Paul to overcome the deficit. Paul finished with 17 points and 14 assists to go with seven rebounds to pace Los Angeles (54-26). Matt Barnes added 16 points and 10 rebounds and Jamal Crawford had 15 points off the bench.

THE FACTS: Shooting guard Jamal Crawford scored a game-high 24 points as the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 105-89. Power forward Blake Griffin collected 16 points and 11 rebounds for Los Angeles, while point guard Chris Paul added 11 points and a game-high 15 assists. Rookie shooting guard Dion Waiters scored 17 points for Cleveland, which played without All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving for the third straight game. THE FACTS: Blake Griffin set a physical tone early, DeAndre Jordan continued it late, and the Los Angeles Clippers opened their eight-game road trip with a push-and-shove 96-90 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves in Target Center. Griffin bulled his way to 12 first-quarter points, including three dunks or layups, and finished with 26 points and 13 rebounds in leading the Clippers to their second straight win, and fourth in a row over Minnesota. Jordan made 6-of-8 shots to add 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Jamal Crawford scored 17 points, nine in the fourth quarter, and Caron Butler nailed a go-ahead 3-pointer in the with 2:45 to play to put Los Angeles ahead for good.

THE FACTS: The Los Angeles Clippers got an early lead and never looked back, defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves, 90-77, on Thursday night. It wasn’t the Clippers’ most efficient game as they turned over the ball 18 times and let the Wolves gain an advantage in the fast break, but it was enough. Jamal Crawford scored 22 off the bench for Los Angeles and Blake Griffin added 20 points.
