TravelCenters of America Completes Its 1,000 th on-Island Bulk Def Dispenser Installation and $100 Million Investment in Fuel Islands

WESTLAKE, Ohio–(BUSINESS WIRE)– TravelCenters of America LLC (TravelCenters), operator of the TA® and Petro Stopping Centers® travel center brands, has announced the completion of installation of its 1,000th bulk on-island Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) dispenser.

The on-island installations include an industry-best dispensing technology that provides professional drivers with a more efficient fueling process. Called the “DEF+1″, the dispensers pump both diesel fuel and DEF. Drivers can authorize diesel and DEF transactions at the same time at the same dispenser, pump both products in any order, and pay for both fills at the same time. The “DEF+1″ dispenser also saves time because it eliminates the need for drivers to leave the diesel island to accommodate both fills. In addition, drivers with refrigerated trailers can dispense diesel to their vehicle, diesel to their refrigeration unit and DEF to their DEF reservoir, in a single transaction without leaving the fuel island.

“Our installation of on-island DEF dispensers not only uses the latest, most efficient dispensing equipment available, we also took the time to eliminate product and equipment failure risk for drivers by using underground storage and piping. In addition, our DEF installations were completed hand-in-hand with the installation of new, higher-speed diesel dispensers; our investment in these technologies, totaling about $100 million, was made to serve our customers better than anyone else on the interstate,” said Tom O’Brien, President and CEO of TravelCenters.

TravelCenters expects that, with the exception of two sites where local zoning has delayed completion of planned installation, 100% of its operated locations will offer on-island bulk DEF by the end of May 2013, and that all locations will offer on-island bulk DEF by the end of June 2013. Rentech Nitrogen Announces Results for Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2012; Issues 2013 Guidance

LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Rentech Nitrogen Partners, L.P. (NYS: RNF) , which manufactures and sells nitrogen fertilizer products including ammonia, urea ammonium nitrate solution (UAN) and ammonium sulfate, today announced its results for the three and twelve months ended December 31, 2012 and provided guidance for 2013.

Commenting on the results for the period, D. Hunt Ramsbottom, CEO of Rentech Nitrogen GP, LLC, stated, “2012 was a successful year for Rentech Nitrogen. We delivered strong results, and completed a major accretive acquisition and our urea/DEF expansion at the East Dubuque Facility.”

Mr. Ramsbottom continued, “Although we expect 2013 cash distributions to total approximately $2.60 per unit due to planned and unplanned downtime, we look forward to a very strong 2014, with three expansions scheduled for full production that are expected to add significantly to 2014 cash distributions and EBITDA.”

Financial Highlights

The financial statements for the periods ended December 31, 2012 include results of the Pasadena Facility from the date of the closing of the acquisition of Agrifos LLC on November 1, 2012.


Three months ended December 31, 2012

Revenues for the three months ended December 31, 2012 were $92.4 million, compared to $63.0 million for the comparable period in the prior year. The increase was due to the contribution of $37.4 million of revenues from the Pasadena Facility, which was partially offset by decreased sales prices and volumes for most products at the East Dubuque Facility. Ammonia and UAN sales volumes declined in the current period as a result of production lost during plant outages at the East Dubuque Facility that occurred in the fourth quarter of 2012. This delayed UAN shipments scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2012 into the first quarter of 2013.

During the three months ended December 31, 2012, Rentech Nitrogen generated operating income of $21.3 million compared to $22.6 million during the comparable period in the prior year. Operating income in the current period was reduced by $4.1 million of acquisition costs for the Pasadena Facility.

Disc space issues and purging of files

Hi All,

I am looking forward to create a unix shell script to purge the files.

The requirement is:

1) Do df -k and check the current space occupied for the /a1 folder.
2) If the space consumed is greater than 90 %, delete all the DEF* files from a subfolder /a1/archive.

Example:

df -k results in:
/dev/lv02 4194304 412292 91% 94883 10% /a1

Since the space is consumed > 90 % (91% in this case), the following files needs to be deleted:

/a1/ARCHIVE/DEF111.txt
/a1/ARCHIVE/DEF112.txt
/a1/ARCHIVE/DEF113.txt
/a1/ARCHIVE/DEF114.txt
/a1/ARCHIVE/DEF115.txt
/a1/ARCHIVE/DEF116.txt

Merge different versions of file in UNIX

Hello Experts,
I want to merge my local file (File1) with the changes in remote server (File1). For Example:

File1 contents are… (file @ remote server)
ABC

GHI

I, as USER#1, have updated the contents of File1 in my local as…
ABC
DEFGhi

JKL

meanwhile, some USER#2, have already commited the new changes in remote server repository…now the File1 contents, @ remote server, are…
ABC
123DEF
GHI

Now, I don’t want to simply replace remote File1 with my local File1 coz by doing so, I might overwrite on USER#2 changes. So now I need to merge the latest file in remote server repository with my local file changes (without changing the sequence). Can anyone please help?

i want to generate 2 files where frist.txt will contain the 1-9 lines which are in red in color. and second.txt will contain 1 and 10 t0 12 lines.i have this sequence through out the file.i am newbie and need help.
