Dr Pepper Snapple Group to Webcast Conference Call and Slide Presentation on First Quarter 2013 Earnings

PLANO, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. (NYS: DPS) will issue its first quarter 2013 financial results on Wednesday, April 24, before the market opens.

Larry Young, DPS president and CEO, and Marty Ellen, chief financial officer, will discuss the results during an earnings conference call for financial analysts and investors at 10 a.m. CDT that day. The conference call and slide presentation will be accessible live through the DPS website at http://www.drpeppersnapple.com and will be archived for replay for a period of 14 days.

Dr Pepper Snapple Group Refreshes Its Sponsorship with the Pittsburgh Penguins

PITTSBURGH–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Dr Pepper Snapple Group‘s (NYS: DPS) partnership with the Pittsburgh Penguins is as solid as ice. DPS and the celebrated hockey team announced today they are extending their multi-year marketing and sponsorship agreement for an additional seven years, through July 2020.

As the exclusive provider of carbonated soft drinks and other beverages at the CONSOL Energy Center since 2010, DPS gives fans a lot of flavor with more than 30 products to enjoy — such as Dr Pepper, Diet Dr Pepper, 7UP, RC Cola and more — while cheering on the Penguins. The agreement also covers teas, bottled water, energy drinks, juices and juice drinks.

In addition to exclusive vending and pouring rights, DPS will receive certain advertising provisions such as radio broadcast, in-venue signs and an annual playoff promotion. It will also continue its “Cap Trick” program, an under the cap contest where fans can accrue and redeem points with the purchase of select DPS beverages and participate in fun online activities for Penguins tickets and gear.

Dr Pepper Snapple Group Signs Agreement to Reacquire Distribution Rights for Snapple and Other Brands in Asia-Pacific

PLANO, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Dr Pepper Snapple Group (NYS: DPS) today announced that it has reached an agreement with Mondeléz International, Inc. to reacquire the distribution rights for Snapple and several other non-carbonated beverage brands in parts of Asia-Pacific.

The company will have the rights to distribute Snapple in Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea. In Australia, the company also will have distribution rights for Mott’s, Mr & Mrs T, Clamato, Mistic, Holland House and Yoo-hoo.

“This agreement enables us to explore opportunities for expanding the presence of Snapple and other non-carbonated brands in an important region of the world,” said Jim Johnston, president – Beverage Concentrates and Latin America Beverages. “Obtaining the distribution rights to Snapple and other brands in Asia-Pacific gives us a foothold in a growing market that we can tap for future development over time.”

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The company said it does not anticipate that the acquisition will have any material effect on its 2013 financial results.
