Brightcove to Host Investor & Analyst Day at PLAY 2013 Global Customer Conference

(NAS: BCOV) , a leading global provider of cloud content services, today announced that it will host an investor and analyst day at the company’s third annual PLAY global customer conference at the InterContinental hotel in Boston on May 14th, 2013. The event, which is scheduled to begin at 1:00pm ET and conclude at 3:30pm ET, will include presentations from Brightcove’s management.

Enables Angry Birds fans around the world to watch 52 on-demand episodes across Smart TVs, smartphones and tablets

BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Brightcove (NAS: BCOV) , a leading global provider of cloud content services, today announced that Rovio Entertainment, an entertainment media company headquartered in Finland and the creator of the globally successful Angry Birds franchise, has selected the Brightcove Video Cloud online video platform to support the launch of its Angry Birds Toons animated series. Angry Birds game users, which number more than 1.7 billion downloads according to Rovio, can now watch the latest adventure of the birds and pigs across smartphones and tablets with the help of Video Cloud, which makes it possible for Rovio to publish and distribute the video series to audiences across devices.
